I am filing this complaint against Puppies N Love regarding the sale of a dog that, in my experience, was affected by serious hereditary health issues that were not adequately addressed after purchase. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed because I believe the business failed to provide fair and meaningful resolution despite the significant financial and emotional hardship that followed. After purchasing the dog and bringing it home, we learned that it had major medical problems that ultimately led to more than \$8,000 in veterinary expenses. Both our veterinarian and the surgeon advised that the condition was hereditary. Despite receiving this information, Puppies N Love has not, in my view, accepted appropriate responsibility for the costs associated with the dog's condition. Any assistance discussed appears to be limited to store credit rather than meaningful reimbursement for the substantial out-of-pocket expenses we have incurred. I am also concerned about the representations made during the sales process and the company's warranty practices. At the time of purchase, we were given the impression that the dog could potentially be bred or shown, which suggested a certain level of health and suitability. Because of the dog's medical condition, those options are no longer possible. This has caused me to question whether the dog's health background was fully disclosed and whether the information provided at the time of sale was accurate, complete, and responsible. As a result of this condition, our dog now requires two surgeries and may face a diminished quality of life at a very young age. This experience has been emotionally distressing and financially damaging. Through this complaint, I am requesting a fair resolution, including meaningful reimbursement for the veterinary expenses related to the hereditary condition, as well as accountability for the manner in which this sale and its aftermath were handled. I believe consumers deserve transparency, accurate disclosures, and responsible follow-through when serious health issues arise after the purchase of a pet. read more

The young lady that greeted me said that I could choose a pup to love on so I did and was instructed to a very clean room to play also gave me a few toys. The store is so clean and the dogs were all happy and healthy. We all know 2020 has been a horrible year for everyone. Well on Monday my baby Maltipom suddenly died after having her for over 5 yrs. Since it hasn't been easy for any of us we wanted to at least try and turn it around by getting a new puppy so we woldn't have Christmas on such a bad note. So we sat down and started researching on a puppy we all loved that we could add to the family since we have all been depressed with losing our little one. Especially our Maltipoo has been depressed since he was with his sister for 5yrs. So Friday night I called this location and asked them about their Female Beaglepoo if it was still available, since we are willing to drive all the way to Arizona. And she said yes, still available, NO MENTION of anything about "just to let you know we can not really hold any puppy unless you make a deposit to hold it." Plus I didn't want to de driving from Las Vegas to Phoenix for no reason. I gave them my information and they confirmed me for 1pm. Saturday morning me, my wife, and our dog left Las Vegas at 6am and at 12:45 my GPS said that I wouldn't be there till 1:15. So I called them and asked if I could move my appointment to 1:30pm and the young lady said that would not be a problem and we will see you at 1:30pm. 10 mins later she called me back to inform me that they just sold the dog. At that point my mouth dropped and as if I was being punked, I asked her are you serious. The person on the other end says no we just sold it but we have other dogs. I told her that I drove all the way from Las Vegas for this dog and we had an appointment with them for this certain dog. I even explained to her about what happen to our dog who died and that we only brought enough funds for the cost of this dog. No empathy at all. We could have easily place the deposit to ensure that we would still be able to see the BeaglePoo when we get there, but we were never given that option. If I would of known that they wouldn't hold an animal that they were selling then we wouldn't have wasted our time getting up early and driving almost 5 hours to buy this dog. It is sad that with everyone else appreciative of any business especially during this pandemic when a lot of businesses are struggling, they are just arrogant knowing they can feed on the depression of the people and the need to get a companion. And yes, that's why we treasure dogs more sometimes cause at least they have more respect and does not take advantage of people or situation compared to humans. For a business that brands themselves about care and love, really does not care at all. Its all about a sale by the end of the day,. So if you are wanting to buy a pet I would encourage you to go anywhere else that would be happy for your business where this place could care less. read more

I can't really speak for the quality of animals, or products in this store, since I've only been to it for puppy play! I wanted to surprise my dog-crazy girlfriend for a small, yet cute/creative date so I brought her to Puppies N Love after reading they did puppy play on their website. They had all kinds of dogs come out and play in rotation for what I'm pretty sure was a whole hour. Retriever pups, frenchies, yorkies, poodles, and a whole other bunch I can't name right now. It was a huge circle of about 30-40 of us, and from the looks of it, it was really fun! Great way to get some puppy therapy, and possibly fall in love with a fur baby you'll end up buying. read more

I had a great experience. I liked that they had an open pen and let some of the puppies have free play. That is how little Charlie caught my eye. He was the smallest guy in the prn but he was the fiercest. As soon as I inquired about him from assistant manager Nikki she focused her attention to me and my questions from then until the time I left. She was so thorough with the adoption process and the great benefits that come with adding a member to your family. When it was time to take my little man home it was close to the routine feeding time and they are so considerate and caring that they sent me home with a bowl of food for the car ride home, I live 45 minutes away. I stopped in to look at a puppy with my friend and we both left with doggies. $10,000 worth of dogs. They were the cutest! The staff was friendly, however our experience has been garbage. My new puppy and my friends new puppy spent the whole day play. The next day hers woke up puking and she brought her into the vet. He dog tested positive for Parvo. The dog had to spend 2.5 days in the emergency room to be treated, $1800 later. This obviously scared me, so I brought my dog into our vet to get some tests done too. My pet did not have Parvo. However two days later, both of our vets got results back from our new pups' stool, and both also tested positive for Guardia. Giardia is a parasitic worm. So basically the place is an infestation and they are selling dogs off for $5k that are very ill. We've now had the dogs for almost two weeks and have spent HOURS and DAYS in and out of the vet and hospitals getting medicine, proper treatment and care. In addition to this, giardia is highly contagious and now our family, including a baby will need to be tested so that we aren't sick. As well as my friend and her family. So after spending $10,000 total, we're about $4,000 in, getting everyone fixed. I'm absolutely dumbfounded and cannot believe this place is even open for business. Also, Parvo is highly contagious as well, and I'm sure all 5 dogs in the same kennel, also have Parvo. Don't get a puppy from here. Also the owner seems to think Giardia can't be transferred from dog to human, however it can, as warned by our certified VET. It's highly contagious. With that said, there are plenty of known cases of cross contamination and it can easily be prevented with having a clean environment and cleaning the animals properly. Although the company seems to think that 1 phone call from a manager and 1 phone call from an employee, resolved the issue, it does not. The issue is still standing, because we still have now 3 very sick dogs, and we have to clean everything with bleach each time they use the restroom, and there are now HUMAN family members being treated as well. read more

In 2018, we came in to this store, just to look at puppies. When I saw this corgi sleeping in the bottom corner cage, I just knew I had to adopt him. I asked an employee to take him out so I can meet him, and I fell in love. He was quiet, and loved to sniff things. We brung him home the next day, and MAN, was he a piece of work! He would nip at your heels and snap the air with his teeth. Since corgis are highly intelligent, we trained him to not nip, and was able to potty train him in about a week, with only a couple accidents afterwards. His name is Rex, but we call him Dickey. We purchased our puppy from here and love him but he was sick for months and not at all what they say he is. We specifically purchased him bc he had poodle in him due to allergies and he has no poodle In him at all. Don't trust the pics of the parents. I called after to ask if they confirm the breed and they said they do not. I spoke to the manager and a manager at another location and they said the same thing. I asked for some sire/dam information on a golden retriever puppy out of curiosity. Despite talking about the pedigree they could not tell me how large either parent was and said it was impossible to get any information. This place outrages me! The poor babies are ALL sick and not kept clean. They all had diarrhea and the sales associates did not seem to care one bit. The puppy in the front window was crying and scratching at the door and then had terrible diarrhea all over the place. They finally opened the door when we complained the third time and only cleaned a portion of it out. That poor baby had walked in it and went 4-5 times all around the space. They seemed annoyed.
