I recently adopted (six weeks ago) an eight-week old puppy from Kaley's litter...Cathy was…read moreresponsive to emails and texts, and we had a lengthy phone conversation prior to her accepting my deposit. I brought home a little guy who was born right before Xmas 2025 and everyone, and I mean everyone, who has met him just thinks he's the cutest thing ever. Strangers, neighbors, people in stores, the vet and vet techs...everyone. He is mostly confident, he does startle sometimes with new loud sounds, but he stays put to see how I react. He does play hard w/ the 10 y/o corgi at my house, and also with my friend's two puppies, he really holds his own, but as puppies go, he's really calm (and I would say he was the most calm of his five siblings, based on the video I saw and Cathy's input). I would say they are as de-sensitized as they could be, after eight weeks (when we can adopt them). He is very sweet and very cute, and has been learning commands over the past few weeks (he is just coming up on 15 weeks old tomorrow). I hope to take him back to see Cathy and Mike the next time I get to PHX.

We are so fortunate to find Cathy as the breeder for our lovely Luna. We picked up our Luna when…read moreshe was 2 months old and she was grass pad trained and very comfortable in the playpen and sleeping in her own crate. The way they train the puppies early on really helped them to feel that crates are a safe space. We were amazed at how little training it took us when we first got Luna. Luna was also desensitized by all the different sounds and she was so calm and happy when she came home with us. Cathy and Mike guided us throughout our first few weeks by recommending Baxter & Bella to help us prepare for our puppy. Cathy is always available for questions and she constantly updates her breeder recommendation page to keep us updated. Cathy also allowed us to come to visit anytime for Luna to see her parents again and play with the other Cotons! We are really grateful for everything Cathy and Mike recommended and have helped us throughout this year. I can't wait to one day get another puppy from them when Luna is a little older.

I am filing this complaint against Puppies N Love regarding the sale of a dog that, in my…read moreexperience, was affected by serious hereditary health issues that were not adequately addressed after purchase. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed because I believe the business failed to provide fair and meaningful resolution despite the significant financial and emotional hardship that followed. After purchasing the dog and bringing it home, we learned that it had major medical problems that ultimately led to more than \$8,000 in veterinary expenses. Both our veterinarian and the surgeon advised that the condition was hereditary. Despite receiving this information, Puppies N Love has not, in my view, accepted appropriate responsibility for the costs associated with the dog's condition. Any assistance discussed appears to be limited to store credit rather than meaningful reimbursement for the substantial out-of-pocket expenses we have incurred. I am also concerned about the representations made during the sales process and the company's warranty practices. At the time of purchase, we were given the impression that the dog could potentially be bred or shown, which suggested a certain level of health and suitability. Because of the dog's medical condition, those options are no longer possible. This has caused me to question whether the dog's health background was fully disclosed and whether the information provided at the time of sale was accurate, complete, and responsible. As a result of this condition, our dog now requires two surgeries and may face a diminished quality of life at a very young age. This experience has been emotionally distressing and financially damaging. Through this complaint, I am requesting a fair resolution, including meaningful reimbursement for the veterinary expenses related to the hereditary condition, as well as accountability for the manner in which this sale and its aftermath were handled. I believe consumers deserve transparency, accurate disclosures, and responsible follow-through when serious health issues arise after the purchase of a pet.

In 2019, my wife and I decided to purchase a Goldendoodle addition to our family. We texted Joella…read moreregarding the opportunity (Operating under Phoenix Doodle Ranch - no website - instagram only - same phone number). Her communication was spotty, but we agreed on a F1B apricot Goldendoodle for $1,850.00 and picked him up on November 17th, 2019. Joella never provided the dog's parents information, and would send us photos of an apricot coat doodle (which we requested), stating she would have a male available for us. Well we show up in San Tan Valley, and there are 2 males with light tan coats... No apricot doodles. They informed us it is common to have varying colors and thought nothing of it. We feel in love with the dogs personality and took him home. We often received remarks from other dog parents, questioning if it was a labradoodle, and brushed it off as him having a light coat. Well.... Fast forward 8 months to when we received a Wisdom Health Panel through our veterinarian as part of our his puppy health plan. The results.... we were defrauded. Paying a premium for what we believed to be an F1B Goldendoodle, when the dog is actually part lab (12.5%), part golden (25%), and part poodle (62.5%). The panel shows the parents were a labradoodle crossed with a goldendoodle. The dog is a bundle of joy, but the less than 75% poodle mix has left his hair straighter than most. Requiring more frequent grooming and issues with matting. I contacted Joella to discuss the recent findings, providing screenshots of our conversations confirming she would provide an F1B, and screenshots of the health panel proving otherwise. She responded that she sent in testing for the parents in question, 2 minutes later said the male is 100% AKC certified, and said she would give a full refund if we brought the dog back. I explained the dog is part of our family and we love him, but would agree to a 50% refund AND I agreed to pay for an additional DNA test out of my own pocket to confirm. She reinforced the only refund she would make is if we brought the dog back, and requested I never contact her again. BUYER BEWARE - you may be paying a premium for what you believe to be a goldendoodle, and receiving a different mix of breeds...

I have more experience now, I got the other puppy a couple weeks ago, she had diarrhea for days and upon taking her to the vet, she had Giardia, Spirochete and coccidia, costing almost $300 after spending $1450 to get her. I let Joella know, and she apologized, acting surprised that there were any parasites and said she'd pay for it. I then spent 3 weeks trying to follow up to get reimbursed for the vet with no response from her. I ended up having to take the puppy back to the vet and she still had giardia, requiring another round of antibiotics. Joella finally responded and reimbursed me $76 out of the now over $400 in unnecessary vet bills. She also came up with excuses as to why she didn't have photos of the puppy's parents, and ignored any texts that related to any important info about the puppy. The puppy is sweet and healthy now, but just a heads up if you choose Azdoodles, you will end up paying double the original price to get the puppy healthy, along with dodged questions from Joella. I recommend finding another breeder, and do your research on BBB.
