They need to change this company's name to 0 star irrigation. They deserve 0 stars. I hired 5 star irrigation 4/16/24 to make a repair to my irrigation system. My system did not turn off because of a leak. My landscaper turned off the system until 5 star irrigation came. The tech, whom I could barely understand, told me it would be $190. The tech then said that there was a leak at the box, which was causing water to pool in the area. I had checked in him multiple times. Before work started, I confirmed the cost of $190 and how they only accept cash or electronic transfer (red flags) for payment. When he finished less than an hr later of slowly working, he then doubled the price to $380! Surprised, I then told him that I talked to him before he started about how it would be $190. He argued a lot with me then, and he demanded $330. I then paid him even though I did not want to pay his doubled price, however, he did not provide a receipt even after me asking! Also, I followed up with the person whom I was in contact with for scheduling the appointment, and they did not send the receipt. Also, I had mentioned that the problem still exists to the company, and the company has completed ignored any of my contact. I want a full refund so I can hire a professional company to fix the issue. AVOID AND STAY AWAY from this company. Read the other negative reviews online. They are not honest, they did a horrible job, did not even provide a receipt when requested. They are very expensive and will find ways to increase the agreed upon price. The problem is even worse now, and there is no service once they have your money. read more

He quickly identified the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour. He took great care in not hurting our yard. I requested a estimate and mario came and gave me the estimate.The price was $880 for replaceing one head and raising about 10.I then called and spoke to women at office and asked to have mario call me.No call ,after leaveing message on machine for mario to call .Still no call,just wanted to ask about the work neede and how the price came to $480.All i can say poor customer service and overpriced for couple hours labor and $30 part. read more

After hiring another company that was a disaster (our irrigation water bill doubled after they "repaired" our system), we hired Mario and I'm so grateful for his expertise and professionalism. He installed a new timer that has a rain sensor, is wifi enabled so he can see our system on his phone. He also replaced all the heads and rotor that the other company did not. When we moved into the home we purchased we found that there were problems with the sprinkler system. When turning on the sprinkler system, one zone had no pressure at all and water was running out into the street from the valve box. Another zone had low pressure and had a head completely broken and spraying water into the air. There were other heads that needed cleaning and tuning as well. They quoted me $350 to do the work. As they were working, I would check with their progress and he would update me - he found issues with the way the pipes by the valves were done where one was broken and others could fail and suggested he repair/replace those. He also said he needed to replace the sprinkler filter with a better one. He never said anything about it costing more that his original quote of $350, so I assumed this was still within that price. When he was all done with the work, he told me he replaced all 5 valves, which he never cleared with me, re-did all the piping by the valves and added a big water filter with white PVC right by the street sticking up 2 feet in the air (which no other home in the neighborhood has I found out) and told me the total bill was $1350! When I got upset at the price going up by 4x, he said he would rip it all out if I wasn't going to pay! Beware of this contractor doing work you didn't approve or not clearing work with you. Get it all in writing - or better yet, use a company your neighbor has been happy with for years. read more

Mario and his assistantel stoped by and determine an irregation issue which turn out to be one of the valves that required to be replaced. As expected, the issue was fixed in no time. What was more valuable is how he explained step by step how to diagnosed the problem along with how to resolve the issue.
