What a fun way to spend an afternoon. Courteous and knowledgeable owners. We came out because our 8 year old was set on riding a horse. Brandon ensured we were all comfortable and well situated on our horses. He and another trainer Kayla walked the course with our girls ages 8 and 11 which made this Momma very happy. Our trail was 30min long and took us through what they called the fairy garden - the girls loved that idea. Other rides can be longer but because we had the littles this time length and speed fit us perfectly. The location is very easy to find coming in from Fort Myers. Our GPS took us right in. The weather was beautiful, it was awesome to be outside and on the horses. All total it was around 40 per rider. They have the ability to take credit cards and you can tip on the card. read more

My girlfriend and I are on vacation from NY and staying at our house in Ft. Myers. We wanted to add more adventure into the mix so we decided to check out 5 Star Stables. We drove 45 minutes to the Stables and I realized that I should've called up in advance and made a reservation but Brandon told me if I wait about an hour, he'd gladly squeeze us in for a 1.5 hour trail ride. They were ready for us promptly and quickly got us mounted up and ready to go on Cutter and Pico. The trail ride through the woods was great and Brandon was a great guide, keeping us engaged and answering any questions we had about anything and everything. The time flew by and it was an absolute great time. I am going to make it a point to go to 5 Star Stables every time I come down here for vacation from now on. We paid $75/each for 1.5 hours and I think that is more than fair! I highly, highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a horseback riding adventure! read more

I asked them a question regarding riding lessons. It was a pretty detailed email and my response was a three word, we don't do that, back. It was somewhat rude and I was a little taken aback. I guess I would've appreciated a little bit more than we don't do that. It is what it is. We came in for a 1 hour horseback ride purchased through Groupon. The staff was very friendly and easy to make our reservation with. Once we arrived, they set up our horses and gave us instructions on how to ride/direct the horse. I had never been before and felt like they did a good job. Our ride was very peaceful and beautiful. We even stopped at one point and the staff member took pictures of each person! Thanks for a wonderful day, hope to be back soon! I recommend bringing a water bottle and sunglasses. read more

Friendly folks and healthy horses, they accommodated our very limited availability however, I feel like they did push the horses a little bit too much trying to fit us in. A couple of them were a little irritable by the time we got on them for the last ride of the day you could tell they were tired and ready to be done and we're not the easiest. I took my wife there for her birthday. What a morning. The staff greeted us with a welcome smile. We were early and encouraged to walk around and see the horses and property. A short time later we were introduced to our horses for our trail ride. Each of us was paired with a horse that fit our experience and physique. I watched my wife smile for the entire trail ride. My daughter attended this years Spring Break camp (2019) at 5 Star Stables. She loved it so much she asked to take lessons. She's consistently been taking lessons with Mr. Brandon since. He is fun and his attention to detail is spot on. When I told her she could go to camp during the summer she asked to try English camp. She is having the time of her life! I can not thank Ms. Chrain, Ms. Robin, Ms. Nicole and the others enough for such an amazing week. She is not only learning the basics but having a blast doing crafts, games and riding. It is evident that everyone at 5 Star Stables has a passion for horses and are gems in our book. I'd highly recommend 5 Star Stables for lessons, camps or trail rides! I've been there and watched when they're getting ready for a trail ride. They take their time and make sure the horses are equipped and suitable for each rider. Went here to ride on my daughters birthday. We had a great day with overcast skies. Each person in the group was assigned a horse. We went through Florida land with trees and even some fairy gardens. The horses are well cared for and the stables are charming. It is no frills, but the staff is friendly. read more

Just an amazing experience, we opted for the 1 1/2 hour ride. Both of us had not been on a horse for a long while, my wife since she was five and me since i was a teenager so we didn't want to overdo it. My wife had a bad experience when she was last on a horse and because it was my birthday and she wanted to make me happy on my birthday. She was great and the people were awesome. There were two very cute little girls and kept us entertained because we were real early, they knew everything about horses at such a young age. Our guide (I believe it was Kelly, I hope I get this correct) was awesome and so caring with my wife, she was really nervous but she did great and really enjoyed the ride. She is ready to go again, if you want to have a great time on some really great calm horses this is the place to go. We are looking forward to our next ride. The best birthday ever. This was our second visit to trail ride. The first was much better. Our guide was on her phone most of the time, it seemed we circled the stable rather than go out on a trail ride and we weren't even gone for the entire hour we paid for.
