This was my 10+ massage and 2nd HydroFacial from the Spalon Montage in Chanhassen. I found JJ when I was pregnant and saw her for Prenatal massages every other week in my 3rd trimester up until I gave birth. I continued to see her postpartum and will only book with her from here on out! She's the highest priced masseuse and for a good reason. My 2nd HydroFacial with Ja'Nice was much more thorough than my first. I felt Ja'Nice really took the time to unclog the most congested areas of my face and I left feeling clean and hydrated! I look forward to booking with both of them again. The Spa has a nice quiet waiting area with a roaring fireplace to keep you calm and cozy. The women's locker room is always clean and I appreciate the complimentary water, tea, and coffee. I enjoy arriving early for my appointments so I can curl up on the couch and read my current book to get Zen. Parking is limited as it is shared with the other tenants in the building, but I haven't had an issue finding a spot. Can't wait to schedule my next treatment!

When I went to the front desk the woman was completely unapologetic and offered no reason for the delay. If I had been 20 minutes late to the appointment as the customer, I would have been charged for the service regardless but they didn't even offer me an explanation, just agreed to let me cancel the appointment. Their attitudes were so careless, I'll never go back.

Today was my second visit with my wax specialist, Sara. She's warm, personable and knows her stuff. She had a shadow with her last month but today she was by herself. At both appts she did a mini consult (eyebrows) to make sure what I wanted with my shape. We have a game plan going forward to grow them out. Before and after treatment I was handed a mirror to point out areas that need attention and also to approve the final results. Waxing is not completely pain free but it's way more bearable compared to waxing at a hair salon. I typically use powder to fill in my brows. She showed me new products they offer to help with fly away hairs (eyebrow gel). They also offer baby powder and calming cream after your waxing service. After I was done, I was escorted back to the lobby to get preappointed and potentally leave gratuity. Making an appt is easy by phone or app. I purchase a service package and preappt for $$ perks. I get billed in 3 installments for Buy 9, Get 3 free...and then I'm good for the year. I get text confirmations and appt reminders. Due to covid, they prefer that you text when you arrive and wait in your car until your wax specialist is available. The facility is clean and modern. White walls/ floors with pops of red and black. Each room is similar. There is a stool, shelf and hook in the corner to place your belongings. There is a long table to lay on, with paper liner for cleanliness between clients. Even though it's a flat table, I find it relaxing to just lie back and close my eyes and get pampered.

I called over three weeks early to make the appointment and was told she was off that week. When I explained my situation they had the spray tan woman call me. She said the only way she would be willing to come in that week was if someone else made an appointment. I just called Groupon and got my money back after that.

It was very easy to book an appointment and they have great business hours. I noticed when I got home I had several brown spots which I thought was bruising on my legs but realized it was wax and I was able to scrub it off in the shower. I noticed that there were still hairs in my underarms and bikini area, almost all of which were long so that's puzzling. There were a few dried wax spots in my intergluteal cleft that I had to pull off in the shower which was uncomfortable. The studio is new and they just opened in August. With time likely they will get better.

Went to the MOA location looking to get what I could for skincare advice since I'm dealing with some new breakouts and don't think it's too serious for a dermatologist. Chris, one of the employees working that night, helped me out right away. He was very eager to help, knowledgeable about all products and skincare in general, and honest about how I should deal with the breakouts and what they actually meant for my skin type. He was more than impressive. To top his awesome advice, I told him I was not ready to purchase all of what he recommended today. He said that was no issue and provided SOME, but not all [didn't have it or out of stock] samples to me in order to see how they worked for my skin. I thought was more than above and beyond. He went to the skincare stars and back! I will be trying out all products [which I really only hear great things about, including celebs who could buy any product they wanted] and reporting back to the employees at this store because I know they'll give me great feedback.
