My research has piqued my interest to trying Rhonda Allison products for ethnic skin. But Megan has sold me on giving her a try for "results driven" facials. Megan impressed me initially by sharing her knowledge and reasoning behind the products used. She definitely embodies the definition of a customized facial based off whatever reason brought you in her studio mixed with the recommendations that she has from what she notices. I appreciate this honesty. I personally do not use 3x mirrors because I can't handle what I might see. So I expect my esthetician to manage the horror and make me have Gabrielle-Union-like skin without having to drink a gallon of water a day. Is this too unreasonable? Apparently not, because Megan has convinced me that she can deliver. For my custom facial she used a high frequency wand to zap my milia and other skin issues. It was such a warming feeling to find her using this machine because I JUST purchased one but was afraid to use it because I didn't want to shock myself or cause any skin damage. She eagerly showed me how to use the device and informed me that it was a recommendation she usually gave to her ethnic clients, as well. Score for Heather for being proactive! I knew all my Amazon impulse buys would come in handy one day. In addition to an amazing facial, she gives neck, shoulder, and FOOT massages. I have never had a foot massage as part of my facial so give me a second while I rejoice... (Hallelujah!!!) For logistics, Aesthetic Skin Salon is located inside Sola Salons (next to The Original Pancake House). GPS will probably send you to Target but it is located behind the Target shopping center. As others have noted, Palm Beach Tan - Eden Prairie practices highway robbery. It's a classic case…read moreof bait-and-switch. Back in 2018, I signed a contract for their "Tan Stay & Save Program." I haven't returned to the tanning salon since then. However, from 2018 to 2022, I was being charged $5/month, which was credited to my store account. Today, I saw on my bank account that I was still being charged the $5 monthly fee for an accrued total of $200+!! I was shocked and furious because no one from Palm Beach Tan ever contacted me to ask when I would be returning and to remind me of the $5 monthly fee. I returned to the salon and signed a Notice of Cancellation to finally stop the $5 monthly charge. Their sales practice is unethical. Not only that, but the employees are obviously trained to peddle the various tanning products and rope people into buying endless memberships. Their high pressure sales tactics are worse than used car salespeople. I will never, ever return to Palm Beach Tan. Buyer beware!!
