This then led to both of them needing to heat up their wax which took up more time too as the other esthetician requested some of my esthetician's wax while I awkwardly stood in the corner of the room waiting to undress. They both were very kind but it was really a let down because I was on a tight schedule today and the whole appointment took 30 minutes when it typically should take 10-15. ABOUT SERVICE: I have gotten a brazilian multiple times before at other places and have done so much research on how it is done, and the way it was being done to me was incredibly painful and caused irritation. Not only was the wax being applied while not melted enough, the esthetician was spreading the wax in all directions and lifting the stick which tugged and caused a lot of discomfort for me. She then applied a strip and pulled in all directions instead of against the grain. This caused wax to continue to stick onto my skin where she repeatedly tried to use the strip to stick and pull off wax (this caused major discomfort to me skin even after I left). After the waxing she used tweezers to get majority of the leftover hair (thankfully), but then proceeded to just put powder on my skin and said I was done. I got home with wax still sticky on my skin and discomfort when urinating and wiping even hours after the appointment. This would have been a completely different story if it was one or the other, but being late and doing an improper service really bummed me out and I hope my skin heals soon. I just really wanted good service and hope people see this and do some more research before committing!

What I find to be absolutely ridiculous is the fact my lash artist refused to work me in when I reported losing multiple lashes on both eyes due to my lash schedule being thrown off by a whimsical vacation she decided to take. Everyone deserves to take a vacation, however the business owner/lash artist should also consider accommodating their client when they report losing multiple lashes in one week because their over due for a fill! Verses expecting them to wait over a week until their next scheduled appointment! I was told " I have nothing, I'm really busy fitting people in since my vacation". "I absolutely appreciate you, I appreciate all my ladies to the fullest". "I just wish there were more hours in the day". After receiving that response via email, I felt far from an appreciated customer who always kept scheduled appointments, referred others and left a generous gratuity in her hand every two weeks! I showed up early and she got me in early, which was great! I planned on wearing a swimsuit but she said a lot of women go topless, so I did. Erica made me feel totally comfortable and the process was very quick and only took about 5 minutes. It was my first time going to this salon so it was 50% off and only ended up costing 20 dollars! I followed all after-care instructions and wore dark loose fitting clothes home and didn't do anything the rest of the day except lounge at home..but I still ended up with weird uneven streaks on my hands and wrists. It wasn't as bad as when I got a spray tan by a machine (mystic or norvell) and the rest of my tan looked great, but I just wish the tops of my hands and wrists looked more natural.

The spray tan artist was great at asking me questions - if I burn easily, if my tone runs more cool or warm, what I was looking for, etc. She nailed my color and made me feel so comfortable during the session! The tan lasted me through the bachelorette party and into the next week - which worked out since I had a surprise engagement! All of my pictures looked so natural and glowy.
