If I'm a student or teacher or city employee or medical professional or first responder or clergy or whatever family day means, I have a special day when I get 50% off. So that's $3.50. In order for me, the veteran, to save $3.50 I have to spend $35. I appreciate them giving 50% off to all those wonderfully deserving groups but as a Veteran, I'm not going to spend that much money to save $3.50. And I'm insulted that they feel I should. Their drinks are very nice and overall not as expensive as the industry standard but to me it's not worth the slap in the face. FYI, Lake City has a Veterans Hospital and a Veterans domiciliare. $7 50% = $3.50 10% = $.70 x 5 = $3.50 $7 x 5 = $35.00

It comes with a bowl of side salad with a delicious maple balsamic dressing, a blueberry muffin, and a slice of tomato and lettuce on the plate. The quiche has a nice, homemade crust that's surprising light and just pure goodness. The burger bowl was a deconstructed burger without the bun. I got it with grilled chicken, and it was, of course, cooked to perfection. Juicy and flavorful, which is hard to achieve for most places. The salad was fresh, and the homemade Grumpy's sauce was delicious as well. The waitress was sweet. Service was on point. Price is good. Place is nicely decorated and clean. Both this place and the town of Madison has exceeded our expectations. We will for sure come back when we're around next year.

Then the toddler couple start talking about politics while not paying but walking away from the cashier and coughing all over the merchandise. The cashier needed to control the room. You see someone waiting to check out 3x longer than they were shopping and the couple isn't ready to close the sale? Make the couple talking step aside. Luraville Country Store would be a typical rural gas station/general store like many others across…read morethe South, except for two things: their breakfasts are the stuff of legends and they are a spiritual home to the cave diving community, being near Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park and numerous other Florida cave diving sites. Taking advantage of that fame, they have a great map of the region's springs painted on the north side of the building itself and a painted map of the area's caves on a tabletop inside the breakfast area. They have awesome (super-sugary) sweet tea and know a lot of the local lore and are on a first-name basis with some of the world's top cave divers and photographers. Check them out if you're in the area and need a candy bar, potato chips, or the like.
