As a repeat customer, I contacted 50floor to replace two rooms flooring. The sales representative that came out was very polite and professional. When the installers came to install, I was told that the under floor was uneven and I need to pay almost another additional one thousand dollars after the carpet and previous flooring was removed before they would install the new floor. With my floors turn up, and furniture stacked up I had no choice. They called the office and I had a discussion with a very disrespectful, nasty customer service person. Ok, so the need to repair underfloor was ok, and the cost was overpriced to fix, BUT the customer service was NOT acceptable. This business 50floor need to remember that continued repeat business and customer satisfaction are tied to courtesy and politeness of their customer service. Give this company a shot!!!!!! Reps (ask for Spencer) were friendly knowledgeable and what they said is exactly what was done. Also in the time frame they allotted for. I had a contractor hired for 4 months prior I had to fire due to all talk and they did what needed to to done in record time. I met with them, went over pricing, agreed, ordered floors on Thursday , floors came in following Tuesday, old hard woods removed Thursday and new floors installed Friday. That's service!!!!!! 50 Floor is a JOKE!!! I invested over $11K on LVP flooring less than 2 years ago. The flooring initially looked really good. Towards the end of the installation warranty (1 year), I noticed that one of the planks had begun to separate on one end. I notified 50 Floor and a technician came out with a rubber mallet and a tube of super glue. You can imagine how he fixed the separation. That plank is fine. Fast forward to end of 2023..I have gaps throughout my home. These gaps are increasing in number and size. Some as large as 1/8"! And some are even in an area that is not even used! I called 50 Floor about this and got their canned speech about their 1 year warranty on installation. (I wonder why did they immediately assume that it was and installation issue?) I asked if they would send someone out to look at the problem and possible fixes. At that time I was willing to pay for the repairs. I was told that they would get back to me, that was, in Jan and I'm still waiting on that call. All I wanted was experienced eyes on my floor. I decided to call them back to schedule an install. Call back & appointment right away (imagine that). When the sales rep came out, he saw my floors and was shocked at the condition my floors were in after such a short period. And even more shocked at the lack of support I was receiving from 50 Floor. He reported back to his team and at that point I was told that they were turning it over to the flooring manufacturer. They stated that it would take 3 weeks to hear from them. That was 2 months ago!!!! Final thoughts on 50 Floor..If you're thinking about flooring and you see their commercial; CHANGE THE CHANNEL! Had my granddaughter floor done last year. 50 floor completed the work the base birds where stained from the materials that where used and they did not leave the correct gap between the LVP and the wall so that when the LVP expands, it doesn't buckle or pop loose which it did. I called the company and they sent someone out to my house to look at the floor and they told me I MUST have had a water leak . I said how and when. That was a lie no one every time credit for the improper work and now a year later I have a floor that look horrible. This has been reported to the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! read more

WASTED 8 WEEKS OF MY TIME...AND NO FLOORING!!!Initially asked if LVP Luxury Vinyl Plank product was readily available before I put my $2300 deposit down. I was told it was available and could be installed 3 days later. Yes! I was happy so I paid the $2300. A day later got a message product was back ordered to May 11th that's 4 wks later. Carpeting arrives on 11th, installer out the 12th and says it can't be installed due to epoxy coated floor. Area Manager, Retention Mgr, Customer Support Mgr. PLUS Area General Mgr. gets involved and says it can be done. 2nd installer comes out 2 wks later and says NO it can't be installed. Now I know I'm dealing with a bunch of 'incompetent' ppl that don't know their product or installation requirements. I was so frustrated and angry that this company WASTED MY TIME- 8 wks worth of futility dealing with idiots. OVERPRICED!! read more

Well, our Saga with 50Floor is finally OVER! It took them an additional 69 days and 6 more trips out to our house to provide the finished product that their Salesmen sold to us. After dealing with the local Garner office with little progress (if they even called back) I had to run this up the chain at the corporate office. After finally getting the corporate office to agree to make repairs to their sub-par install they first tried to hit me with what I believe to be an illegal gag order trying to silence my reviews of them and remove past reviews. This type of speech is protected by the Consumer Protection act of 2010. I love the product. I got carpet and vinyl. The sales rep was friendly and helpful, Charles, and the install crew was phenomenal (Ontoros (not sure if that is right) Aldo and Victor). Done quickly and in one day. I only give a four star bc when I was ordering I asked about 6lb padding and was told that was average people went with that and I accepted Charles' word for it but there doesn't feel like there is any padding under my carpet. I'm just one of the many terrible reviews in here, so that makes it clear what their service, quality, and value are. Find someone else. It's pretty clear what they think about their customers. I'm incredibly disappointed with how 50 floor has handled a huge problem with my floors. Let's start with, my floors are 3 years old! I have spent $10,000+ on their product throughout my whole house. When put in they, assured me of all these great warranties they had. NOT the case. Their inspector, and customer service reps assured me that it would be corrected, due to manufacturing. That my moisture levels in my house were within normal range (IT IS). Now they're saying it is moisture on my slab (IT IS NOT). So dishonest and more worried about their pocket book. I should have payed more attention to reviews. Now I have to jump through hoops on something that should be corrected- based on good costumer service. That doesn't exist for them. You should know that going in. Also, their crappy products are causing safety concerns. I have two kids under the age of 5, and the floors are peeling up through out the house. My upstairs isn't on a slab. Do not use 50 floor. The people dealing with my claim said that everything would be fixed. Now they're saying they would have never said that and that "sure, we'll fix it. At a cost to you." Mind you!! I spent $14,000 dollars on their crap floors only 3 years ago! Communication is key. I did not request a written confirmation of my verbal changes with my sales person. He did not make the change. The final installation requires a check and balance. The installation team should replace everything - leaving only the existing floorboard - without demand. I made repeated requests to remove existing carpet nail holders around the room. Install new nail boards, padding, and carpet should never be an issue. I made several demands to remove the nail boards and had to stop all progress to have it taken up. There was still some remaining that I just didn't have the energy to continue the disagreement. Keep your word. I was told 7-10days for scheduling and installation. On day 12 I called the scheduling department. Was given a 30 day out date!!! This whole process ended with repeated calls and renewed commitments- I even received my deposit back - after the installation!!! I was told my order had been canceled per my request - contradicting the sales person written notice of no refund after 3 days!! This is an absolute mess. I now have a check and the wrong color carpet installed!!! So sad I ever called 50Floor!!! read more

Non English speaking installers came and didn't understand that the flooring should run the same as the kitchen flooring. Common sense should have kicked in if they didn't understand. I keep trying to reach the General Manager that they say I have to speak with and first they told me I would be contacted in 24-48 hours, so I waited...... NOTHING! I called back after 48 hours and they claimed someone had "tried" to reach me, but was not able to leave a voicemail. MY VOICEMAIL WAS CLEAR!!!! Now when I call the GM is either on another call or out to lunch or out of the office! Definitely should have done more research before using them! Terrible business practice! If the installers cannot communicate, they will screw up every time! Very disappointed! I want the situation corrected or refund my money so it can be done correctly! read more

Pro: My sales person Erin was very pleasant to work with. Upon his visit he was able to provide us some great samples that was a bit overwhelming because this was our first experience with a home project of this sort. After making our selection scheduling the job was a breeze and timely. Leandro and his team arrived promptly and knocked it out. They were professional and knowledgeable of installing the product. The color of my selection went very well with my cabinets. Great job 50 floors with a special shout-out to Leanardo and his crew. Con: I suggest that when sales are doing home estimates that an installation team member should also be onsite. Also when estimate is given it should account for previous floors to be glued down. Half my baseboards were removed as well as half the flooring when I called 50 floor to install lvp. They made me install the baseboards before flooring would be installed. This made it need quarter round everywhere. The quarter round they supplied is TWICE the size of what was here initially. It's HUGE and looks terrible because it looks WAY over sized. However, the baseboards were removed from laundry room, floor installed, baseboards reinstalled on top of the flooring. No quarter round was needed and it looks 100 times better than the rest of the house. Installation crew was awesome and did a great job, but had to use the quarter round supplied by 50 floor. I expressed my hatred of the quarter round also to the 50 floor office repeatedly. Was pretty much told, too bad, that's what we use. I would have much rather removed all the baseboards than have this huge ugly quarter round everywhere. If you do not want quarter round (since it's huge and ugly), you don't HAVE TO as I was told, you can just have the installation crew install the lvp with the baseboards removed, then the baseboards will rest very nicely on top eliminating the need for this eyesore. Salesman Tom would've made it 5 stars. Installation crew, led by Daniel, would've made it 5 stars. The 'powers that be' zero. I got 3 quotes and 50 floor was the lowest but only by approx $500. Check the quarter round used by each company. It's barely discussed by any of them, more of an after thought, but is the one thing that turned this from an awesome job into me hating the look of it. read more

I had 50 Floor install laminate flooring in my home. I told the salesman I wanted it to match the existing engineered wood floors in the living room . The salesman gave me a initial price of $8.000 for three small rooms and a short hallway and he finally agreed to $5,000. What he installed was cheap laminate with just a blue moisture barrier, the floor has a extremely loud noise when you drop anything on it. I called the company and filed a complaint and they sent Mario to my home and he reported back that it was up to standards. The person at the company was suppose to make further contact with me and after almost a month I have not heard anything. I only used these people because they are backed by Dale Cardwell . Worst carpet installers, ever!!!! Not only did they knick up every piece of furniture they moved, but also our stair casings! They sent 3 men the first day....a four man job as we were doing our entire upstairs! Only worked 5 hours & then left. Second day, only two of them. Our kingsized bedframe was NOT put together correctly & my husband & I are senior citizens, 80 & 75, so there is no way we can move the mattress by ourselves. They KNEW it wasn't right, but were so anxious to leave they didn't care. We have basically about killed ourselves having to move furniture back the way it was, again they just don't care & don't ask!!! Needless to say, we would never recommend them to anyone!!!! On top of all of that, we were, accidently charged full price up front, so, of course we had no leverage. read more

Pretty much the worst experience ever which is sad as I am a repeat customer. Had a great experience 6 years ago. Went back now for a total flooring replacement for the entire house. 3800 sq. ft. of LVP and carpet. Manager who bid the job measured wrong...... not enough materials to complete the job on installation day. Now almost 2 weeks later .... multiple calls and messages to the office...... no return call and no ETA on when they will complete the work....... Oh well....... I owe them the additional 50% at completion...... I'm guessing sooner or later they will want their $7000 and might return a phone call........ Move on folks...... find a local mom and pop that cares about their reputation and use them...... I wish I had. Almost a month later..2 missed appointments and one appointment where again..... a tech was sent out wit 1/3 of the materials I needed and unable to complete the job.... beyond all comprehension as to how Andi in scheduling still has her job... We hired 50 floor for both carpeting and new flooring. The carpet job was perfect. Our salesman Lionel was awesome. Scheduling was accurate and easy. Installers did a great job. The flooring was a little different experience. Although again, Lionnel was outstanding, the install did not go very well. Once they had our old floors ripped up, I was told we needed floor leveler and this would be an extra $1400. They said they charge us less other contractors for this. There is a small, hard to find and very vague clause in the paperwork saying that leveler might be extra. No indication of cost is offered. They wait till you have your floor completely torn up with installer standing there to tell you that it will be an extra $1400 to proceed. This is a sleazy tactic. Plus, installer broke our window. He did end up fixing it but it took over a week read more

He was pleasant and great to work with. The sub contractors from RUK Flooring Contractors, LLC came out to do the install. They called ahead to let me know how far out they were form arrival. They got here exactly as promised. Keyla, the owner, did the walk thru with me before the install to make sure they had the correct areas to install the floors, she went over the process, and showed me the flooring before install to make sure it was the correct color. Think twice before you choose to work with this company!!! ...This product (vinyl plank) was recommended for people with pets in case the pets have accidents, but approximately 2 years after installation at the top of the stairs the vinyl peeled away in 2 very thin strips 13 inches long and 9 inches long by less than a quarter inch in width. The floor is uneven there with about 3 inches in the middle which didn't peel off. It is also worth mentioning that this is an area near the top edge of my indoor staircase, where the installer cut a plank to fit. In talking to customer service I was told there was a moisture problem (they said maybe a pet had peed there-on either side but not in the middle 3 inches...) and the repair/replacement of this thin strip of product and installation are not covered. For $450.00 they said that they would repair it! I had planned to have additional rooms installed using the vinyl plank but due to this awful customer service and poor (apparently "moisture-sensitive") product quality, and dishonest advertising, I will not be using 50 floor to do so. I strongly discourage anyone who is interested in purchasing this product, advertised as "great for pets!" The 50 Floor company is dishonest. read more

I scheduled installation of flooring about a week ago. I was given an estimate on two different laminates and both were reasonably priced. Needless to say my install was today. My installation team was here promptly at 8a, they gave me a call with an estimated arrival time. They finished by 3:10p for my walk through. I am very impressed with their work. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. The clean-up was great, the team lead (Leandro) made sure I was satisfied with everything.
