They tried to buy a car from me for way below fair market trade-in and reportedly had a buyer ready to take it off their hands at an excessive profit. They tried to convince me to have work done on my car that it didn't need, and they withheld information about something that was going to break down and would have cost far more to fix after than before a breakdown. I have no confidence in these people.

Car was busted and there was not a single rental car in the whole town. The mechanic tried desperately to fix us up while we waited in the waiting room - all 7 of us. Andy, our service writer, came to our rescue. He was able to reschedule someone else's service so that we could use the courtesy car to get our crew back home. The level of service he showed, as well as the other employees, was superior. They made the best of our desperate situation. They really went the extra mile for us and we are very grateful!

No help, no responsibility. Not even a basic courtesy. This place will smile to your face, take your money, and disappear the moment you need support. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Placed a call to Lodi Shell not expecting an answer but was incredibly surprised by the positive tone and urgency that Bryan responded. He was incredibly quick, took less than 20 minutes just as he provided as an ETA. He quickly used the battery pack to start car. After hearing we had over 100 miles to our next destination, he said he would be hesitant to drive that far due to possible damage to alternator. He said he would be happy to check if they had the correct battery. We followed him back to the shop in Lodi, he quickly found the correct battery and changed 100 times faster than I could have done it. Not only was Bryan an incredibly nice guy, he also talked about how he really liked working for the owner (don't hear that much nowadays) and the generous support the owner provided to the community. 100% recommend Lodi Shell!
