It's a boat-shaped bread filled with melted cheese and topped with an egg that's mixed in while it's hot, making every bite rich and cheesy. I also tried the Armenian pizza, a thin, crispy flatbread topped with finely seasoned minced meat. It doesn't have cheese, but it's packed with flavor and definitely worth trying if you want something different. The calzone was thick, hearty, and loaded with meat and cheese. We don't get to treat ourselves with this dish very often as we would like unless we are in Los Angeles, but to discover it here in Fresno is like hitting the jackpot! I ordered a XL MVP (it is 18", same size as Costco) and let me tell you, they did not skimp on the toppings and it was not greasy at all. The ordering process was simply. The pizza was done quickly. The pizza was fresh with the perfect taste. The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and crisp, even after cooking. The place was very clean. The gentleman at the register was great. I called a couple times before I ordered and he was able to answer my questions. If you like the valley "favorite" you will love this. Besides the food, another pleasant aspect is the friendly & accommodating staff. The pizza crust is thin & will come out crisp on request. The meats & 'shrooms all seem to be sliced thinner than most pizza joints, but they cover the dough generously which makes each bite include most of the flavors.
