Here for lunch. They've got a special everyday that includes a drink, appetizer. and your meal that has your choice of chicken or beef lula, rice pilaf or bulgar and bell pepper. Just heard that this restaurant just opened last week. Good value for the meal. Another plus for me was a quiet environment and clean.

By far the best! You just have to try. I would call ahead sometimes the owners have catering jobs or private party's scheduled. Owners are hospitable and even offered us some wine in the house.

So I stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday completely by accident. I've been craving Mediterranean food for a while but only knew of the broilers and I definitely didn't want to drive down to the nearest one wherever it may be. Any who, Yerevan is on the shopping center next to mine so I decided to go in and try it out. They have a lunch special for 8.99 and for all the yummy food I receivedI say that is quite a deal! I highly recommend Yerevan and they have a new loyal customer!

Excellent food with generous serving, this platter comes with drink n 2 sides and it's 8.99 ,food tastes amazing.well cooked and great service. It's halal n seating place is neat and clean. This is picture of takeaway platter. A must try if you are in that area.

    Great deal!

Great food! Got the chicken kabab special with bulgar and it was delicious! It even came with 1 piece of dolma & a few sides. The service was the best I've seen in quite some time. They were very welcoming. The only thing I didn't care for is the garlic sauce. It was a bit bitter & thinner than I'm used to. Normally, I would be really bummed because I LOVE garlic sauce, but the food was so good that I didn't even need it. Highly recommend trying! Will be going back!

Amazing mediterranean food. The staff is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. I usually have the chicken or beef kebab plate. The portions are generous and the flavors are amazing! Go try it for yourself!

The food was amazing!! The staff were welcoming made our group feel like we were in a high end restaurant. Will definitely go again.

    Ask the Community - Yerevan

Are they still open or closed down for good?

Closed down for good to the public. Catering only, as of visit to the restaurant on Aug. 12, 2023.

Do they cater? I need catering to the Bay area?

Yes they do. I used them and the food was fantastic and super reasonably priced.

We had lula kebab (juicy and tasty) with some of the best pilaf I've had in a restaurant setting.

Honest Review The…read morefood was honestly pretty mid. The pasta tasted mid and was a little disgusting, and it didn't really have much flavor. The burger was okay but definitely overcooked and not very juicy. It was missing some flavor. The garlic fries were probably the best thing we ordered. The hibiscus lemonade was decent, and the mocktail we got was actually really good. As for the service, some of the staff were really nice and welcoming, but I did feel a little uncomfortable toward the end. When I asked if I could pay with cash instead of card, I got the impression that the person seating us assumed I was going to leave a tip and seemed disappointed when I clarified that I was just paying cash. I also felt like some of the servers were giving us an attitude afterward because we didn't tip. Overall, tipping is a personal choice, and I don't think customers should feel judged or pressured because of it. Some of the staff were genuinely kind, but unfortunately the food and the experience weren't enough for me to want to come back.

The food was absolutely fabulous, but what truly made the evening special was our waitress, Anne. Anne has a cheerful, professional personality that immediately made us feel welcome. She was attentive, friendly, and helped make our family celebration feel extra special. She checked on us throughout the meal, anticipated our needs, and always did so with a genuine smile. Celebrating a 92nd birthday is a memorable occasion, and Anne played a big part in making it such a joyful experience. Outstanding service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere--we couldn't have asked for a better evening. Thank you, Anne, and the entire Pismo's team for helping us create such a special memory for Grandma! Happy 91nd Birthday to Grandma! What a wonderful milestone to celebrate with family.

QUICK TAKE Get: Blackened Salmon Tacos Skip: Ultimate Combo Louie, Shrimp Cocktail, Grilled Alaskan Halibut Know: Several of the seafood dishes tasted dry or tired, and the meal did not feel worth the price. The only thing I would recommend is the Blackened Salmon Tacos. They come with fire-roasted salsa, avocado, cabbage-cilantro slaw, pico de gallo and lime crema. These had much better flavor, texture, and balance than the rest of our meal. Unfortunately, the other seafood was where things really fell apart. Ultimate Combo Louie: This comes loaded with jumbo prawns, shrimp and Dungeness crab, so at $38 I expected it to feel like a premium seafood salad. It didn't. The seafood lacked freshness and the shrimp in particular were soft and soggy. Shrimp Cocktail: Probably the most disappointing item. The shrimp tasted old and had a limp, waterlogged texture instead of being firm and fresh. Grilled Alaskan Halibut: At $42, this should have been one of the highlights. Instead, the fish was dry and overcooked, which is especially frustrating with a piece of halibut at this price. Hoisin Brussels Sprouts: Way too sweet for me. The sweetness completely overwhelmed the Brussels sprouts instead of complementing them.

I would have to start with this is definitely not JPot. If you think that you're coming here for…read morethe same experience, you're definitely are not going to get the same thing. Yes it's soup but beyond that the experience in the presentation is completely different. It was a little quieter and more laid-back it felt a little bit more upper class. I feel like I would have to come here two or three times to fully find what my favorite things are. I tried the spicy miso broth. But if I come back, I'll get something different and I'll probably have to try a few before I end up finding my exact favorite. The experience here was more about timing and what you're cooking instead of making a soup with everything in it and then eating it. I would have to say that everything that I had was good. Not really big on tofu and their money bags tasted OK a little bit sweet in the end. The corn was really sweet to me. I like both of the mushroom types that they had their my wife only liked one of the two. My broth came out amazing. I added cilantro, green onion, and their hoisin sauce along with some lime. We also got Ramen noodle. It didn't seem like it was gonna be a lot of food. I felt like we were gonna be hungry by the time we got done eating everything. But it turned out in the end we were both full and not needing anymore. I would say this is a little bit more expensive than JPot. But I think this would be a nicer place to bring a date to overall experiences and presentation is better. I would say the service here was really good. We were well taken care of. I always say that you should make reservations if you're gonna come. We walked in when it didn't look like it was full or busy, but we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. At least there's a little bit to walk around and do around here so you have other shops and places to see if you have to wait. Overall, I would give this a five star review. But my honest opinion is I would rather eat at JPot. But I might only be saying that because I have my favorites over there and I didn't leave here creating a favorite in my mind. I left here thinking next time I come back. I'm gonna try different stuff. Again everything is good

Food wise though, I thought it was just okay. The Tonkotsu broth was pretty bland and lacked the richness/flavor I was expecting. The Taiwanese Signature broth was definitely better and had much more flavor, but overall I still wasn't blown away by the food. For the amount you're paying, I personally don't think the taste quite matches the price point. I'm glad I tried it and the overall experience was nice, but would I return? Most likely not. Worth trying at least once though!
