Last week my bike was stolen from my garage. Through tipsters I heard that a bike matching my exact description was at this store. I decided to make the trek and visited this shop. As I entered and looked around, I saw what looked like a stockpile of stolen bicycles from all around the city. Mismatched wheels (as if locked up ones couldnt be thieved too), cobbled together parts, and a staff who knew nothing. They didnt know the sizes of the bikes they had- they said said they had some for sale and could move them fast for the right price. IE: we are selling hot stuff and want to get it out of our sketch shop. I was given a story that my bike had been sold 20-minutes before I was in there. The tipsters of social media were correct that my bike had been there...or so it seemed. Don't shop here. They seem like they sell stolen bicycles. One of the workers when I was in there seemed to know nothing about bikes. When asking what they had, wandered around and said. Look around- might have something that could work for you. Unsurprisingly, the name of the shop is not on the shop signage, but the shop has been there for a few years, so I figured I'd check it out. I wanted a re-conditioned used bike for about $150 that I could ride for fun and a few miles to/from work every day. I didn't want anything fancy, just a sturdy bike that would not be tempting fodder for bike thieves. I left with a 1986 5-speed Schwinn, with big knobby tires, pretty much what I was looking for. I am satisfied with the bike I got, for the price I paid, since I didn't pay much, but I wouldn't buy from them again. A few things to note. The policy is "No Returns", but there is also a 60-day "Hey, it's a USED bike" repair policy. I did have to take my bike back for a new inner-tube (bad valve) and adjustment of the derailleur. Since it was within the 60 day period, there was no charge, and they repaired it while I waited. The shop is a bit claustrophobic, with one entrance and just enough room for a bike to be taken back to the repair area. Most of the space is taken up by the bikes for sale. There are also some displayed out on the sidewalk in nice weather. The folks who make the repairs work in the rear end of the showroom, and you can watch them work. (Which I'd strongly suggest.) The repairmen do not take the bikes out on a test run after they finish the repairs. I found this out when I had ride back to the shop after the tube was replaced. (brake pads were rubbing on the rim.) I would not go there for repairs, other than if I got a flat and needed a quick tube replacement while out riding nearby. read more

Testing this bike shop with "integrity." Major epic fail in fair pricing and customer service. Purchased a used Tektro RL721 "used" 1 brake lever $20 (New 2 pair $27.00) Second try and purchased "1" presta valve adapter $2.00 (Purchase anywhere else 5x for less than $2.00) Please, buyers beware of their "Integrity" as a company. Pricing to upsell up to nearly 60-80% in comparison to other bike shop in the area. Employee is another failure for the downfall of this company. Manipulative and foresees buyer as unknowing fools. To each buyers who visits this store keep an open mind and you definitely will draw your own conclusion. No wonder they keep changing the "company" name. BBB should evaluate this store. read more

So I came in today to fix my inner tube. I seen one of the employee struggling to take off the tire off of my bike. Then he handed me the tire and the bead was bent severely and said it was fine knowing it was a safety hazard I asked for replacement tire and then he refused saying that the tire comes like that and that it's part of the design of the rim which is BS, so he kept proceeding he wanted to get into a physical altercation with me. A nearby customer examined the tire and also agreed that it was a safety hazard. Those that want to know the brand of the bike that I have it is a specialized rockhopper which is a fairly expensive bike, The manager came from the back and agreed he would give me a replacement tire and I just have to pay for the inner tube. I'm fairly certain this location has been a bike shop under other names in the past and they had less than reputable reviews. With a new name and positive reviews from one social media site, I concluded new folks are in and the bad business practices left with the previous owners/employees. Meet the new shop. Same as the old shop. After having visited them today, I can tell you they have the perfect name for their store. 5:00pm Monday received message via social media to my initial inquiry "We have a couple X$ bikes that you might like can you come see them?" 5:30pm Monday received reply of "No just ask for the X$ bikes" after I asked "...anyone in particular to ask for?" 6:30pm Monday last message received, no indication bikes have been sold 7:00pm Monday - shop closes 10:00am Tuesday - shop opens 1:45pm Tuesday I arrive at shop, after an hour long mass transit trip, only to be told the bikes have been sold and the cheapest thing they have is 250%X$ If they ever decide to change their name (again), Bait and Switch would be an appropriate name. read more

Went in for a simple tire fix, first I was told it would be $18, then a few minutes later it was $25, then another few minutes later it was $46. Didn't appreciate them keeping increasing the price, as they were already working on taking my bike apart. The price more than doubled from original price quote. Won't go back. If you're looking for overpriced used bikes, parts, equipment, and service this is the place to go. looking around the place you have to be careful of what you purchase. Some bicycles are worth less than the prices attached to them. I own a bike that looks identical to one of their product which cost a hundred dollars more. I asked one of the employees what the difference was and I could tell he was just improvising to raise the price of the bike. I suggest doing some research before entering this bike shop. This is a small bike shop that recently opened. I needed a bicycle repair and this shop was the nearest place. The owner was very nice and did a very fast and good job in repairing my bicycle. The work was excellent and very reasonably priced. The shop also sells used bicycle and the owner will begin also selling new bicycles in the near future. It is nice to have a bike repair shop in the neighborhood. read more

I usually drag my bike to Performance but decided to check out this place a few blocks from my house. I hadn't had a tune-up in a few years so the young men in the store quoting a price of $65, about half the cost of Performance bike. They did a wonderful job. I left the bike and they called a few hours later. There were no additional charges. This is a no frills shop but the staff were all helpful and polite. I will be using them again. read more

The two gentlemen that were working today were so kind and knowledgable. I just needed a tube replaced and mentioned that I should probably learn how to change it myself. They guy changing the tire showed me exactly what he was doing. The guy behind the counter let me know right away how much it would cost before anyone started working on my bike. He was also super friendly and engaged me in conversation while the other guy was making sure I had enough air in my tires. This place is great. The staff is very friendly. It was a little out of my way but I will definitely make the trip from here on out if I have any issues with my bike. read more

GOOD SERVICE! GOOD PEOPLE!! GOOD DEAL!!! I went into 5600 Bikes with a number of small problems messing up my ride: malfunctioning grip shifter, loose brakes & a wobbly tire, just to name a few. Since there were so many little issues, they just quoted me their price for a tune-up & told me that if there were any other repairs needed, they'd let me know any other charges. I was so desperate to get my bike back in shape as soon as possible, they could've easily gouged me for a replacement rim, a new shifter handle & other extra parts & services. Instead, they trued my rim, fixed my old grip shift & simply tightened up a few things. Plus, I went in before the busy season, so they got it back to me the next day! After that, the bike been as good as new! Which is sweet!! Also, it cost about half as much I was expecting!! Which is extra sweet!!! read more

Very good people. Very good selection of bikes. I went there on Saturday August 15 2015 to purchase a bike since I thought the one I traded in was a little too small, they gave me a fair trade in price and a fair price on the full suspension mountain bike i chose. Took the new bike for a test ride before buying it and noticed the rear brake shoes were worn pretty much. Mentioned it to them and they gladly replaced them. When i bought it. I was told it has a warranty. Sunday morning I tried to go for a ride and noticed the bike was having shifting problems, took it in this morning and they gladly took care of the issues. They told me if it has any more shifting issues to bring it back and they will take care of it, and they took care of it today while I waited... CANNOT ASK FOR ANY BETTER SERVICE. I will gladly return for any needed service when needed even AFTER the warranty expires and plan on purchasing my next bike there plus recommend them to my friends read more
