After reviewing Yelp reviews 5 star Pizza caught my attention. I was really hoping to experience their pizza , but unfortunately when calling in order I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. Then after trying to call back (maybe they forgot me ? ) multiple times there was a no answer then the last try I got an answer then I was hung up on .... Maybe they are having phone issues ? Finally! A worthy pizza place in the Visalia area!! This pizza is awesome! Not only is their standard pepperoni pizza amazing, but they have some creative pizzas which blew away my expectations! Traveling through the area and family wanted pizza. We got two mediums for a hungry family of four and had a couple slices left. The meat lovers pizza had plenty of toppings and was a solid choice. Crust was crispy on the bottom and chewy inside. We also tried the chicken tikka masala pizza. Was pretty tasty and had a nice flavor and had plenty of veggies and chicken. The sauce was good but leaked through the box. No stars removed though. Very good choice, if a bit messier than expected. Staff was pleasant both on the phone and in person. We ordered 5 star pizza this evening for the first time. Wow, this is delicious pizza and we have discovered our new favorite pizza place. Both My husband and I are so happy - he ordered pepperoni and I ordered the veggie pizza - it really was full of fresh flavor the crust was fluffy and yummy. Normally we only eat 2 pieces - but tonight we had to eat 3. A bonus - all the staff was friendly and helpful - our delivery girl was so sweet and respectful. WOW WOW WOW!!! I really wish I could give 10 stars. Probably the best pizza I've ever had. The chicken was so tender and it wasn't processed at all. It is fresh white meat. I created my own: mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, chicken & cilantro. It gives a nice kick! Even ordering the pizza was easy and the girl who helped me was friendly & fast. The delivery guy was so nice, he even mentioned he's been doing this for 14 years. He must really love his job, you can tell. I've been eating Me 'n Ed's since I was a kid....saw their Mooney location got 2 stars so I looked up other reviews and thought I'd try 5 star since people left amazing reviews. Update.... Went to pick my pizza an the added a new flavor. Hot Cheetos pizza! I made a comment that is one I will try next time. The owner said they had just made one for themselves and insisted I have a piece. Begrudgingly I did and yes....it was pretty darn good. If you like cheese and hot cheetos you are going to like this. As always, 5Star pizza is a great pizza and the crust is awesome. This is also a great leftover pizza and the crust does not turn into cardboard. Make this one of your go to pizza places. read more
