The WORST manicure & service I've ever gotten! They refused to give me a refund after they messed up 3 times! It was a mess, polish all over my hands. They demanded I get it fixed and had no choice. They overcharged me at the end, after having the worst experience ever and did not accommodate. I was there for 3 hours just for a manicure and all the crap they made me go through! This place is hit or miss. The lady decided to use black underneath the chrome (showed a pic of hot pink chrome and it came out purple-ish) and this is how it looks after one day. She was also filing my cuticles, as you can see they look terrible. I paid $70 for this fill. read more

Everything about this salon is YES! It's clean, friendly, well organized and so far I have to say is the best outcome on my nails to date. I'm 38 now so that's a lot of dates! Tim is the man! He officially has done the best job ever on my nails twice now. He is very busy so make an appointment but so far he gets me in on time and same day I make the appointment. He is ridiculously fast but very detail oriented and really perfects it effortlessly. This is truly his art :) Helen did my pedicure this past visit and did a beautiful job on my French. I like this nail salon, i think they have alot of talented nail tech's! I come here when i'm in town because they're the best I've found in Boca thus far... Today I went to Miley & overall she was good and super articulate. My only complaint is that she was extremely rough with my natural nails. She definitely just focuses on what she's doing and not the comfort of the customer or the health of the nails. The shape of my pointer fingers are kind of whacky but the others are good. I'm just nervous for the next time i get the dip removed, my nails are so thin and brittle now. read more

Most likely to get an infection coming here. They are highly staffed which is good when it's busy but that also comes with lack of cleanliness. When I came for a pedicure I was rushed to a seat which wasn't covered or seeming to be cleaned. The tech instructed me to put my feet directly on the ledge instead of on a fresh towel which I felt uncomfortable about. Next the massage was incredibly painful and not relaxing (I did mention to do lighter pressure) the tech was nice and I feel bad it just seems like a place that rushes them to get through clients. Wish it was more of a clean and relaxing experience. The pedicure itself also I have some cuts around my cuticles which I don't have normally as I do routine pedicures. Not sure if I'll be back but it was definitely somewhere to go if you want a super quick pedicure. read more

I will never go to another nail place again! 5th Avenue Nails is consistent with the quality and care they have for your nails, insanely talented nail techs, and a fun atmosphere! I always get my nails done with Bang, and he's amazing at nail art! I have never been unhappy with any of my nails from here, and they're not as expensive as other places! The places I used to go to would take 2+ hours to do my nails, but I haven't had that issue here! It's impressive how fast they work and still produce amazing quality work that lasts for weeks! All I have to say is if you want a bad quality service and treatment go here. If not save your time and money... I removed the last set I had on cause my nail bed was hurting so bad. Upon removal I see I have a fungus and the tip they put on ate at my nail bed... not sure what kind of dirty equipment they are using here but I have never had an issue like this at any other nail salon. Most of the techs here are perfectionists, there are only a few that I haven't seen but I've been going here for about three years and have never been disappointed in their work-- only my personal color choices. Eh. I think the service here depends entirely on who is doing your nails. I came here with a friend for pedicures. The woman who did my nails was polite and thorough, really taking her time with each step of the pedicure. However, the woman who did my friend's nails was rude and was not paying attention while working. She was looking behind her and carrying on a conversation with another nail tech, causing her to jab my friend with the nail tool. She was finished much faster than my nail tech was. I never know when I'll have time to get my nails done, so I need to know that I can always walk in and receive quality service. Unfortunately, this is not the place for that. read more

But i will always go to Bang, on both visits he never disappointed. I never leave my acrylics on for more than 2 wks because i usually take them off myself, but i got a fill and i feel so classy lol. Yikes. Hate leaving bad reviews but this one deserves it. My step daughter came in to get her nails done and asked for a pretty design and this is what they came up with. She was too shy to tell them that she didn't like it and came home so unhappy. Be specific about what you want here, and stay with your kids- otherwise they will take advantage. The polish was thick and had bubbles, the design was terrible, some nails resembled a candy cane look in February and they did THICK white lines for it with bare minimum detail. The nails were HUGE AND WIDE. 3 of the nails ripped off and she doesn't play sports or anything like that. This is far from our house and we have 2 other kids and had trouble getting back here so soon but since we came a week later than the manager said we should have, they refused to fix her nails without charging us the regular price (she paid $75!!) minus $5 discount. We just had them remove them at this point (and they charged us $10 to do it!) The place reeks of chemicals which is why I don't even go anymore. Be careful here! I've always had good experiences but this draws the line and we won't be back for sure due to this situation. read more

It depends on who you get as your mail tech. They have great nail techs but they also have really terrible ones. The only reason people really go there is because the prices are cheaper tbh. The atmosphere reminds me of a laundry mat, it's very small. If you want to enjoy your day and relax, just go somewhere else. I only get my finger done here (booked with a specific person) then i go somewhere else to get my feet done so i can relax. read more

This place is great! My friend turned me onto this salon and she is very picky! So I had high expectations but they were exceeded. What I would say sets apart this place from others I've been to in a major way is they really value your time! They are fast!! Tony is amazing and especially fast. He did half my Nexgen standing up while I was getting a pedicure and both hands look the same. (Compared to the one at his desk- including tips, the whole deal). That is true artistry. I was seriously impressed. He's a ninja. None of the quality is compromised either, they look so perfect! Also his wife Katie is the most wonderful person.
