The service was superb! Talked with 4 year bartender and she was awesome! She kept my drinks on full. I want to thank the nice lady for taking great care of us... Miller Lites were ice cold. I ordered the famous 1106er burger and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The 1106 was an old time drive in in Pittsburg for many years. When they closed, 5th st bar got the original grill and still use it today. Our server, Victoria was the best. Attentive and helpful. My friends had the shrimp and the lasagna and they loved it. Took me a year to try 5th street but I am now a huge fan. If I have one ding, I felt for a double shot the drinks were very weak. Would like to watch the pour next time read more

We were here for over 2 hours. Took at least an hour to get our food. Waiters spent their time sitting at the bar flirting with people, did not refill drinks, and when we were done with our food it took about 45 minutes to get our tickets. We had 8 people in our groups and did not separate the items properly. Not a good place to go eat. I love going to 5th street weekly for taco Tuesday! You really can't beat 3 tacos for $1. They also have soft tacos, burritos, taco salad, and a few other options. Also great specials on Corona, Lamdshark, BL lime and Margs! Get a pitcher! It's also great to go watch games! The rest of the menu is pretty good too! Steak tips are awesome! If you get wings, get bone-in, and I recommend the 'phog' sauce. I always sit upstairs. Lots of TVs, seating, and a huge beer selection. read more

It's a dive. And it's great, always happy with the food, bartenders are always freindly, and it's easy to lose track of time and relax. Upstairs is nice too, with another bar, and more seating. Only thing I'd change is adding a jukebox. read more

Stopped in for lunch with a co-worker I ordered a club sandwich and she order a chicken Philly both with sweet potato fries. The chicken philly had no flavor, the club came out untoasted, and the sweet potato fries were super burnt. I would not recommend this establishment for food. read more

If you want a good beer on tap, 5th street is the place to go. They have a upstairs area if the downstairs area is full. 5th Street has good menu specials during the weekdays. I believe their fries are hand cut and not frozen. read more

The service is at best sub par. I have been here a lot and can never say that even once I have had good service. The waiting staff is not outgoing or friendly and barely come check on you. I've gotten served wings that were raw on the inside. Their consistency with serving the same portions is laughable. The tacos are good but that would be hard to mess up. Please speak to your staff about how friendliness goes a long way. Also one of the waitresses openly told the person I was with in front of table how her and her coworkers drink all the time while at work. And tell those girls to wear looser jean shorts. Met a group of friends for a 50th birthday celebration. There were about 25 of us on a Friday night. I hadn't been to 5th street for over a year. Wow what a difference a year makes. The beer selections were minimal. If you don't have a beer don't put it on the menu. The food was disgusting! A year ago the Friday night tip special was amazing. Tonight it sucked. The nachos with chicken were awful. My husband and I came home with tummy aches and a wish that the celebration had taken place elsewhere. The place was packed but I don't get it. Must have been a bunch of desperate people who don't know what good food tastes like. I don't know what happened but this is not the place it was a year ago. I won't be going back!! read more

Husband and I stopped in for lunch. We sat at the bar and were completely ignored. Waitress made eye contact several times and still I had to ask if we could have two beers and menus. She got the beers and menus. Walked away and never came by to take the order. We waited nearly ten minutes and finally asked the bartender/waiter how much the Beers were, he gave us the price and kept waking. My husband laid the money in the bar, she snatched it up handed him change. She smiled, handed him change said "have a nice day" and walked away! Worst place I have ever been.
