Interesting experience, I am just going to assume it was an off day! I scheduled a regular haircut and blowout as I had an event I wanted to get my hair styled for. The first inconvenience of the day was that I got a call around 8 AM for my 1 PM appointment that there was a scheduling error and that the stylist I was working with had a bridal party scheduled and forgot, so I would have to either reschedule or cancel. Totally get understand mistakes happen, we're only human. Unfortunately, I didn't see the voicemail until I woke up an hour later, and when I called they notified me that the 2 alternate times they mentioned I could reschedule to had been filled. The good news was that I was at least able to get an appointment scheduled, however I expressed my concerns that it would be cutting it super close to my event, and they reassured me I would be out of there on time. Alas, I got to my appointment 10 minutes early, and I wasn't seen for almost 30 minutes as they were running behind. The main reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is solely because I actually loved the haircut, regardless of everything else that happened, I got exactly what I wanted and the stylist did a great job of talking everything through before starting. The one thing that really surprised me was how much I disliked the blowout! This salon is almost known for their bouncy blowouts, so I was very surprised to see that by the time I walked to my car (5 minutes) my hair was flat! My hair holds curls/blowouts VERY well, so I'm not sure what happened, but I called the salon notifying them how disappointed I was as I had another event the following day and they let me come back the next day to touch it up (free of charge). read more

I made an appointment for haircut and style, they said they can't do me a haircut because their staff made a mistake with the appointment even though it's showing that there's an appointment for both services! So had to choose one service, and because I have a wedding I chose the styling, I was surprised they don't wash hair! She did the style on my hair without any washing! She said styling doesn't include it! I'm so regretting canceling my drybar appointment! Their uptinin is $99 including washing hair and professional style! Long story short , I had a consultation with Erma in april to give me blonde hair and light brown highlights/balayage. During the consultation, she told me yeah she can do it . My appointment was originally Friday May 28 but they rescheduled it bc she was having family problems. I officially came in June 1st. I came in the salon and she doesn't remember me she doesn't remember our conversation. Made me very nervous that she wasn't confident in doing my hair. So I was trying to tell her what I wanted and she kept telling me it was "impossible". I wanted blonde hair with light brown balayage. So she proceeded on saying she can't do it. After compromising, and based on her skill level , we agreed on JUST BOMBSHELL BLONDE. My hair is virgin btw. She gave me white platinum blonde hair with orange coppery spots everywhere . i paid $600 for white hair w orange spots . I then called the salon manager to complain and he asked me to come back in. I went back in the next day and told her, "you can't do the blonde w light brown highlights , and you can't do me a bombshell blonde , can you tone the hair down make it more blonde w dirty blonde highlights" And this is what she gave me... honestly you be the judge . And as a customer , this is my first time at the salon and I'm so disappointed I felt like I was taken advantage of. My hair went From vigrin to a literal mop. Erma from salon 6 ruined my hair for $600 and I contacted their ig page, called the manager and they are avoiding me . i Am a customer like anyone else, I expect the same treatment like any other customer, as I paid for it. This place is a covid super-spreader! Clients refuse to wear masks and nobody seems to enforce the state mandate, not to mention it's packed. If you are looking for a COVID safe experience, go somewhere else! I have been going to this salon for over 3 years. But my experience today was frightening and beyond disheartening. I was placed less than 6 feet from a woman who refused to put on a mask. When I politely asked her to put it on (which, as a customer, should not be my job) I was faced with a threat of violence, screaming, and verbal assaults. To calm her violent outburst, I was moved to a different room. As far as I can, tell she still refused to wear a mask and was not even removed from the salon. Following this upsetting encounter the manager did not apologize or even come to see me. The managers here have no business running a salon if they cannot enforce the mask mandate for everyone's safety! Would not recommend. read more

Got a blowout and brows done at 6 Salon and was very pleased. Both services were $60-ish combined, which was a steal for me. A blowout where I'm from is usually around $50 on its own. The brows were the real showstopper. Renna (I think?) was incredible and helped clean up my brows after I had to let them grow out for two months when EWC screwed them up. Wanted to go blonde about a year ago my hair is still healing she left the foils on for almost two hours and 8 inches of my hair fell out.

I don't know how this place had such good reviews. I booked hair and makeup for my brothers wedding. The eye makeup was subpar at best. It wasn't what I asked for and was not blended. My face was orange while the rest of my body was white. I was wearing a sleeveless dress. I had to wipe off the foundation and go buy my own before the reception leading me to miss the professional family photo shoot time. The hair was also horrible. The stylist had an attitude because I didn't like what she was doing and asked her to make the curls larger. She was a level 6 but I could have styled my hair better myself. This is Borianas work after 3 days. I got my hair redone.... the ones of me in the dress were on the first day I got it done. The next few are about 3 days later. I asked her to do something nice and beautiful, I loved it at first than it changes to this ugly color. I paid alot and I told her that I wanted something that will last. She was so rude. She was rushing the whole thing. I asked her to do my hair herself and she had her assistants helping her. I actually said "please don't let your assistants color my hair. They went ahead all 3 of them and did one layer of color, very sloppy not even in sections. I didn't think anything of it until it started to fade. I had to get my hair redone. I booked an appointment never having been to Salon 6 before. The stylist I had was Karsyn. My sister's wedding is in three days and I am her maid of honor. I got caught in construction on the way there and was running late. I was about 15 minutes late but made sure to apologize and explain I had got stuck in the construction coming into the city. The two girls asked me what kind of toner I wanted. I wasn't really sure what toner was and explained I just wanted my already-done balayage to be brightened up a bit. When I expressed my little knowledge about toner they both kind of just looked at me like I was stupid. Throughout the appointment, neither of them spoke to me at all. I tried conversing with one of them (the apprentice) and was met with curt responses. You could just tell neither of them wanted me there. After explaining to them I wanted honey blonde (an enhancement of my current balayage), they put toner in my hair that effectively turned it brown. My highlights that I had were no longer visible and my hair looked all one color. The environment in this salon is overall just terrible. Nobody was very nice to me, they asked if I wanted anything to drink and then never gave me the water I requested. I could tell that if I asked for a refund I would not have been taken seriously so I brought my father with me. Once my father walked in with me, they decided to take me seriously. It was clear that if I had walked in alone and asked for a refund, they would not have given it to me. Overall a terrible experience- I would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

He said at the appointment before getting my hair done i could go completely blonde and i was so excited! i get to my appointment and waited over an hour for him to even come get me to get started. I was already mad. Have a better system maybe, right albano? Anyways he was supposed to text me pics of hair before my appointment so i could see the options he could do yet he never did. Does the phone not work albano? So i get back there FINALLY, and he shows me a picture on the spot of what i can do, and it looked good! it was a full head of blonde with just the root dark. But as he started that's not what happened. My hair is not good whatsoever. Albano is a thief. he took my money for something i didn't ask for or what he showed me. How does it feel to take advantage of me albano? My hair is even darker than it was before i came in with slight light brown highlights. I told him i didn't like it and and he got super offended. Cant take criticism albano? awww that's sad. Anyways he ended up just walking way. Mind u he told me it was only going to cost around $200 for this appointment before i came in but i asked how much and they said it was $325. FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT ASK FOR. Thanks a lot albano. I like many women, am very particular about my hair! after having some not so amazing luck I tried Jazmyne out at this salon - we started with just a cut (while my then current girl was out for maternity leave)...after having more bad luck with that same "regular" girl I decided it was time to come back to Jazmyne because the first cut was awesome! The first time I came for a color and cut - I walked in and explained very simply what I wanted. She got the color perfect (I had SOOO many compliments after) and while we couldn't do the cut I had wanted, it wasn't her fault. She discussed with me that some things needed to be "fixed" in my hair and allowed time to grow out before we could do the cut I desired (like I said before my luck hadn't been good). As of today, my hair is close to the ultimate color I want (we did it as a slow process) and now if I want to I can chop it all off again! I love Jazmyne and would highly recommend her to anyone that needs a stylist that just understands hair (FYI, my hair is a problem cause it's thick and I have some weird colic things that make it hard to cut certain spots). I love Jazmyne and salon 6 and will be seeing her for as long as she'll let me! read more

Honestly, I've been coming here for over a year, and I've never been notified of a 3% credit card processing fee to pay for my salon services. It's disappointing that a salon that charges $196 for a color/trim can charge an additional 3% fee without disclosing this to their clients. If you're going to charge this fee, notify your clients at checkout. Don't tell me I'm paying $196, when it's actually $201. It's not professional and cheapens your business. read more

I very rarely write reviews, and if I do, it's always because I have had a positive experience. This is an exception. First of all the service was terrible. They made me wait half an hour after my scheduled appointment and charged me above industry average for the color, but I would have overlooked that if it weren't for the horrific job they did on my hair. I cannot believe an establishment that looks so legitimate and high-end can butcher hair the way they have mine. The image on the bottom left was the inspiration picture I showed them and the image on the top left and right is what they have done to my hair. I really don't see how my hair even slightly resembles the picture I showed them. Two days later, the color is even more brass and the "bolyage" they've done just looks like they slapped bleach on my hair and called it a day. Not to mention the entire process + wait time + their efforts to salvage it took 4 hours! All that and I still tipped the lady 20% because it seemed like she tried really hard... drenched my hair in hairspray to the point where it became crispy and dry and took numerous pictures of it for her portfolio. I am appalled to know this is work she is proud of. Do not come here if you want to play roulette with ur hair!!! I came in with normal dark brown hair and walked out with thiisss!! Had to find another salon to fix my hair the next day because I had an interview a few days following. I'm peeved! :( read more
