My experience was good for the most part. But the young lady who did my hair unfortunately did not do it the way I wanted at all and because I couldn't really see the back no matter what angle I found out that it didn't look anything like the photo. It was supposed to be a waterfall braided but when you look at the photos there's nothing waterfall about my hair and the curls came out so fast it we had to redo them our selves the best we could. I was a little disappointed because I felt like my hair looked completely awful on my wedding day. It made me wanna cry Now I've read other reviews where the management go after customers and say you weren't in here that day or you didn't tell us soon enough or they make an excuse why things happened the way they did. Unfortunately there was no excuse. Also the tongs that were for the little dish they had was not cleaned and had orange and red residue on it prompting us not to eat anything because it was dirty. There's no excuse for that. Otherwise my sister and mom had a wonderful experience and the young lady who did their hair and my sisters make up did a phenomenal job. read more

This salon is so great! The setup is nice and clean, the stylists are super friendly, and the haircuts (or, my haircut, at least) was perfect. I was greeted right when I walked in, offered coffee or water, and was helped quickly. All the hairstylist I had were amazing but didn't have luck in staying with the same one due to their life changes (maternity leave and moving and such) I just went for my first time in a year and half, got my hair cut, donated my hair and got my hair styles by Molly! Don't ever go to this salon !!! I got an inexperienced stylist who got color all over my head and face after the service. She gave me an awful wash didn't scrub my scalp. Her name was Misty. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!! When I realized that I had color all over my face and at my hair line I called back only to be dismissed and talked to RUDELY. Verna the levee told me to scrub my hairline with soap and water - why should I be doing that ?! And she also said - "That's funny. I am an observant person. I didn't see anything when you were here." I called back again after seeing how bad the color was. I said I wanted at least $25 off the service for the poor wash poor work on getting color all over my scalp and hair. She laughed and said I was getting nothing back and hung up on me. I tried to go back up there just to get the color off of my skin and scalp and she told me I "needed medicine." And her husband threatened me. The owners do not want to hear if you are not satisfied. My Studio 9 Salon experience started and ended with a reservation. I had booked a waxing for a trip to Las Vegas. I wanted to be hairless while sunning myself by the pool! My waxing was scheduled the day before I left for my trip and I was so excited for my first waxing! I woke up to my appointment being cancelled because they booked my session on a day that my (assigned by the salon) technician was not in the salon. Could I reschedule? Great place to get your hair done for your wedding, we got a trail for hair and make-up beforehand, which decrease stress to where the day of it went smoothly. We got our nails done before hand too and didn't feel rushed being there as they did an amazing job on our nails. We booked them at a bridal show and First off we were told we would be together in the same room and served Mimosas but when we arrived everyone was separate and there was some orange juice and danishes outside. Second the entire Bridal party including bride left unhappy with the makeup! This may be the oddest review I've ever posted. . I went to the salon for my hair appointment but nobody actually cut my hair. I was referred to a particular stylist (we'll call her X) by a friend and I went online to make the appt. I received a confirmation email including the date and time of my appt and the stylist's name. My appt was at 6:30. I arrived at the salon at 6:15 and the very friendly girl at the front desk said she'd let "X" know I was there. For the next 15 minutes she repeatedly paged her and even went to look for her. No big deal - I was early and I assumed she was finishing up with a customer. As 6:30 came and went the other girl at the front desk asked me who I was there to see. I told her. She went to look for her. Nothing. Then the first girl asked me again for my name. I began to suspect that my appointment was not actually in the system. I asked her and she assured me that it was and that it would just be a few more minutes. Okay. Around 6:45 they asked me to fill out a form and provide all the information that I had already provided online. I was then told that my stylist would be "Q". No, I had an appointment with, and was referred to, "X". One of the girls asked if I had included that information in my online appointment request. I told her I did and the confirmation email I received included it. A few minutes after that I decided to leave. I'm giving them 2 stars because the salon was beautiful and very easy to get to. The girls at the front desk were very friendly. Bonus - I was able to read Reader's Digest. I love that magazine! read more

I came here to get my makeup trial for my wedding. Which cost me $70. My makeup seriously looked like a toddler did it. What the worst part was is it was done for my wedding shower, my husband said it looked like I had day old bar makeup on. Thank god I got a trial and this want my wedding day. Love this spot - especially hairdresser Kelly. I've been going to her for awhile now and she's great. I'm not the most picky person about my hair, so I respect her professional opinion on what I should do next. She always has fun...says things like "should we go dark today or change it up with highlights?" Makes it actually fun to get my hair done, something I generally dread. Plus, she's super fast. I'm out with a cut and color in just over an hour, which I love (I have uber-thick hair) - especially on a Saturday. I've been to Fantantic Sams and Borics and both of those places do not know what they are doing. So it took me a while to let someone else cut my hair. So the picky person that I am I decided to try out Studio 9 Salon. Since it's 5 minutes from my house and I've seen and heard many great reviews. I'm glad I gave it a try. I had gotten a cut/blow dry and my stylist was Amber. She was very friendly and did a great job. She also gave me some great advice on products to use on my hair since I don't really take that much time to do my hair. I might not have to look for another hair salon to try.
