Ms. Shay told her that the appointment Ms. Kaylee D. had was not the time she scheduled. She told her she could wait or reschedule. Neither was acceptable and she wanted a refund. The funny thing is I have microshading so you only need to clean up around outline, and I requested a "clean up". The person today went deeply into the micro-shaded region and over threaded my brows, leaving me with the tattooed eyebrow look versus the fullness of my natural brows overlapping the shading. I'll have to let them grow a few months to correct this. So, I'm not going to return. The 50/50 chance of having a bad experience is too high for something you wear on your face.

Overall, I'm pleased each time I leave the beauty bar. I will say that you may have to give this place a couple of tries before judging it (as with most places). My first visit was a little shaky because the receptionist wasn't the most helpful or welcoming to someone who'd never been in the shop and didn't know how things worked (sign-in vs. not signing in). In my opinion, the environment is not conducive to professional hair artistry. The owner is extremely controlling and utilizes surveillance cameras to monitor staff and client conversations, which creates a high-pressure and uncomfortable atmosphere. Throughout my time there, I observed highly erratic management behaviors and a preoccupation with nitpicking with clients over cheap furniture. Based on my observations of the high turnover rate of stylists leaving, across multiple locations this owner had, this does not seem to be a stable workplace. The atmosphere shifts noticeably to a negative atmosphere when the owner is present, making it difficult for stylists to showcase their talent and clients to feel comfortable. I cannot nor would I recommend this business for employment or professional services.
