She kept getting polish on my skin and needing to wipe it off. When she was almost finished, she went to buff a couple of my nails and it was still wet so got ruined. She "fixed" them, but now, a couple of hours later, they are all messed up from doing things like eating and washing my hands. Chunks of polish came off and there is tacky semi-wet polish that has rubbed into my skin. Now I'm out $40 and can't go back because I'm sitting on a plane.

I witnessed this firsthand when I walked in the salon this morning! I wanted a pedicure and fill in and I was accommodated immediately. I was greeted with a smile and Jenny started in on my pedicure! Jenny was thorough and nice. She showed me the scan to get a free beverage while I enjoyed my chair massage and pedicure. It was amazing to see such special touches Tina and Dong has in place for their customers. Jenny did a superb job on my feet and they were as soft as a baby's bottom. All while doing my pedi she checked in to see if I was ok and if I like the nails. She took her time which I appreciated. As soon as I was done with my pedi I was whisked over to the manicure seat to get my French manicure. To my surprise Tina the owner was the manicurist! I knew immediately that she was the owner because she had on a name tag, which I love ! This is another special touch that Tina and Dong provide that sets them apart from the other local nail shops. I truly appreciate knowing the person who's completing the services for me! Tina was so humble, down to earth and kind ! I asked her if she was the owner and she shyly said yes, how did you know? The branding : name tags, tshirts and aprons the employees and owners wear really brings in the brand of TD's nail salon. Conversation with Tina was so nice and it was as if we were old friends and I had just met her for the first time today. Tina quickly and thoroughly completed my manicure to perfection! All while giving me advice on a new liquid nail service her salon provides that will not only help my natural nail but will ensure that the nail that I get next time will not be as thick ( I had gotten my nails done at another shop not to be mentioned and the powder that was put on was very thick), even with this issue, Tina was able to seamlessly fill in my nail as if she had completed the nail manicure originally! I came in to TD's Nail Salon today as a treat for Mothers Day weekend from my husband and kids and I found this place one because they were open early on Saturday 9:30 which was earlier than any other nail shop in the area, and two because of the great reviews I read on Yelp! I will be coming back and telling everyone I know about this gem of a place because of the excellent customer service, the superior quality of work and the economical pricing they provide as well as the serene atmosphere they provide in their building. This nail shop has only been open for a week but I can already tell with the quality of work they are delivering they will be successful for years to come! The price went from 55-75 (…read moreplain short set) I understood $5 per hand to get them removed but everytime she ripped my nails off which I just found out is absolutely horrid for your natural nail. They were so sore I couldn't even touch them the last time I got a new set. I hate to say it bc they are very nice there but this is a chop shop and if you are going for acrylic run! my nails took 2 months to heal after my last set.

I did not like the method my tech used to remove two of my overlay nails. He just popped them off with some sort of tool, which hurt a little. I wish he would have soaked them off. Other than that, he did a great job on shape and the design I requested.

I was so tired of trying to have her correct her mistake that I just gave up..the amount spent was not worth it..I won't be going back there if they insist on her doing my nails..I rather have the men doing them..it seems like they take their time and know the correct amount of gel/acrylic to use..
