Sometimes great and sometimes terrible, it just depends on who you get. Unfortunately today was one of the terrible ones and my eyebrows were threaded far too much. The funny thing is I have microshading so you only need to clean up around outline, and I requested a "clean up". The person today went deeply into the micro-shaded region and over threaded my brows, leaving me with the tattooed eyebrow look versus the fullness of my natural brows overlapping the shading. I'll have to let them grow a few months to correct this. So, I'm not going to return. The 50/50 chance of having a bad experience is too high for something you wear on your face. read more

Please DO NOT come here. They are so unprofessional and rude. I booked online to get my brows/lashes done and the agreed price was $39 and I was going to add a $8 tip. When I came in I confirmed this again and the owner (I assume) agreed. She started with treading my brows, and It hurt more than it ever had and i was bleeding. She then tinted them and left marks from the tint way over my brows, leaving me looking a mess!! Then when it was time to do my lashes, she refused to do the style I wanted and did her own thing. Not only did she put them on wrong, SHE GLUED THEM TO MY EYE LIDS. It hurt very much after and it didn't look good, and when I brought it up she snapped at me! She did apologize but it was not genuine. Also just know before hand, they do not do lash extensions like everyone else, THEY DO LASH CLUSTERS ONLY which is much cheaper and less professional than extensions. Then when it was finally time to pay, I have her the $39 and she then said it was not $39 and in fact was going to be $45 even though that is not what I booked. I told her that isnt what we agreed and she told me that they had changed their pricing. They did not change it on their booking website and she dis not tell me before hand. After my appointment, I had scabs under my brows, my eyelids were hurting and swollen, and I had waisted $45. DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNSANITARY, AND RUDE. read more

Usually I'm in and out within 10 minutes. The parking is a pain though is the only downfall, but otherwise I like coming here. read more

I recommend not purchasing a gift card from here. I purchased a $50.00 gift card and then next few times I went in I was always given an excuse as to why I couldn't use it. (Ex: The machine was down, only the manager could apply gift cards)Then when I was finally allowed to use my gift card, the girl told me there was no money in the card. Today I went to get my eyebrows done and they let someone learning practice on my eyebrows and ruined them. I hate that I didn't speak up sooner when I realized. Trying to be kind and understanding that people have to learn. It's clear they needed more experience than they had before practicing on actual clients. My favorite neighborhood spot. I get eyebrow threading and tint, I just walk in. Usually done in 15 minutes which makes it great if I'm stopping in before work or something. I have yet to be disappointed. This is the only place I trust. They are very nice and offer their recommendations. You do need cash to tip, no credit card tips. I am normally quite pleased, but today I see why others have discontinued supporting their business. The ladies are always seemingly nice but the work is inconsistent between operators and when the work is bad, it is really bad. When I left today, the skin under one brow had been cut and the eyebrows didn't look professionally threaded at all. They were lopsided and the shape was not crisp. In addition, my skin was too irritated to receive tinting afterward which might have helped cover up the botched job. I would have asked that the brows be repaired but as the picture shows, the left is so low that I couldn't do anything but wait for them to grow back. In addition, when I mentioned that the brows didn't look right, the young lady who had threaded them said that the brows looked the same to her. I just paid and left. I can no longer recommend them. They are very close to my home but the convenience is not worth the discomfort, their apathy or the feeling that you don't look your best. They are also unconcerned with any of the feedback which is evident by the canned response to all of the reviews. read more

I decided to give this place another chance but with a different worker, I told her I did not want my upper lip threaded but I felt her threading it anyway while she was threading my eyebrows, then she cut my ear while threading my eyebrows as well and I told her that really hurt and she said it was fine!!! I went in to have my brows shaped and tinted. The shaping went just fine, the tinting (not so much.) It was messy and not well defined and looked nothing like the photographs on the wall. I would not recommend tinting at this location. read more

Fast forward a year later (now) and I decided to get a Brazilian but at the tinley park location... they didn't accept the gift card bc they don't have a centralized system!! Myself, as many others are, emerging from our quarantine hibernation with thick wooly coats that needed to be dealt with. I was able to get an appointment right away and the waxing was done fairly comfortably and very quickly. She did a lovely job. I also had an eyebrow threading which I never had before and it looks lovely. I am very very happy I definitely will be back here. Not a fancy spa but very very nice very very good work. I am no lash or brow expert but I do know two things very well. I know how to speak English clearly and I know how the service that a business advertise should result in. These ladies though very well meaning absolutely did not meet there end of the bargain. I had two services, lashes and eyebrow tint. I should have been suspect after the first red flag when I asked if the tiny was done with Henna and the lady said no, tint, I said well your sign says that you have Henna, she asks the other lady and she told her yes. Then she proceeded to tint my brows and when I say the outcome was hideous I am not exaggerating. I asked her would she go out like that and she said no. I asked her why would she do it that way and does it even remotely look like hers and she says I don't know you asked for thick. I said no, I did not. Either way they tried to correct it but I did what any person who did not want to appear to make a scene and paid them then left. The insulting part is I did not want to pay half and I did not have the patience. So here is my review and a note to say this was my experience. I will never patronize them again. read more

Got there at 6:08PM and walked out at 7:27PM...... I walked in and was about to get serviced, then a lady came in behind me for a wax and tint (brows). After telling me to undress for my Brazilian, full leg and underarm, she asked me to wait so she could do her brows. She did her brows then started on my underarms. After starting the Brazilian, she had 2 people walk in for eyebrows. She asked me to wait and continuously apologized. After waiting 23 minutes, she finished my brazilian and started on my legs. Another 3 people walked in, she apologized and did their eyebrows. At this point, I got dressed and walked to the front with my card in my hand because at this point, it's already been an hour. Anyone who gets Brazilians, underarm and full leg knows that it takes 25-35 min maximum for everything. After an hour, I told her that I had to go and she apologized and said that she's almost finished. I got undressed again and she finished my wax and told me to take my time (because 2 more people walked in for brows). I looked at my Brazilian wax and there was still hair... I didn't even complain because it's almost been 2 hours at this point. I walked to the front to pay and she continuously apologized and thanked me for waiting. I saw that it was $122. I asked her if I could get anything off for waiting and she said "no, I'm not the owner I don't make the rules." I swiped my card and agreed that I'd never come back again. Lady who did my daughter and I eyebrows completely messed daughters eyebrows up with one shorter than the other and refuse to correct her mistake. Not coming here again. It was empty when I came around 2pm, asked for eyebrow and eyelash tinting and threading of the brows. First time for all three. Total was $30. First off, I have my eyebrows microbladed. So the shape is pretty clear, and her tinting went outside my shape and she later said "you can just wash it off later". Um okay sure. Look at the pictures for yourself. But then the eyelash tinting was the worst one. She poked my eye w the tint and told me not to open them up so I kept them closed. When I left, my left eye that she poked was red! And last but not least she didn't thread my brows good! Again, the shape is pretty clear, and you can see hairs above and below. No. Would NEVER go back. Went to get my daughters brows waxed and tinted. She did the wax first. Then the tint. She put tint on my daughters open, freshly waxed pores. The tint, obviously, went straight into her skin. Later that day her eyes completely swelled, were red, inflamed and broke out in a rash across her entire forehead. This should be common sense. Omg how I love this place!! I had been looking into getting my Brazilian wax including the front side done. I was real hesitant and looking into places for it. I was willing to travel 45 min to a spa near Bedford park to get it done. On Monday I decide to call this place to compare prices (cause who isn't trying to save). She told me the price for the wax I was amazed! I asked if a appointment needed to be done or I can come in now. She said come right in. My daughter had to be picked up at 3pm from school, this place is 20 min from my house and it was 1:45. I drove up there, they took me to the back and we got down to business. She was real patient and fast with me (I was screaming and giggling because of the pain). Then we went to the front. I got my eyebrows for free because it came with the wax. And my mustache done all in less than half an hour! I was able to go back home and pick up my little one before 3:00! ****let me tell you these people are awesome!! I booked an appointment online for a Brazilian wax at 11:30 I arrived at 11:25 I wasn't serviced until 12:05.. no need to book anything online cause she does everything by walk in.. she was rushing my wax because clients were walking in the door which I felt was very unprofessional I'm a paying customer just like them..she didn't prep my skin or anything just started slapping wax down there. I went today for a Brazilian wax and I was extremely disappointed. I called before I came to ask if she had an available appointment; she said yes. I got there her daughter who was of toddler age was there. She was very quick and seemed impatient while she was completing the waxing procedure. She was rough and didn't seem like she wanted to complete the task. She didn't clean the areas and I felt very sticky when I got off the table. When I got home I took a shower I was bleeding and there was excessive wax residue left that I had to remove. I have never bled before nor had residue left behind. I was very disappointed I'm not sure if she had an issue with my ethnicity or that she was worried that the shop was not manned since she was there by herself. Regardless I will never ever return to this place again! This is not my normal spot I faithfully get waxed and I've never been in this much pain. Never again! Highly disappointed! I chose this place after my husband rode by it and asked me to try since it was closer to our house. Well, "why not". I first arrived before opening. My fault, I didn't check the opening time but still a little surprised by a 10:00 am opening on a Saturday. The decor was nice and the place was clean but the attitude/customer service was TERRIBLE!! I went in for eyebrow threading. Upon walking in to an empty place with no attendant in sight, I was greeted with a voice telling me to take a seat. I waited, for what reason I wasn't sure as I was told nothing. I then realized on my own that the beautician was working on someone in the back because I then heard another's voice. She came to work on me with no greeting, just one word, "eyebrows"? She rushed through the threading, gave me the mirror after a half a minute without trimming my eyebrows. Took my payment and gave me the receipt without making sure I had it in my hand because it fell on the counter. Apologized half-halfheartedly as she walked back to the original customer, whom she obviously hadn't finished as I heard the customer ask for a little more trimmings of whatever service she was getting. I was very excited about this place but I must say, I have had better service from the kiosk in the mall with the teenagers!! I would think that the older beautician at Preet would know enough about business and the industry to know that every customer should be treated as a new customer with the utmost attention and respect. Because first impressions are everything. Needless to say, I will never go back to that place and happily return to the mall where I get better service and better threading.
