I was told one hour. At the half hour mark I checked the updates and it said they were there. They were not. So I called and she said he "couldn't find me". I gave them an exact address when I booked that I got off a mailbox that was probably 50 feet from my car. I even walked to the mailbox while I was on the phone with her to make sure the address was right.I told them that he must not have looked because I have big red hair and a bright blue dress and he couldn't miss me. She said "well he's gone onto another job in Durham" which is like an hour north. Now let's tell the truth. Why come and change my tire for pennies when you can get a tow job that's an hour away? Very very unprofessional. I made Geico aware. Thankfully, the local fire chief was driving by and saw this nice lady, that's me, pulled over and changed my tire. I was stranded alone for over 2 hours in rural Missouri. I've included a picture of me from later that evening so you can see what I was wearing and how I would be easy to spot as I stood outside my car waiting with the back hatch open as well.

He claimed that I'd get good results at reasonable rates there. Well, I am certainly glad I took his advice! I called them and was told I could drop my boat off that same day. (I was used to being told it would be a number of days/weeks just to drop it off, then who knows how long before they could eventually get it into their shop.) I dropped my boat off late that afternoon on my way home to St. Louis. While filling out my work order, the cashier, Marie, even suggested that I could walk into their shop and speak to the mechanics, Mike and Kevin, about the sputtering problem I was having with my outboard. (I felt that was a nice touch.) They ended up calling me around noon on the second day to tell me my boat was fixed and ready for pick up. My total bill was a whopping $152.00!!! I definitely will have my boat serviced from now on at West Perry Boat & Motor!

About 20 miles north of Hannibal, our Impala started acting funny when it was pulling any kind of a hill. When we got into Hannibal, we pulled into an Auto Zone in Steamboat Bend shopping center and the manager grabbed an analyzer, hooked it to our car, and said we had an ignition coil failure on #3 cylinder, but he didn't have the parts. This was nearly 4:00 PM and he said to haul it to POAGE Chevy just a couple miles on down the road on the right. We pulled into POAGE and told the young lady in charge what we had going on, she grabbed one of her mechanics, he put their analyzer on the car and said the same thing was wrong. He put it in a work stall, went to the parts department and grabbed the only coil they had, a new spark plug, and the gaskets it would take to pull the intake of to access the coil and plug, went to work and had us out the door at 5:08 PM, and the bill was under $500.00!!! Come to find out, POAGE has at least 3 different car brand dealerships in that area, and if they're all anything like POAGE Chevrolet, if you're going to have car trouble, HAVE IT NEAR A POAGE DEALRSHIP!!!
