A day later they called me to tell me it was fixed. It cost over $600 and they couldn't tell me exactly what was wrong. After having problems with the explanation, he finally just said, "The brakes were put on wrong". First, the brakes had been on the truck for over a year with no problems. Second, they didn't replace the brakes. The bill showed seals and labor. The emergency brakes weren't hung up any more so I left it at that but I'll never go back again.

I was charged $1000 for my one of my rear calipers to be replaced. This seemed unreasonably high. I sent the receipt to my regular mechanic to see if the repairs are in line with standard pricing. They were not. Cal's put their mark up on retail pricing of parts. I would have liked to have used them as my regular mechanic for oil changes and brake jobs. There are cheaper places out there who actually try to save you money. I feel I was way overcharged and ripped off. Go somewhere else.

They then recommended a handful of local places to have the tire and wiper blade shipped to, showing what the installation cost would be. After checking out reviews I chose Tim's. I spoke with Tina at Tim's, who was very nice snd patient with me as I told her this was my first time using Tire Rack and Tim's. She explained how it would work. I got notified that my tire was delivered a day later and got an appointment a couple of days later at my convenience. The shop was modest in size compared to the dealership where I am used to going. The bill was also modest in size and no surprises from the price quoted by Tire Rack. The waiting area was quite pleasant, Like Tina. There was coffee, tea, fresh fruit, cakes and candy. Tootsie Roll pops among the goodies. I will confess to my age when I say that I enjoyed watching their "MeTv" which was playing a childhood favorite: Perry Mason. I even recognized the theme song at first which caught my attention. The work was done quickly and professionally. I recommend Tim's highly as well as Tire Rack. I have been going here for car repairs for several years and realized I had never reviewed it…read more Given how important online ratings can be to a business, I figured it was only fair to the Qyst folks that I shared my experiences. I have several cars, from a 1967 through a 2016, and have had most of them here for various repairs or for tires. They can do newer high-tech cars relying on scanner codes and they can do old cars where all the diagnostics are done with the mechanic's eyes and skills. No matter the car, I have been satisfied EVERY time I've visited. Their tire prices are a little higher than the discount places, but not much. I'm happy to spend a few extra dollars for the knowledge that the installation will be trouble free. Appointment wait time is almost always within a week. They are friendly and communicate well throughout the process. If you don't need something, they won't try to sell it. I am thoroughly satisfied with Qyst and will be returning soon I'm sure!
