I need 7 Brew on my side of town ASAP! I was in Newport News and I passed by it, and was shocked to see we had one! I would see it on my timeline on social media for other locations and the drinks looked so yummy. Now I was able to try it first hand! First of all the line is ridiculous. I get it, it's new and people are excited for the new coffee shop on the block. But you know what's funny, there's a Starbucks in arms distance and no one was over there! Hahahaaa. Anyways, there is someone outside taking your order, similar to like what Chick Fil A does. So by the time you get to the front, they are handing out your drink. I ordered the Cookie Butter with oatmilk. OMGeee... so yum! Definitely a treat in a cup. Not too sweet, but I could had less sweet. Maybe like 1 less pump of the syrup, so I can get more of the coffee taste. But don't get me wrong, this drink was so satisfying. I also tried their mango lemonade and that was equally as YUM! So refreshing! 7B boasts how all their drinks are customizable and I'm telling you, they are including the lemonades. The only thing I didn't like is you can't find any of their nutritional information on the order board or even online. We are in VA for Hampton homecoming wanted to get coffee before the parade this was one of the only places nearby that was open early. This is a drive thru coffee chain, so think Dutch bros from California or clutch in North Carolina. So there isn't an inside that you sit down and sip at. The line wasn't crazy only 3 cars in front of us. Other line about the same. Guy taking our order looked like he hates his job. He wasn't rude just looked tired wasn't very welcoming. I ordered a hot blondie my husband ordered an iced Smooth 7 and asked to make it a triple (3 shots of espresso). I liked mine a lot right amount of sweet with a nice coffee balance and good flavor. My husband didn't like his, said he'd drink it but was disappointed. He stayed with 3 shots of espresso the coffee should be the dominant flavor. He said it lacked the coffee punch you get from espresso. If you have seen my reviews before you know my husband is a coffee snob who will drink coffee straight black if it's a good roast/bean. If you've ever wondered whether 7Brew lives up to the hype, the answer is absolutely yes! I live in Virginia Beach but decided to make the drive out to Newport News on a Friday around 12:30pm to finally try their infamous coffee. Thanks to traffic, it took about an hour and a half to get there, but luckily the line was short when we arrived. I ordered the Cookie Butter Iced Blondie with caramel drizzle and cold foam, and it was everything I hoped for and more. The Blondie itself is made with half & half, espresso, vanilla, and caramel and the "Cookie Butter" consists of toasted marshmallow, white chocolate, and hazelnut flavoring. Basically dessert in a cup, and worth every single calorie, which I'm sure was at least 3,000 but I definitely don't regret it lol. My daughter and her friend also ordered drinks and loved theirs as well. One of the best parts is how affordable everything was. All three of our Medium (12oz) drinks came out to about $20 total. Not bad at all! The vibe was exactly what you'd expect from a drive-thru coffee spot. The staff were very friendly and got our orders out quickly, even with other cars pulling in behind us. It took another hour and a half to get home, so this won't be an every weekend stop for us, but it was definitely a fantastic treat. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd absolutely swing by again. Came here after an appointment in the area on 09/25/25 around 1330. Was waiting in line for a bit until we were sent into the other lane by a different employee taking out the trash. They continued taking orders from the original lane while we sat waiting. Made us a bit upset that we should have ordered before other cars as they only continued to service the original line. When we finally placed our orders, the girl who finally took our payment was incredibly unprofessional. She saw I was pregnant, and asked the common questions of is this my first, boy/girl, etc etc. Upon learning this was not our first, she then asked : so who's getting the snip? Excuse me? We awkwardly laughed it off, but that's not something you ask someone. You don't know how many miscarriages or losses a person has suffered. If you have nothing else to say in a question to someone's pregnancy, you should simply say congratulations. I emailed to have this discussed but haven't heard back, and at this point I don't think they'll reply on their own, so I'm going to update my review here. I've procrastinated on writing this review for a while so it'll be a long one, but everyone knows 7Brew is my place. I come here often and will recommend their drinks to every person I meet. The ordering process is quick and efficient, though the drive-thru lanes can get packed so be prepared to wait a bit. I pay around $14.90-$16 with tip for 2 medium drinks with oat milk (+$0.75) in both. Service and ambiance. I used to know 7Brew for having the best workers, but lately the service has become hit or miss. Even with a drive-thru, the experience really depends on who you get or who's making the drinks. Some brewistas are half there and barely listening, while others are attentive and full of life. I do appreciate that this location listens to customer feedback; the music volume has definitely improved. It used to be blaring, but now it's at a good level (or off entirely). Drinks. I originally fell in love with 7Brew because of the smoothness of the coffee and how perfectly balanced each drink tasted. It used to be consistent no matter who made it. Now, it's more of a gamble with new faces almost every day. How can one ask for black tea and get a pear tea or ask for white chocolate and get dark? I can ask for my coffee to be made extra sweet and most of the time it comes out watered down, bitter, or even burnt-tasting. They also don't give out napkins anymore which is a bummer since the drinks tend to leak from the lid and will continue dripping even after being wiped with their towel. One concern worth mentioning: there's a particular brewista (a gentleman always with his light brown hair in a ponytail) who has told me my drink was made with oat milk instead of regular when it wasn't -- multiple times. I know the color of my coffee when it's correct and I can definitely taste the difference. I end up feeling nauseous and sick. I confirmed it while ordering and when receiving my drink but they tell me again that it's oat without looking, so it's not worth fighting. I'm not trying to be a headache. I confirmed it wasn't oatmilk when I visited a separate time and personally asked about my previous order, but you can also see it on their 7Brew website if you have a rewards account. People's allergies, intolerances, restrictions, and preferences should never be taken lightly, no matter how busy it gets or how lazy you are to correct it. That said, I still recommend 7Brew just with a few tips to help ensure your order comes out right. I do love their wide customization options and the overall flavor of their drinks. If you like your coffee sweet but not overpowering, adjust the sweetness to your liking. Some drinks can taste similar regardless of syrup choice, so playing around with the list of syrup flavors really makes a difference. read more

I've heard a lot about this place and we finally were driving by an area that had one. I wasn't 100% sure what to try but decided on the sugar free sweet and salty. I like that you can customize the drinks but honestly I had no idea what to even try since it was Our first time there. This is my first time trying 7B and let me tell you it DID not disappoint! I was kind of intimidated when I first pulled in because I wasn't quick enough to scan the QR code for the menu LOL. But thankfully my friend recommended a drink & it turned out to be perfect for me! The shop is super clean, the traffic flow is one direction and simple to navigate. Nothing more special than any other place I have been too, and I like the taste of Dunkin's actual coffee better. I will say the service was VERY fast, and the staff were extremely nice. It just a drive thru so keep that in mind if you are looking for a place to sit inside. Also, they do not have any food items, so it is NOT a one-stop-shop in the mornings. I finally got a chance to check out this drive-thru coffee shop/stop...see what I did there :-) This a cool, relatively new place to pick up your fave coffee, tea, energy drink or smoothie. I knew it had to be good because the line kept getting longer behind me! I kept it simple and got a hot pumpkin latte with oatmilk, which was good. But, I realized later I should have tried something more unique to Seven Brew like one of their Breve drinks. I'll have to go back. They have cool little quotes of the day (what's your fave Thanksgiving dish? Mine is cornbread dressing!!) The staff was super cool and helpful. Back when I worked in Newport News, 7Brew Coffee was a great place to grab a quick coffee. The location is very convenient, with two drive-thru lanes that are run pretty smoothly. A big strong point is their customer service, which is very professional and efficient. They have a pretty big drink menu with lots of flavors. I've always wanted to go this place! The line is always wrapped around the building every time I drive past. I finally got a chance to try it with my mom. We sat in line for about 20min before having our order taken because you have to wait until you get all the way to the front to place your order. Even though there's a QR menu at the entrance for you to look at while you wait, it still doesn't help the fact that the wait times are very long for just drinks. There is a walk up window for those who may be low on time or want to avoid the drive thru. The staff was nice and quickly took our order. There are SO MANY options, I was actually overwhelmed a bit. I ordered their Cinnamon Roll iced coffee with almond milk and added cold foam. My mom had their Iced Brunette hold the mocha. I was actually impressed with the coffee for its taste and the price. It was only $12 for both of our drinks! Next time I'll ask for a shot of espresso to make it a bit stronger though. My husband and I drove through the drive thru this evening while passing through from Chesapeake, to Northern Virginia. There was a QR code to scan for the menu. There was a double line wrapped around the building, but it moved quickly. I ordered a large frozen German chocolate sugar free, with almond milk. My husband ordered a large frozen White chocolate sugar free, with almond milk, add cherry (the cherry wasn't sugar free, so his was mostly sugar free). It was $14 and some odd cents for the two frozen coffees, which was well worth the cost. Service was fantastic! One star off, because neither of us tasted any flavor but "coffee" in both of our beverages. I mean, don't get me wrong, they were still good, because I like the taste of coffee. But even trading beverages to compare, we both literally tasted no difference among the two drinks. They both tasted simply like coffee. I don't know if ordering extra flavor shots would bring out the variety of flavors, or if there was a mess up, or if the coffee is just so strong that it overpowers any other flavors, but this was our only experience to draw from. We had a small strawberry fizz, medium cold brew with oat milk and hazelnut, and a large cold brew with vanilla and I added oat milk but it wasn't in my drink. I have been to this location several times and something I noticed when they're busy one line will move quicker than the other. Kind of used to it. Today when I order both lines we're long, which is typical for a morning. I waited around 15 minutes and still no coffee. So I asked one of the girls if I could just get a refund and go as I need to get to work. She went and spoke with someone, when I pulled up to where I would typically get my drink. They did issue a refund, no problem. While I was waiting for them to issue it they started handing drinks to people behind me. My fiancée had a pretty bad experience today...it was very busy, as usual, but in the past we've still had an overall good experience and gotten the correct drinks. This time they were completely wrong; he got a blondie half sweet, to which the employee asked what flavors he wanted...the blondie is their most basic specialty drink that already has flavors? i've been there 3 times and even I know that, there's no reason an employee should be taking orders without knowing at least what's in the signature drinks. I wanted a lavender honey latte with oat milk and cold foam. He got no cold foam on either drink, one drink was the lavender with breve and the other was the vanilla caramel with oat milk, so they were completely switched around and therefore neither of us got what we wanted. The drinks also smell extremely pungent of women's perfume...food products should not be smelling like anything other than the food/drink itself. While this was hopefully a one off issue, employees should be fully trained or at least have another staff member with them to check their work before they are taking orders. People get coffee as a nice treat with their hard earned money and when stuff like this happens it makes the day MORE stressful, not less. read more
