Some of my favorites were "Bourbon Caramel" and "Maple Pecan," and they had a ton of other distinct options as well. My wife got her pick me up with an iced chai latte. I got a delicious snore cookie for a sugar high. We found the service quick. The store had a great ambiance with tons of fun small presents. I just thought the açaí itself was a little liquidy and kind of had more of a smoothy with yogurt vibe than the thicker bowl bottoms I have been used to. I've wanted to stop at Beanz because I drive by all the time but it's often closed because of the early hours (which I totally understand as it's a coffee shop). Well I finally caught them open on a Friday before 4pm because I was able to leave town early. I ended up chatting with the owner and he's a super nice guy. He's been running the place for almost 7 years and the hours are based on him running the place on his own. If you catch them closed one day, he may have just needed a day off because they are open 7 days a week. I wanted something cold and asked about the iced cafe which he told me had a shot of espresso and that the ice cubes were made of kona coffee so there was no watering down the drink. I was sold. While he put it together I snagged some chocolate chip cookies which were the perfect car snack and some espresso candies that I remember from back in the day. Plus my coffee was great too. I hope that I can connect with them whenever I'm driving that route and will definitely be more inclined to stop if I see them open.
