This is absolutely a must go site to visit when you are at Pawley's Island. There are 70 scrumptious flavors from which to choose. That includes at least 4 VEGAN flavors! Finally, I can go eat ice cream with my family and absolutely love a "full flavor" experience. Every Spring, my family makes the nearly 400 mile trip from Marietta, GA to Pawley's for the beach and ice cream. Every evening that Paradice is open, my family is there for a double scoop of something different... except for my son who loves vanilla. The owners are phenomenally nice and patience folks, who always greet us with wide smiles! We stopped here on one of our 2021 beach vacations. We walked in, saw all the flavors, made our choices, ordered and enjoyed. We enjoyed so much that the next day, we repeated. And a couple days later, when we walked in, the person working there said, "Hi! It's good to see you again!" The ice cream here is good. The service is good. The line moves quickly. A special shout out to their banana splits, best I have tasted and that includes the legendary Gifford's ice cream shops in DC area. Special props to Anna, unfailingly cheerful, helpful, just a burst of sunshine. I love ice cream and there are numerous outstanding ice cream joints on the Grand Strand. Yummy, yummy! I came for the vegan flavors and was not disappointed. I got an Oreo flavor and a pumpkin spice flavor. Very hearty, rich, flavors. There is no weird aftertaste like a lot of commercial vegan ice cream. My one complaint is that people can t sample flavors. Their dipped waffle cone game is super on point with more options than I have ever seen anywhere else. The chocolate dip wasn't all waxy and cheap either - really good quality. This little ice cream shop has everything, more flavor choices then you can imagine, fun atmosphere with a great beach feel, and extremely friendly service. The menu here is one, if not the best and biggest I have seen for an ice cream shop. They have tons to choose from, they also have some speciality soft serve that is made fresh when you order. I'm trying that next time. Another fun thing they offer are dipped cones, some of the flavors are cherry, chocolate, peanut butter and coconut, I think there were more but I can't remember. I had peanut butter cup ice cream dipped in peanut butter, I'm a little bit of a peanut butter fan, it was so good. The prices were reasonable, this place is most definitely worth a stop. We were at Paradice almost nightly during our week in Pawleys/Litchfield. None of us had anything we didn't like. I particularly enjoyed the Peanut Butter Paradice with Banana Cabana ice cream. The rest of the family tried another nearby ice cream shop one night and felt that Paradice was significantly better. Their flavor selection is outstanding. We make it a point to come here at least once during our vacations. My dietary needs have changed so I figured I would come here with the family but not get anything for myself; then I saw Sugar free ice cream options sweetened with Stevia. I had a sundae made with double vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. I added whipped cream which is NOT sugar free. It was a delicious treat that didn't taste sugar free.
