We made a stop at The Brown Fox Coffee Shop while driving from Charleston to Myrtle Beach, and it ended up being a great little detour. We didn't realize it was more of a food truck setup, but that didn't bother us at all--it was actually a really cute stop. The woman working there took the time to walk us through the menu and give recommendations, which was appreciated. I ordered a decaf Americano with pistachio and dark chocolate, and it was excellent. I especially liked that it wasn't overly sweet. She mentioned they could make it sweeter if I wanted, but honestly, it was perfect as-is. There didn't appear to be any food options, but they did have a porta potty on site--which we definitely needed, and it was part of the reason we stopped in the first place. Parking is free, though the lot is a little tight. Overall, no issues at all--just a very cute, quick stop with great coffee. read more

I was thrilled to happen upon this cute little coffee "shop" in Murrells inlet. You order at the window and its outdoor seating only. They had a great selection of coffees on their menu and also a great back to school specialty menu. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll latte. I thought their coffee was really good but could have been a bit sweeter for a latte. Even so, I'd still return visit and order something else next time. Bonus points for the inlet views right next to the coffee shop, this makes it worth the trip! read more

This is such a sweet spot for locals and tourists both! The menu is extensive, the staff is lovely, and the space on the marsh walk is darling. Plenty of parking and a great spot to sit and enjoy or take your coffee or tea on a walk. The coffees were delicious. Definitely recommend! read more

This is a must stop when I am on vacation or just visiting the area. There is plenty of parking and is right on the marshwalk. The crew are always friendly and accommodating. Their coffee is delicious. I get the iced coffee and it is always the highlight for me. They also sell bags of coffee that you can take home and they will grind it for you if you need them to. Highly recommend checking out this place. Always in my top places to check out in the area. read more

I usually get a bit of anxiety around visiting free-standing coffee stands, as I feel like they will be difficult to locate or randomly not there, and sometimes avoid trying them out because of this. My recent visit to Brown Fox Coffee Box has absolutely changed my perspective, and had me excited to try out more stand-like establishments going forward. The stand itself is adorable, the staff is friendly, and the menu features a nice mix of coffee shop classics, as well as unique specialty drinks. I stopped in with a friend and we both got iced versions of some of their speciality drinks. I honestly can't remember which ones we ordered, but they were both delicious, and I feel as if anything we had ordered would have been delicious. The real highlight of this place is its location right by the marsh. Seeing the water and being able to take advantage of the ample seating area, or go for a stroll with your coffee along the boardwalk is such a treat and really elevates the whole experience. read more

Went to Myrtle Beach for Christmas and had heard about Brown Fox on YouTube. We went there literally every morning and got the salted caramel latte with coconut milk. They were FABULOUS!!! Such a cute place!! I have been following them on Instagram for a few months and couldn't wait to visit myrtle beach again so I'd have the chance to try Brown Fox. I'd never been to Murrells Inlet or the Marahwalk so this was a great opportunity to tackle both. The shop is literally a high end 'coffee mobile', filled with a huge drink menu, tons of merch, great views, easy parking and 2 very kind people running it. I was lucky to have gone when they still had some of the March specials so I opted for a decaf pistachio cheesecake iced latte. There are so many flavors to choose from, I'll have to go back for something else! They tell you from the start that they don't make the drinks sweet but if you prefer it more flavored, they will do it. I enjoyed the light flavoring as it didn't hurt my teeth or make me feel guilty for having so much sugar first thing in the morning. They also offered my pup a biscuit and water before anything! I was won over from that moment. We arrived around 8:15am and there were a few people already enjoying their drinks, but after walking the Marshwalk and maybe 30 min later, there was a line forming! For all of the reasoning I mentioned, I highly recommend this coffee shop whether you are in the area or not..I guarantee you'll agree they rock! read more

Parked in the lot where they were located to walk along the marsh with my aunt and decided that caffeine was needed. I ordered the vanilla bean latte. Service was quick and friendly. The latte was flavorful and got the job done. Even after we walked the marsh and were heading back to the car, a different person inside the coffee trailer thanked me for my business, having seen the cup in my hand. Brown Fox Coffee has some of the best coffee I've ever had! We went two days in a row! I got a cold brew both times. So smooth and delicious! It had like a nutty, maybe coconut flavor? Which is perfect for the setting, which by the way, is so cute! There are some tables to sit by the marsh walk. It's such a tropical spot. My husband got the frozen hot chocolate the one day and the raspberry lemon iced tea (I think). Both were very tasty! The tea was super flavorful! This kitchy coffee mobile is located near the marshwalk pathway, and you'll be drawn in by the wafting scent of coffee beans from far away. There are so many varieties of unique (coconut macaroon) and classic (chai, hazlenut, etf.) flavors to choose from. They also have a few picnic tables we chose to use so the food would be hot and fresh. They weren't busy today. I understand their crowds diminished after leaving the location next to Beaver Bar. The bulk of their business is catering. Just one young man working this evening. He was super pleasant & went out of way to provide anything we needed. My husband and I both ordered the shrimp/grouper combo. WOW - it is a lot of food, perfectly fried, excellent homemade potato chips and lots of sauces for dipping. I ate until my stomach hurt and managed to eat only a few of the large serving of chips. My husband had to finish my grouper. We will definitely add this to our regular rotation.

Now that I've found this place that opinion has changed! Everything we ordered was delicious and you could tell was super fresh. The service was excellent, I believe the woman working was the owner and was super kind and helpful. The area was clean and the food truck is parked in a parking lot next to an ice cream place. There are a few tables to sit and eat at. Not a ton of space but guessing most get their food to go. Don't question if this is worth it, you absolutely need to go here!
