I forgot how I heard about this place but I am glad I did find this place. It's about 10 minutes from my house so I could go whenever I wanted. Food was really good that's why I would go back and get the same thing. Ambiance was just fine. I am a sucker for Duck so I had to get the Duck ramen and it was really good. Bread pudding was so good my god.

The food is always good here & the ramen is even better. Especially the duck ramen it's a must!

Food (3.5/5): I got the duck ramen which was very tasty, especially the duck. Unfortunately, I had an eggshell in mine which isn't a huge deal for me but could really ruin another person's night. The Kimchi Fries were good but not great. What looked like a colorful dish turned out to be a little bland and lacking seasoning. Fries are fries though. Service: (2/5): Slow and confusing. We had a 7:15 reservation. We showed up at 7:20 and weren't seated until 7:30. Even after ordering food and drinks promptly, we didn't get any water until 8:10. The staff was very kind though. Ambiance (4.5/5): It was nice, interesting, nothing extraordinary. Would've preferred the music to be a little less loud since we were sat under the speaker it made conversation hard. They were playing what seemed like Spotify's top indie tracks.

Boy do I wish 7 doors down was 7 doors down from us! What amazing spot. The vibe of the restaurant was great! The place was cozy and inviting yet modern! Loved seeing the kitchen from our seat! Pictured is: La Cicha (loved the cinnamon taste of this mocktail - it added a super unique touch, shrimp bao buns (loved the crunch but wish it had a bit more of the sauce for some flavor), (double fried chicken wigs - the touch of lime here was chef's kiss),(duck ramen - we usually hate duck but the duck was a bit sweet and we loved the broth),(cheesesteak ramen - the flavor of this dish was like anything we've had before - picture a cheesesteak sandwich as a dessert, but it was indeed a entree!) It took awhile bit for the waitress to come introduce herself but that wasn't her fault, she seemed to be only server in the whole restaurant. She did a great job waiting on us so props to her!

Found this spot from scrolling through the recent's page on Yelp and I'm so ecstatic I did! This is such a unique take on traditional ramen dishes with a peruvian infusion - I've never seen anything like that!! With the amount of ramen places in the nearby area, this place is now in my top 3 list. We ordered the the sloppy joe bao buns and double fried chicken wings to start and they were both so good and full of flavor! The bao buns are a bit pricey for only receiving 2 ($14) but they are still worth a try. I absolutely loved how crunchy the wings were with a good spice to them. For my main dish I ordered the Tokyo Style ramen bowl and it was delicious! The pork belly was so tender and cut like butter with just chop sticks. The broth wasn't too salty and had a rich flavor to it. I also really appreciated that a soft boil egg was included in the bowl since a lot of places in the area usually charge an extra fee for one. The ambiance is so moody with perfect lighting for a nice date night out. You're able to see the staff preparing food from where are you seated which I thought was such a cool detail to the experience!

What a great spot with a unique menu offering a fusion of Asian and Peruvian/Spanish. Service was very friendly, and the food came out quick. Restaurant had a very minimalist design, with not a ton of seating (reservations recommended). Kimchi fries, double fried wings, coconut shrimp baos were fantastic, and a great small play share option. The calamari was my least favorite but still good. I loved the balance of spice on everything, enough to sweat a little but balanced allowing all the flavors to shine. We split the Tokyo style ramen. The egg was perfect, gooey and creamy. The broth was rich in umami and depth while pok belly added a fatty layer to the broth. I will be back

Happy to have gone to 7 doors down! The food was very good. I started off with fried chicken wings and coconut shrimp bao buns. The wins were EXCELLENT. Very crunchy and full of flavor. The sauce was also an interesting twist. The coconut shrimp buns lacked a bit of flavor but was still very good. For my entree, I had the cheesesteak broth less ramen and wow! The taste was so unique. The shortless rib in it was very good and the cheese and "cheesesteak" like. Very good. I was also able to try the duck ramen and that was also excellent. The broth was top tier. Overall a great dining experience. The ambiance was made it a great date night. The only slight down note was it took a bit longer than expected to be seated when I had a reservation, but the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Went here on a Friday night and got lucky to snag a last minute reservation. The place is dark, trendy , with nice hip music playing in the background and great vibes. I noticed it is BYOB too, very cool. I'll bring some drinks next time. Once seated our server (I believe her name was Jamie) , was sweet and very passionate about the food. She shared that she used to work at their main restaurant blue steel & come here for lunch so she's a huge fan of the food. Also, the restaurants name comes from it being 7 doors down from the main restaurant (so clever). She made recommendations on what to try and we got the duck ramen and lomo saltado. The duck ramen was good but a little too sweet for my liking- I would try another ramen next time. The look saltado was incredible, the meat was so tender and juicy and the sauces were amazing- I would 100% recommend this and come back for this, my husband said the same. Overall I will return to try the rest of their menu and for the ambiance. It's a very cool , hip spot, worth going to. Date nights here seem epic. We were with our 3 year old but it was still a good time.

Nice to have a ramen place in the area, especially one with to go ability. There is a convenience fee on their website, which you can avoid by calling in. There is a little seating in the front by the host station for easy waiting. There are a lot of good menu items, including quite a few ramen options. I thought the duck ramen was a little more unique. The stacked containers to go allowed the broth to stay separate from the duck, ramen, egg, and other toppings until I was ready to mix. The duck was pretty tender and the flavors all went well together, but it is on the expensive side for ramen. I did think the tres leches tirimisu (which are two of my favorite desserts) combined together was a real winner. It was so sweet and moist and delicious that it made for a great and amazing finish to the meal. All the elements were done pretty well, but it is on the pricey end of ramen, so it's good for an occasional meal. Their small plates selection is extensive, and I look forward to trying those as well.

I really appreciated how quick and quiet this place was. The music was great and the server was very attentive while the food came out quick. The food was really great. The only thing docking my singular point would be for the menu options. Feels like it's missing something and the paper menu felt like it took away from what felt like an overall higher end experience.

Limited options for vegetarians. Delicious mushroom broth and food. Great service. Would give this place a 5/5 if there were more protein options such as tofu for non-egg eaters

So 7 Doors Down was actually recommended by a family member that knows someone that writes food articles. The restaurant itself brings a very trendy vibe to then neighborhood. Actually, I used to go to the restaurant that is 7 doors down called blue steel, which is a restaurant that focused on pizza (same owner). They moved all of the equipment from blue steel to 7 Door Down to create those amazing deep dish pizzas. My wife loves the white pizza, we also usually order the spicy pizza but decided to try other things this time. The calamari was great and had great flavors. The kimchi fries though was a flop. I think it needed more kimchi, it was also a bit on the salty side. We also ordered the chicken ramen, it wasn't bad, however, I think the pizza that they make is phenomenal. Service was great, Jayme, our waitress was attentive and quick. Couldn't ask for anything more. Also, the place is BYOB so definitely bring a bottle or 2 and enjoy the vibes.

This restaurant has been busy since its mention in a viral TikTok as one of the most underrated places! Great spot with all delicious menu options - I couldn't choose just one! We shared the Kimchi Fries - which are so much more than kimchi, with the moreish savory and slightly sweet curry gravy. I absolutely devoured the Tokyo Style ramen - perfect broth amount and very generous portions of pork belly! I would love to come again and try their other dishes - like the Smash Burger or the Cacio e Pepe ramen.

My husband and I really wanted some restorative, Japanese comfort food. The food held up well in transit and was just as good as if we were dining in. I went with a Karaage Rice Bowl with a Ajitama (6 minute egg) as an added extra. My husband went with a Vegan Ramen bowl. While we were supposed to share the Crispy Tofu Buns, my husband couldn't stop after one. Hey, I can't really blame him though, they are delicious. I don't live very close so I thought I'd order a few things on the menu to try a variety. Was glad I did. Started with the cucumber salad. Light. Refreshing and even has a little kick. I couldn't stop eating it! Ordered the braised pork belly Bao. Comes in orders of 2. Sooooooo flavorful and so worth it! Ordered the Short Rib Ramen and their Special Spicy Tonkotsu ramen. So much flavor in the broths. Very filling and the numerous flavors from the fresh onions, to the beautifully cooked pork belly and short rib, to the perfect soft boiled eggs. A+! We walked past it 3 times and when we finally left they decided to shine a light with the logo on the floor. When walking in it's more of a lounge than a true restaurant so prepare for that. You will sit right next to people which isn't my preference but it was fine. We started off with the cucumber salad which was excellent. Just wish there was more cucumber than other veggies they put in it. We then got the Cacio e Pepe Gyoza which was the star of the show. It's was unbelievably good. We followed that up with the calamari which was also extremely good and finished our apps with the Chicken Bao buns that were delicious. My friend got the carbonara dinner and honestly I don't get all the hype. Honestly I thought it did not taste good at all. I had one bite and that was enough. I wasn't sure what it exactly was that made it unappetizing but it just wasn't great for the amount of hype social media gives it. The presentation was beautiful for pictures but the taste wasn't there at all. I had the Spicy Miso Ramen which was very tasty. Only problem was it was about 110 degrees in the restaurant which made hot ramen a lot less enjoyable. The beef that they also put in it didn't taste like much just a piece a beef so that was a little underwhelming. Service was very nice, it just seemed they struggled tending to each table consistently, not sure if they were short staffed or just extremely busy because it was a Friday night. Nonetheless everyone was super friendly and tending to our needs eventually. Overall, I'd say the appetizers were the star of the show. I thought all were delicious. Entrees were a little underwhelming though my ramen was delicious, it was just extremely hot in the restaurant for some reason. Staff were good and price was what I expected. Great place to try but probably won't go back. I shouldn't leave a place sweating after a date night. I think social media hypes the place up too much but it is good just not great. People who come here are worried more about posting on social media than getting great food that the price reflects.

Barely any sauce as well to dip. Signature Tonkatsu Ramen $20 - Good! Best part was the egg! I've had better ramen elsewhere. For $20 I expected more flavor and fillings. You can definitely customize and add, but at this price point I would rather have had base start at $24 and include wood ears, more veggies, bamboo, etc. Mine was basically the fat part of pork slices with 20% meat, one veggie, whole egg (which definitely was excellent), and a good broth. Thin ramen on this one, but again I've had much better broth, noodles and fillings. Burnt Honey Calamansi Tea $8- very good for about 12-14oz, but expensive. I understand Calamansi is not typical here in north Jersey and I'm certain they pay higher pricing wholesale, but it wasn't that superb to pay $8 for again. Had a nice date night with my hubby here for early dinner and it was a pleasant experience. I…read morereally like the vibe in this place. The bar is super nice, the presentation is really there. As far as the food goes, my husband and I both agree that it's good and worthy of a re-visit in the future however, it wasn't blow your socks off! I got the chicken ramen and I literally got two pieces of chicken in my ramen....i was definitely expecting more than that. My husband got the chicken chashu and he said it was a solid option. I want to be so clear that this five star review is based off of our fantastic server, Yosef. He was so friendly, so personable and an overall pleasant worker! He made conversation with us and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience. Nowadays, people are so unfriendly and just there to collect a check. JINYA, you are very lucky to have a worker of this nature! Thank you for making our dinner a great experience. We will gladly be back in the future to try another dish and hopefully get the same wonderful customer service.

Food was very good and large portions of the ramen bowl. Reasonable prices $20 per large dinner…read morebowl. Restaurant is LOUD so difficult to have any dinner conversation. Place was half empty when we sat and ordered, yet food took about a half hour to arrive. Manager was helpful to get the food out of kitchen- eventually! Don't stop here for a quick bite.
