Then the thinner girl got in my husbands face and said just cause you are a big and fat and a truck driver does not give you the right to get free ice. There is the initial automated hold then they picked up, didn't say anything and put me hold again. I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally the phone started ringing. I stayed listening to it ring and ring for over 5 minutes before I hung up. I was sick with COVID. Felt horrible but had to drive down there twice just to see if they received the transfer. First they told me that their system holds prescription transfers for several hours. Then when I couldn't get them by phone the next next they acknowledged that they had it "that it was in the pile" and they would text me when it was filled. I finally found the drug at another pharmacy so I had my Dr's ofc write a prescription to that pharmacy. I tried to call Walgreens to tell them they didn't need to fill it but again....never got through. I'm sympathetic to being understaffed but this is a HUGE management problem! Your problems should not be the customers problems. My suggestion - go to any pharmacy other than Walgreens!! Especially the one at Juan Tabo/Montgomery

Hello, I am writing…read moreto formally document repeated negative interactions I have experienced at the Speedway located at Tramway Blvd NE and Montgomery Blvd NE in Albuquerque, NM 87111. I have been a regular customer at this location for approximately three years and have never had issues with my ID or purchases until recently with two newer employees, Monica and Valerie. On multiple occasions, Monica has unnecessarily questioned or refused my ID despite the fact that it scans properly and has been accepted by other employees without issue. I have also experienced rude and dismissive behavior from her, including eye rolling and speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. One incident that particularly upset me occurred when the store was crowded and she had blocked off an aisle while mopping. I was attempting to get a fountain drink from that aisle, and when I turned around to avoid causing a problem, she questioned me about it and then again took my ID in a way that felt targeted and unnecessary. Most recently, in front of other customers, Monica stated: "I know you're a regular here, but from now on I'm never going to take your ID again, and I'm going to make sure everybody knows it." This was embarrassing and felt intentionally humiliating. I previously spoke with the General Manager, who advised me to contact corporate if the issue continued. Today, another employee named Valerie told me she was "not supposed to" accept my ID anymore, despite my ID being valid and despite the General Manager previously telling me there was no issue. At this point, I feel singled out and uncomfortable shopping at a store I have supported for years. I am requesting that this situation be reviewed professionally, including clarification as to whether there is actually any documented issue with my ID, because no one has been able to explain one to me. This Walgreens tears that fun memory to pieces. To begin with there are rough looking people all over the parking lot and wandering through the store; I'm fine with that, I've lived in cities most of my life and everyone needs to shop. But the store treats every customer like someone sketchy . I'd say that 90% of the items are behind glass, even innoucuous stuff like deodarant. It's a wonder the employees get any work done because they're always being interrupted with customers needing access to something. The check out on a Sunday was ridiculous, one (very slow) woman working the front. And, no surprise, she couldn't even be bothered to say hello until I asked her how her day was. She just stared at me while her POS refused to read my card, which seems to be a common problem at the Walgreens in this city. One thing they DO still have are great deals if you use the loyalty card. So I bought two 12 packs of Coke and two 8 pack of LaCroix two for one. But this meant I needed a cart. The problem with that is that you can't take the cart out of the store. So after taking 30 seconds blocking the door trying to get out (and making a drunk woman mumble curses at me) the super friendly security guard offered to help me to my car.So the security guard gets one of the stars. , And there were two teen age sisters buying tons of candy in front of me. They'd obviously been given money to spend on whatever they wanted and they were having a great time, which reminded me of those fun days with my gramma as a kid. So they get the other star.
