I recently had someone recommend checking out the Sprouts deli for their made to order sandwich offerings. So I stopped by around lunch time to grab a few grocery essentials and check out the sandwich bar. You will find order forms at the deli which you then fill out with the ingredients that you want and they make it and wrap it for you right then and there. I ordered a turkey on white with onions, tomato, mayo and mustard then added bacon. It was a very decent sized sandwich for $5.50, add something like chips on the side and it is a very filling lunch. I also grabbed an Olipop soda and it was super good. I usually end up at multiple grocery stores for all my favorite items and Sprouts is always on the list. I've been loving their freshly made pumpkin nut butter and their snack bar has some of the best goodies around. I also always stop by for my favorite coconut yogurt, it is a game-changer in regards to plant based snacking. read more

I used to go here regularly but got kind of turned off by how crowded it got to be. I just went back for the first time in a couple years and was amazed at how they had great prices (particularly the manager's specials I ran across), friendly staff, plenty of cashiers and a pretty remarkably good selection (okay, they didn't have my escarole, but they had dandelion greens and all manner of other things I could substitute, so . . . ). It was a very pleasant experience and I can see myself putting Sprouts Farmers Market back in the rotation of places where I shop for groceries. read more

This is not the first time I've tried to get some meat and cheese sliced from an employee, and it was like I was putting them out by asking if I could get some help. Today while shopping at Sprouts Farmers Market in Albuquerque, NM - Store 703, (the corner of Juan Tabo & Montgomery) the manager accused me of stealing. Never mind that I am a long time shopper at this store, but "Bernie" came up to me as I was checking out and asked if I was "going to pay for what I had in my bag" - in my flimsy Dallas Mavs drawstring bag. I told him there was nothing in my bag, but that I really appreciated him accusing me of stealing in front of the whole store. After I dumped all the contents out of my bag and he saw there was nothing there, he said "ok" - never offered an apology, never admitted he was wrong, nothing. He also tried to walk away without giving me his name or any information. He muttered "Bernie" and said he WAS the manager when I asked to speak to the manager and walked off. I had to get the store information from the employees. Meanwhile all the staff and customers are watching me humiliated and unsure what to do. I have NEVER been so humiliated and so mistreated in a store. All because I had the audacity to pull out my phone while I was next to him in produce to ensure I was buying all the ingredients for a peach cobbler. Also, nevermind the fact that I was buying a grab and give bag to donate as I do each time I go into a Sprouts around the fall. I don't think I'll ever be back to a Sprouts again unless corporate makes this right. read more

Consistently poor customer service. Staff knows nothing about products, and the extreme high prices are ridiculous. Cashiers are rude, obtuse, and think it's clever to make ignorant comments on what you are purchasing, or even make comments on the type of grocery bag you bring....and have the nerve to ask you to buy a bag for ten cents. The produce is old grade c wilted garbage. There are many other locally owned, better operated businesses who take pride and have respect for people. Zero stars. read more

This was Sprouts on Montgomery Avenue Albuquerque NM....I hate this store but the cupboards were bare and it was right there. After filling my cart with about $230 worth of foods and wines, I went to checkout where my card was rejected....the cashier called a supervisor and explained what had happened and said, "I've never seen this reject message before on a card." The "reject message" was "EXCEEDS FLOOR LIMIT"; the rude cashier and even more rude supervisor told me to try another card so I did -- three times....they said, "You need to call your bank because you must have gone over your card limit"....each time the reject message was the same. I was FURIOUS, left all of the stuff in the cart and left but after sleeping on it, and using two of the rejected cards without issue today, I now realize this: APPARENTLY SPROUTS HAS PUT A CEILING AMOUNT ON WHAT YOU CAN USE A CREDIT CARD FOR....if this is true, their own STAFF didn't even know it; there are no SIGNS telling customers this is the case, etc. I will NEVER step into another SPROUTS if I starve to death. read more

I came to the Sprouts off of Montgomery both yesterday and today and immediately an older white lady with short jet black hair was clearly judging myself and my partner. She was smiling with customers when we came in and once she saw us she gave us dirty looks and when we left she followed us out the door, which I would assume was racially motivated. Then, we went to the deli and stood there for 5 minutes while the butcher was not acknowledging us, though he looked over at us, he did not ask us if we needed help. We went to get a sandwich so we finally asked if he could help us and he said "the toaster's not on, so there's that", implying he did not care to help us. I love Sprouts food, but their employees need to better their customer service skills. I don't plan on coming back to Sprouts again- I would rather go to Trader Joe's where they treat their customers with respect. read more

Love this Sprouts. Love their fresh produce and meats with great deals always happening. Their fruits are always much better quality than the other grocery stores, especially compared to Walmart and usually with better price. Love their chili lime mango. Love their oils and lotions. Great big selections of measure and buy stuff like almonds, rice, coffee, all sorts of grains, nuts, & dried fruits. What I don't usually buy are refrigerated stuff like dairy, drinks and snacks. I can get them cheaper elsewhere. People are always very pleasant and you know, I love being able to use Apple Pay I cannot wait for one to open closer to my house on the west side. The cashier was an absolute nightmare. She was rude, slamming items around. I guess she was annoyed I changed my mind about buying a bag of ice, since it was half melted. I was never greeted, asked if I found everything, or even offer casual civil conversation. She glared at me throughout the transaction, and slammed the receipt down on the counter to circle the info about a survey. That was a mistake because I completed the survey as soon as I got home. I went to the sprouts location on Juan tabo and was not happy w my experience. In my opinion, the most important thing about any establishment, is the customer service. When I went to the checkout line, there was a woman in front of me, an older woman and the checker, a tallish dark haired guy wearing a mask, was rude to her. He didn't say hello he didn't say goodbye and in between he had a callus attitude as she was asking him questions. When it was my turn, he didn't greet me either, and when I asked him a question, he didn't make eye contact and he was rude in the way he answered. His tone in general, made it seem as if he wanted to be anywhere but there. And, as I left and thanked him, he didn't thank me will give me any other kind of greeting nor did he make eye contact, again . This isn't the first time I've had customer service issues at this location but this was the most blatant. I think I'll keep my grocery shopping to Trader Joe's. Customer service is never an issue there. read more

I just went to the Sprouts store located on 11201 Montgomery Blvd NE to grab some plant-based gum for my kids. The cashier across from the store exit door was absolutely horrible. No customer service skills whatsoever. She did not answer a polite question I asked about the transaction I made. Her face turned red and she raised her voice at me when I repeated the question a couple of times. I am not sure if it is my skin color or accent that made this unprofessional worker do that. I will never ever set foot in this store again. I would give it below one star if that were an option. read more

The only store I buy produce and meats from, plain and simple. Love how it is right down Juan Tabo from my house. I used to work for Trader Joe's so I know the business and the type of standards they have in this set of grocery. Had a great experience today with Kathy who was working produce. I had a question about apples because my daughter eats them by the bushel. I wanted to know about the Snap Dragon variety and Kathy flipped open her knife without hesitation and sliced me off a piece. It was bitter but delicious, I would have been pleased if our interaction stopped there but Kathy took it a step further and said, "Do you want to try a really bangin' apple?" I replied, "Sure." She pointed to the Sweet Tango variety and once she began to slice a piece again w/o hesitation she said, "Notice the juice on my knife already? These are fantastic!" She wasn't wrong. They were so mouthwatering as advertised, I bought a couple pounds on the spot. It was great to recieve that level of customer service when more times than not, folks despise have to do their job. I located a manager right after my interaction with Kathy and let them know. Erin was the manager's name and she informed me that Kathy would recieve recognition with what they call a Star card which apparently is worth $5 to the store. I enjoy the decor of the store, their art department does very well. The layout of the store is very easy to navigate with the Deli right in front. Then the meats, which you cannot pass up if you decide to shop here. Youll find grass-fed beef and pasture raised pork as well as poultry raised on a 100% veggie diet. The center focus of the store is the produce department, as you can tell. Ive never been shopping here and not seen the produce area in tip-top shape. About a half dozen grocery aisles are on the opposite side from the meat and honestly, there are some items you could purchase elsewhere to get the same quality for much less. I recommend the canned beans and snacks as well as the spices and bread here. No preservatives which is great for the health concious but be careful and keep the bread in the fridge because it will spoil nearly as soon as you get it home if left out. I bet if you avoid shopping at Sprouts because you think its overpriced, I can bet you right back the difference in price is not that noticable. Sprouts is a good example of a store for the health conscious, they have a great variety of items for folks that might be looking for something that's a cut above the rest. When they have sales, which is often, there are some great deals. Their fruits and vegetables are very good quality and very fresh. Their meat department has some amazing cuts and quite a variety. They have many great and rare cheeses, and their bulk items are always fun to browse. They have many vitamins, probiotics, and all-natural hygiene items to choose from. I especially enjoy their selection of beers and wines. The staff always goes out of their way to help out however they can. Keep up the good quality service Sprouts! read more

What I don't like about this particular Sprouts is they often have expired or just about to expire items on the shelf. You have to be very careful, you can't relax and trust them you have to check every single label. Once we bought frozen pizzas and just happened to notice the "best by" date was 2 months prior. Another time the yogurt I wanted to buy was expiring the next day so I just skipped it. I came back 3 days later. It was the same yogurt now 2 days past it's date. I often buy packaged fresh items (pico de gallo etc) quite often this stuff will be a week old or past it's best buy date. It really makes me distrust this stores management. Like how old is the deli meat, the fish, the sushi, the items without labels. Just gross. read more

Great fresh fruits and veggies. We stop here for healthy snacks. From pre-packaged meals to picnic favorites we always find something to enjoy. Always loved Sunflower but now that its 100% converted to Sprouts it's even better, at least in my opinion. The shopping experience is far more pleasant as the store is less crowded with displays, better lite and much cleaner. Organic and Natural foods are their specialty and their produce is one of the best in town next to probably Whole Foods. Too good. I initially was shopping there just for my favorite pickles from Don Hermann. I was then going to Whole Foods for the remainder of my list. But, instead was able to buy all my grocery items, including have the meat dept. cut up lamb roast and easily get help finding produce items such as escarole and kale burgers. This place is way better then a whole foods becuase the products are more diverse, and the veggies are simply better priced. Sometimes even better then places like smiths, ehkkk.. Sorry i had to make mention... The vitamins section is crazy, the beer selection is off the hizzook, and the clientel is pretty sexy. Im not kidding. Someone said theres a gym across the street or something and dang do you see some not so hard on the eyes shoppers :P . Thats never been a factor in my gorcery outlet but it doesnt hurt. Lots of interesting products that i would otherwise have not seen or tried here, and maybe most helpful of all COUPONS. Yeah they use them and so should you, an extra $20 per strip can really stack over time.... read more
