Brundage location like I normally do…read more I come to this store at least 3-4 times a week for gas and snacks, but this visit was very disappointing. The cashier, Mayra, was rude, unwelcoming, and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. While I was waiting in line, a man came into the store with a pit bull. The dog was on a leash, but the owner wasn't holding onto it, so the dog was free to walk around near the front counter. I was next in line before he walked in, but he was helped first. When it was finally my turn, the dog was still walking around near the counter. I politely told the cashier that I didn't feel comfortable going up because I have PTSD and a severe fear of pit bulls after being attacked by one years ago. Instead of showing any concern, she rolled her eyes at me, acted annoyed, and simply moved to another register. What upset me the most was that neither the dog's owner nor the cashier seemed to care that I felt unsafe. As a customer, I shouldn't have to choose between paying for my items and feeling safe. A little understanding and professionalism would have made a huge difference. I have been a loyal customer of this store for a long time, but after being treated this way, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I hope management addresses this situation and reminds employees that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and that customer safety should always come first. If you have small children please don't take your children to this store since they allow any dogs to come into the store without proper leash.

The only issue I have is they never have enough people working the registers, but they will call for help when it backs up. The only drawback I have here is is usually only one register open when there's about six people online but luckily another register usually opens up about 3 customers later or when somebody has a large basket.

We came for First Street jalapeños, and First Street Manzanilla Olives with pimentos, Smart and final is the only store I'm aware of that offers them in large gallon jars. I make holiday cheeseballs as gifts and Smart and Final for years has always stocked the large jars at a decent price. Today was no different they had just what we needed.
