I've been to this 7-Eleven location on Soledad Canyon & Sierra Hwy multiple times, and unfortunately I've had consistently negative experiences with one employee. There is an older female staff member who is repeatedly rude and dismissive during checkout. Each time I've interacted with her, her tone has been unfriendly and unprofessional, which makes the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I understand everyone has off days, but this has happened on several visits, so it seems to be a pattern rather than a one-time issue. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service at this location, because it reflects poorly on the store overall. I came in to buy lottery tickets and some other items, and Isabella, the clerk behind the counter, was extremely rude when I tried to buy my tickets using my ATM card. She said I had to use cash when I knew for a fact that I could use my atm card at the register to purchase Lottery tickets as long as I used my passcode. I do it every single day at every single 711 i have been to. When I attempted to let her know that, she caught a MAJOR attitude and insisted I had to pay with cash, so I went and got some cash. When I came back over, she took my cash, and I took my stuff and was heading out the door when she said that I didn't pay for the cake and when I asked her why she didn't charge me for the cakes, she again, with an attitude, told me that, "you didn't tell me to!" I told her that it doesn't make sense why you didn't charge me for the cakes when I had given her enough money, and she said with even more of an attitude that I didn't ask her to At that point, I was tired of her attitude because I didn't do or say anything to her to warrant her horrible behavior, like I was ruining her day because I asked her several VALID questions. She assumed that I was going to use my card when I never said that and she proceeded to then argue with me and tell me that I didn't listen to her, when in fact she was the one in the wrong! At that point, I asked to see the manager, and her response was, "He's not here, come back tomorrow," as she rolled her eyes even further back into her head. I then asked for the store phone number and the manager's name, and she refused to give me either and said, "It's on the door. You can get it yourself!" This was only my second time coming into this store, and it will be my last because of her treatment. I was having a really, really good day until I had this unwarranted encounter with her, and it has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth for this location. We order 24pk of water on uber eats to our home nearby when we run out. This is about every other week. Most workers are nice and recognize us when we do come in. They draw smiley faces on our water packs. TODAY, there was a new worker (or someone we don't normally see) a white guy who smashed my chips bc his machine wouldn't read the SKU fast enough and then he stared at my partner and i intently until we drove away... assuming we'd steal extra water packs they keep out front after we already payed for 1. DO NOT COME HERE My mother and I had came here to exchange a lotto ticket and we had won 500 dollars. So as it's our first time exchanging one the woman robbed us and scammed us!!! Saying that it's only worth 300 dollars. But once mentioning getting the ticket back she had started to make excuses as to why she can't give us our ticket back because she needs to manager do it. She told me to go tomorrow at seven. But we stood our ground and told her okay give us proof of it and if you aren't willing to give us our lotto ticket back we are going to call the police. THE WORST 7-Eleven in the history of 7-Elevens! I was just trying to buy two pack of cigarettes. The lady over the counter, basically was just short of throwInt me out of the store only for presenting my cell phone to scan a digital Marlboro coupon. she said with a raised tone and a lot more baggage in the words that they actually mean: " we don't take ANY coupons. Thank you! Have a 'nice' day! " and turned her back and just walked away, as I am trying to be the cigs (with or without coupon) . Horrible service. I usually come here in the AM, but today it was hot and came in for slurpee. Store was dirty and the cashier had a horrible attitude. Very upset and rude. I like the idea of 7 Eleven stores. Quick, easy, to the point and almost at every corner in the United States. This particular store is located in a not so great neighborhood and many times I've had to come here and be approached for beggers. I don't mind giving money, but for it be consistent at one location can be concerning. As far as the store itself, shelves are stocked, generally never any lines here and the store is clean. Staff has never been an issue and helped me get in and get out in no time. Parking is a lot that is shared with other stores like Subway, Boot Barn-type of store, Sushi, Boba, Water Store and 98 cent stores. At times can be very difficult to find a spot to park. read more

I can't believe that we went into this store with my 5 year old crying because she had to use the bathroom and we were told no because they did not have public bathrooms. My husband just purchased something and the woman had the nerve to look in my little girls eyes as she's wiggling around trying not to pee her pants and told her no. So where do you use the bathroom? Do you have no heart that a little girl is about to pee in her pants? There were two sheriffs in the store hanging out and chit chatting. If they had to go would you have said no too? Disgraceful! I used to love to go to this 7-eleven all the time. But the last few times I've been, the experience has been quite awful due to terrible cutomer service. My brothers and I went into the 7-eleven with cups to get refill. We showed the emploee and he acknowlwdged and when were about to check out he said that they were new cups and he didn't see us. And then he even went to the "back" to check the video and he came back out saying we got new cups. He was being rude about it too...then I was so frustrated by this time I just said charge me regular price. It was just amazing how rude he was over a few cents... Then about a week later we went in again because sure everybody has their off days. And we got a double gulp of mountain dew. We left. And my brother informed me the soda was flat, I tasted it and it was in fact flat. So I went in there and kindly told him that the soda was flat, maybe there was something wrong with that particular dispenser, and if I could get another one. And he rolled his eyes and said sure. And so I went back there and poured out the soda and picked another soda. And on my way out he rudely commented "next time its 99 cents." When it isnt wasn't our fault the soda wasn't good quality. But this kind of customer service makes me not want to go to this 7-eleven and maybe that's just how 7-eleven expects its customer service to be? read more

Be wary of this place. I went to cash in two winning lotto scratchers, a $10 and a $100. Guy gave me the $10 and said the $100 had already been paid out. I knew for a fact it had not been so I asked for it back, he said no and threw it in the trash. I had to argue with this man very loudly in order to get my scratcher back while he started retrieving things from the trash and throwing them at me. Finally, I got the whole trash bag and was able to get my winning ticket back. Which I cashed out at another 7-Eleven without an issue. Scammers and thieves here. Beware! read more

Drinks and Hot Dogs...this is the extent to which I am familiar with 7-11 Arizona Iced Tea for a buck, and quite a selection at that...happy am I. Hot dogs with toppings galore, BooYeah! Maybe grab a bag of chips or a Snickers cause you found a quarter on the ground and you just gotta splurge. This has to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I went in for a bottle of water and ended up with a few more items. I am partially handicapped and accidentally dropped one of the bottles of water. The bottom of the bottle broke out and water spilled out on to the floor. Unable to pick it up another patron picked it up for me and since the bottom was out the placed it where it wouldn't continue leaking. When I got to the register I informed the cashier that I had dropped the bottle and there was water on the floor. He informed me that I was gonna have to pay for the water, which shocked me but that aside it was the way he said it. I also let him know there was water on the floor so nobody would fall. He was completely disgusted and stated "and now I have to clean up your mess" I could not believe the way he was talking to me & suggested that he may need additional training bc that's not the way you talk to a customer. He was angry that not only had spilled water now he was gonna have to clean it up and admonished me not to make any more messes. I pointed out to him that he wouldn't have known I had even broken the plastic bottle and spilled water if I hadn't pointed it out to him. The next day I called and. Spoke to Mike another manager who assured me that this was not ok and that he would speak to the employee and ensure he knew how to handle a situation like that in the future. read more

I was driving home and wondered what I wanted for dinner. Suddenly the neurons in my brain fired off and reminded me that I had won a buy one get one free hot dog coupon to 7 Eleven. I decided to give it a shot. I turned into their lot and entered their building. I showed the guy my winning ticket and he quickly ran around to the hot dog roller thingy. With a cheerful "right away!" He put on some gloves and put two hot dogs in buns and handed them to me, each in it's own individual containers. I held the open containers, the two massive hot dogs looked naked at me. I looked at my available options of things to put on top of the hot dog. There were several bins of veggies. Onions, peppers of various colors were there. More bins had mustards, ketchups and relishes all presented to me in a neat and clean service area. There was also the machine that spat chili and cheese onto things. Since it was National Chili Dog Day, I opted to cover my dogs in chili and some cheese. (FYI: July 26th is National Chili Dog Day) Probably looking like an idiot, I carefully inspected the machine, locating the place where the chili and the cheese were extruded. I carefully lined up my hot dog and pushed the button. Chili was dribbled out in little bursts as I ran the length of dog down the machine's spout. I followed the same pattern with the cheese. I repeated my actions with the second dog. I closed the containers and brought them to the counter. My dinner needed a side dish, something that goes well with hot dogs. Ah! I grabbed a bag of mustard flavored pretzel nuggets and threw them also on the counter. My dinner was complete, I rang up my items. A mere $3.15 for the whole thing. I walked out, and went home to eat. It was actually pretty darn good, and fit my budget quite nicely. This is the place I stop at when coming home late. Usually at that time, if I try to order something off the roller section, and I shouldn't order it, the guys working will let me know. The people are friendly, the prices are cheap, and they're a great place to stop and grab stuff you need. Or stuff you don't really need, but really really want right at that moment. read more

This was a handy stop in the morning when I needed coffee, being right at the intersection. The parking lot's lines weren't painted well... some of the spots were half the width of my truck. But I digress.... the workers were are pretty friendly, but it is sort of a rundown location. It's not a place I'd hang out for a while, but I would definitely make a quick stop. If you have never tasted the coffee at 7 Eleven you would assume that it wasn't that good. Well take my word for it, as I have been enjoying the coffee here for years. They have added much more flavors than when they first started offering it. My favorite is the hazelnut, second favorite the cinnamon, top it of with coffee creamer, and around $2 for most of the sizes, there you have your morning coffee.
