Worst customer service. I'm over it! Been coming to this location since like 2012. I don't know what happened but it's gone down hill. For a little while I was going to the canyon country location and they are better by far. This pharmacy on Newhall Ranch Rd has an attitude problem & they always make you feel like you're an inconvenience to them. And this isn't the first time, so now I'm writing a review. They had canceled my order which is fine because I didn't get to it quick enough but then they make you feel like crap about it. I don't even have the energy to go into depth on how I was treated. I am 39 weeks pregnant & have had a lot going on, I couldn't make it right away. I'll drive across town to avoid this nonsense. Do better WALGREENS. read more

I've been a loyal Walgreens customer for over six years since moving to Santa Clarita, and this location is my go-to for all my essential items. I came into the shop on August 3, 2025, and I especially want to recognize the store manager, Arpy, because she is truly one in a million! Every time I shop here, I hope Arpy is working because she is always kind, patient, professional, and so attentive to customers. She checks in on me whenever I come in and never makes me feel like a bother, even when I use coupons that require manager approval. Unlike many retail experiences these days, she is never frustrated or dismissive; she genuinely makes the shopping experience a pleasant one. I also want to mention Denise, another very kind and helpful staff member. Employees like Arpy and Denise are rare and are the reason I continue to choose Walgreens over other stores. Worst pharmacy!! Don't go here. Had to return 3 times to pick up my prescription. Each time I would get a call that my prescription was ready. Then I would arrive and they said it wasn't ready. The 5 stars are for the pharmacist Charisse. I came in 10 minutes before they closed. The front end pharmacist that greeted me told me I would have to come back the next day because they closed in 10 minutes. Pharmacist Charisse on the other hand, help me try to find something over the counter but when she realize the prescription was for my two-year-old, she took the time to fill it for me. I am extremely appreciative and impressed with her customer service. I will be switching all my prescriptions from CVS to this Walgreens because of Charisse. read more

I'm a customer whom frequents this Walgreens store on Newhal Ranch Road. It was very busy yesterday (12/4) Thursday, a long line of customers and I was fifth in line and many more behind me. The woman at the register called for help and the person that came refused to help her saying 'why do I have to do it get someone else.' She continued with a NO and walked away leaving the long line of customers. When it was finally my turn at the register, I asked what the problem was with the other worker and why she refused to help. I was told her name is Christin and is a cashier and refuses to do her job title even when told by Alyssa her superior. Walgreen's it's time to replace that worker with someone who respect their superiors and wants to do their job. Christin's lack of respect for her superiors, arguining in front of customers and refusing to do a job she was hired for is an Embarrassment to Walgreen's! Let's fix this. This store is run by crooks and thieves. On Fathers Day I paid $100 for a Home Depot gift card. My credit card was charged. The cashier named Will then said that the gift card could not be activated. I asked for $100 cash since a refund was not processed. They refused and lied to me by stating that my credit card would be refunded in a few days. I was never refunded the $100. Avoid this place like the plague! read more

Worst pharmacist attitude...teach them proper customer service that two ladies cashier in pharmacy has bad attitude!!!

Pharmacy staff needs to be fired or retrained. Picked up a new prescription and was given a 30 day supply, with the bottle stating Quantity 30/ 11 Refills. At the end of 30 days, used the automated system to order a refill, and when I came to pick it up, they said I had already received a 90 day supply. They asked to see the bottle I had picked up and also stated they would "check the security cameras" to verify that I wasn't lying. I called my husband and had him take photos and a video of my old, empty bottle which clearly said 30 day supply. They then refilled my prescription giving me a 90 day supply but the lady behind the counter showed me their records and said, "well my staff said they counted it correctly..." implying again I was lying but they'd be a good sport and fill my prescription, etc. I called their pharmacy complaint line to report this - not only was I mistreated it's possible someone either isn't counting pills properly or is being dishonest. I suggest if you pick up from this location, hold on to your old bottle, receipts and labels - you just might be accused of being a pill thief in front of other customers. read more

I can't believe the service and attitude I received for no reason. telling me my prescription isn't there and I already verified with the doctor it was sent. I asked if she can double check as it was confirmed it was sent. And Olivia said "fine I guess I can re check but nothing is going to change" and guess what it was there and she just wasn't doing her job correctly. And then she said they don't have it in stock, so I asked if they can order it and she told me "I recommend you just go to another Walgreens who will help me"....what?!?! I wasn't even rude to her but I should have been. I said are you serious, why can't you order it and she said because another Walgreens can help you. Walgreens Another great early morning trip into this Walgreens location! I had the pleasure of meeting Leola... Inventory specialist! She was super friendly! Easy to talk to and very knowledgeable as to what it was that I needed! Customer service the way it was meant to be! The store looked fantastic! Excellent prices and the shelves were stocked! I felt that I was personally being singled out and jumped the gun with my bad review. I come here for my family's medication . It is always busy and always just ONE pharmacy technician working . Could they hire two and make things easier sure ,that would give them five stars . It would also help with the stress these poor associates probably go through on a daily basis due to lack of staff. Even though some days I do see one person stressed out it is not his fault because he has to juggle so much . The pharmacists are also VERY nice and take the time to call you for check ups on the new medication or to let you know how long medication will take . We waited a few, another employee came and told us their camera takes pictures very blurry and it's very old so they told us to go to another Walgreens. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT drop off your disposable cameras here! I dropped off some cameras that had photos from my bachelorette and wedding here, which I was so excited about, because having these was one of my musts. When I dropped them off I asked the girl at the department how I would know when they were ready, she told me they would contact me and that it takes about a month since they send them to a third party. A month passes and I had not received any notice of my photos being ready. So I called the store and spoke to someone who doesn't share her name she said she's a manager and come to find out she's a store lead. She proceeds to tell me since I never paid for them or picked them up they THREW THEM AWAY! How I'm supposed to pick up something I was never made aware was ready. She took down my info and advised me someone would call me back. Surprise! No one ever did. I called again and got a manager and she advised me they have been trying to get a hold of the photo place they use and they would call me back when they had more information, to see if they could have them reprinted for me. The third party photo place contacted me yesterday, and I gave her all the information from my ticket and she told me since it was past a certain time they were not able to reprint them. She also told me that they sent the photos back to Walgreens within 2 weeks of them getting them not a month. I called back to Walgreens and got the store lead, which again proceeded to tell me they don't contact me and I said so how do I know and she said we email you, like ummm that's contacting. But never received an email, she then goes "check your junk." I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING!!! She tried blaming the company, but that company did their job, Walgreens is the company that failed me! I trusted them with these photos and they failed me! She again took down my information and advised me someone would call me back AND SURPRISE no one ever did, so now again I have to take time out of my day to call them again. If I could give this whole experience negative 50 stars I would! This is insane and so unprofessional! I'm very upset over this whole thing, and the fact I will never see these photos ever makes me even more upset. read more

Whatever you do Do not purchase visa gift cards from this location. I purchased a $200 gift card and from the outside packaging looked fine. I opened the card to present to my father on Father's Day only to find it was missing numbers and the security code was scratched off the card. I returned to the store the same day and was told there is nothing they can do. But the store manager was aware this had occurred in past. And here we are over a month later and I am still fighting with Visa for my return. read more

The woman checking me in at the pharmacy was so rude! The prescription that my daughter's doctor called in wasn't showing up in her system, and she was just like "ya, it's not here." I asked her what I should do and she was like "I don't know it's not here" after a lot of attitude and apathetic looks, she was like "you can call them." I called the doctor and the person I spoke with said they had called in the prescription a half an hour prior and that they would send it over again (very nicely and without attitude). I relayed that message to the woman and she just looked at me with a blank expression and said "it could take a while before it comes through." It's more what she didn't say such as "I'll let you know when it comes in," or "have a seat and check in 10 minutes." Or anything. Just "oh well sucks for you figure it out." read more

Dropped my photos off for processing 2 weeks ago which online it says it should take a few days, called and checked in 2 weeks later and a man said the majority were done but they were waiting on a few. We came in just to see the photos and we were told there was no man in the store and the photos were not there. Extremely frustrating and the ladies were laughing at us. According to their website, they have the new updated covid shot available XBB1.5 , so I made an appointment for the shot , just to make sure, I called Walgreens to verify that they did have the shot and was told that they do not, and it was prematurely announced that they did and to check back with them. read more

This review is exclusively for Drive -through Covid PCR test service . It was extremely convenient to schedule next day after I tested positive on home antigen test. Upon arrival at drive-through window, I was given a clear instruction to collect nasal swab sample from a courteous Asian worker (I don't know her name , but kudos for her). I got my positive PCR result within 48 hours. I am very thankful for their prompt service. It's extremely streamlined from beginning to finish. If you need a hassle free PCR test for travel or proof to get Covid LOA pay (up to 2 weeks in my case). By the way , I am a community pharmacist for last 23 years , but my company do not provide this service. Thanks a million Walgreens. read more

I went to purchase a product that states on their app it's 2.59 and in the store they are trying to charge me 7.99 for the same exact item, and the manger wouldn't honor the price difference. The amazing part is that the item is from the Walgreens app? And she refused to change the price. Not only was she rude about it, but she wouldn't even let me talk or explain myself. All I got out of her was, "nope not happening, not going to change it, prices from the app and in store are different" I'm extremely confused as to why they over charge so much in person.
