I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes. I live across the street but I don't hesitate to drive to another coffee house (not Starbucks) if I want a good cup. Sometimes the coffee that I get at 4 Score is pretty good but other times I think they get the water from that mud puddle in the vacant lot next to their building. I know that I should take the coffee back if I'm not happy with it but instead I just avoid them. That's just me.
