My husband went to the pharmacy to grab allergy medicine and I got sidetracked by the candy aisle. I ended up getting a variety of different gummy candies including skittles gummies and sweet tart gummies. We also picked up a couple drinks. The staff was friendly and we were able to go through the pharmacy area and the front check out in a quick amount of time. We also found everything we were looking for, plus some.

My first initial interaction was with aliciana and pharmacist Lorrick. They were both VERY kind and accommodating. Lorrick with MORE than helpful as my son's RX insurance numbers weren't working and being rejected. He worked his magic and boom, got it to work. Then when he councled my teenage son, he leaned in and explained the medicine directly to him ( as he is a young man) and I was obviously right there hearing all advice. If you have 4-6 cars ahead of you, you can guarantee a 40-50 minute wait time sitting in line until you get served. Fast food drive thru's take less time to give you your food! So it begs the question: WTF is taking so long to get your prescription! My wife and I are over this and are thinking we wouldn't mind paying a little more for prescriptions if they take this long. The wait times inside the store are even more atrocious!

Secondly, A LOT of these ratings must be old because folks have no idea. Lol. Liza is the Manager here and has done some fantastic things with this store. She makes sure she gets her hands on things that her regulars ask for if she can. She makes sure she is competitive with the gas prices AND if anyone didn't notice the debit price for gas is the same as the cash price. Yes, there are only 4 pumps so it's a tight squeeze and a wait, but worth the .10 a gallon these days (to me any way) The people behind the counter are friendly and mostly personable if you want them to be, professional always. For the person that said they don't speak English, I've never come across anyone that doesn't speak English. I do, however, lack the English language myself when folks are RUDE. But that's just me ‍ As far as the pumps charging extra, that needs to be taken up with the financial institutions. There is nothing the gas station or convenience store can do about the charge a bank charges or holding fee a bank places on a card when pumping gas. My bank used to do a $75 hold every time I paid at the pump. It didn't matter if I put $5 or $50 in, it held $75 until the amount cleared. It's how the credit side of cards work. So, don't blame the business for it. That's not right. For the rest of ya, try giving them another shot. I think you'll find things are a bit different than you remember. I lived here about 18 years ago and just moved back 6 months ago. Times have changed. Quik Stop definitely has and Liza has 100% cleaned it up! It's clean, she ran off most of the tweaks and it's completely stocked up.

She will greet the person in front of me, being very friendly, as well as the one behind me, but every single time I'm there she's rude, shes short with me and seems like for no reason I can think of, dislikes me. Like blatantly, it feels bad to be in her line, but there is no other options most of the time. Today I came in to grab a few things and I noticed she was following me around the store. This is a first, but she was on me like a hawk. It made me feel pretty bad considering I spend hundreds of dollars here a week, which she knows because she checks me out in line all the time. Yet tonight I got the feeling she was almost insinuating that I was stealing. Whats odd is another couple in the store were actually acting suspicious, likely stealing, but she disregarded them and went for me. Not sure of her name because shes always rude to me, but she is the only black lady that works there. If you want to accuse me of stealing then just do it, dont follow me around, treating me different than every other customer day in and day out. I spend far too much money there to be accused of being a thief. No other employee has ever treated me with anything but kindness. Guessing its time to check out Amazon Fresh across the way.

We've compared them with other stores we shop at, and Grocery Outlet frequently has some of the best deals. I also enjoy browsing their selection of cheeses, salsas, dips, sauces, and specialty items.
