Less wait times at the drive thru! We have been here so many times before and they always take too long to process someone's order. If you have 4-6 cars ahead of you, you can guarantee a 40-50 minute wait time sitting in line until you get served. Fast food drive thru's take less time to give you your food! So it begs the question: WTF is taking so long to get your prescription! My wife and I are over this and are thinking we wouldn't mind paying a little more for prescriptions if they take this long. Being a pharmacy technician myself I try to give grace to pharmacy staff. I work in a high traffic 24 hour location as well, but this pharmacy does not have it together at all. Shabnam rang up a prescription after we discussed changing it for the childrens version rather than the adults (prescription for a 5 year old). She had to refund it, told me it had to go back on my card even though I paid with a debit card and it will take several days to return to my account. Then she stated they would start right away to fix it for me and it would be only a few minutes. I waited a half hour before going back up to check, only to find out they hadn't even started it nor did the other staff know what was going on with it. Fully let down by this pharmacy and i'll be switching to a different location after this experience. Do better for your patients! read more

I have been using this pharmacy regularly and have never experienced anything like this. My boyfriend and I came in to pick up a prescription and waited patiently in line. When we reached the counter, my boyfriend politely said, "I'm here to pick up." The pharmacy tech who was a clearly older woman with red framed glasses and grey hair, immediately responded with a sarcastic tone and said, "Yeah, that's what everybody is doing," while smiling in a way that felt dismissive and mocking. Caught off guard, I replied that I had done other things here besides picking up prescriptions, trying to clarify the comment. She then responded sarcastically, "Really? Wow, that's awesome. Thank you for sharing." At that point, the interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. I asked, "Are you okay?" and she responded, "Yeah, I'm fine. How about you? Are you having a rough day?" despite the fact that we had been polite and had done nothing to provoke the exchange. We simply wanted to pick up medication. The rest of the transaction was completed normally, but the employee's attitude throughout the interaction was disrespectful, condescending, and completely uncalled for. As healthcare customers, we expect to be treated with basic courtesy, especially when picking up medications. We spoke with a manager before leaving because the interaction was so inappropriate. I hope management addresses this issue, as no customer should be treated this way for simply walking up to the counter and requesting a prescription pickup. read more

What couldn't improve? The system first off. Why not put all of the same patients prescriptions together. I had a return, the clerk said "all of this"????!!!! ( items) then said WHY? I said why what? She said why are you returning these? I gave her the reasons for all of $35.00 dollars, she handed me the receipt and said NOTHING ACTING VERY ANNOYED!!! I ended up spending $54 dollars after that ONLY because my daughter needed some items. A person that has a return should be treated the same way a person spending money shouldbe!!!! The pharmacy is always a 30+ minute wait and even when they say the medication is ready for pickup, I'll show up and it's still not ready. This place is horrible, I only use it because it's the only one close to my house since they closed the Rite Aid. CVS is my go-to pharmacy because it's the only one where my insurance gives me full coverage. Believe me, if I had a choice, I would go somewhere else. I use prescription eyedrops for a chronic eye condition. My insurance would not let me order a refill until 11/13. Things got busy; I ordered it on 11/15. My last refill ran out on 11/16. They filled the order on 11/16 but did not send their customary notification until 11/18, and then the message header did not identify either the drug or the sender; in my phone's long list of incoming texts, it looked just like spam. So I didn't read it until 11/19, after I checked the order status on CVS's web site as preparation for calling them to ask why the shell they hadn't done anything yet. The previous time I ordered it as soon as the insurance would let me, which again was only a day or two before I ran out. CVS's computer informed me that it was very sorry, they were temporarily out of stock, but they'd get it in Real Soon Now. The prescription was not new then. They knew I was likely to reorder it, and they knew when almost to the day; couldn't they make sure they'd have it in stock when I needed it, instead of doing nothing, then scrambling to get it not-much- too-late? No... that's too much to ask. Every time I refill this prescription I seem to end up with no drug for a few days, for one reason or another. I'm profoundly unimpressed. read more

Truly the worst experience ever at a pharmacy..... The Check in Clerk told me that my retired Military ID wasn't valid and didn't cover medication. Telling her she was wrong prompted her to tell me that I didn't understand... WoW !!! ,,,after this using the ID card for the past 45 years of retirement, I was told that I was wrong and didn't understand... BTW,,,,, the military ID is very valid once she discovered how to input it manually. The whole ordeal lasted almost two hours before she resolved the problem and I got my medication ... She was bound and determined that I didn't understand, but in the end of the problem was resolved with a couple of phone calls. The place was in utter chaos and customers were backed up because of the inefficiency. I'm sure this had something to do with her rudeness.... In the end I finally got my medication, but never again until CVS clears up this mess and thinks about the customers first .... I got the feeling that I was supposed to leave and not get my medication until I resolved the problem. Repeatedly telling a customer "You don't understand" isn't a winning tactic. We do understand... I love this pharmacy! I switched to this CVS location after staying with another location for almost 6 years. I switched because every pharmacist and employee I have met is excellent, kind and helpful. Service is fast, efficient, hours are great, drive-through is quick/convenient, scripts are always accurate and if you choose? There is plenty of parking. I could not be happier, and I no longer dread going to the pharmacy! TEN stars for this CVS. I have lived in 8 states and have always used CVS. If I could rate at 1/2 star, I would. The CVS Pharmacy NEVER answers their phone or returns calls. It took me literally a dozen calls between my doctor's office and CVS to finally discover that the error was CVS's, and not my physician's. After having switched from the Marconi Ave CVS to the Dewey Dr CVS, I was so hopeful because my first drive through experience was great. Wonderfully courteous, ready as soon as I drove up, retrieved the prescriptions quickly and with out walking back and forth from the window area to the front area, as happens now and has happened too often since then. My latest attempt to try the drive through again, after not even going through that horrible experience once again for the past couple of months, was only because there were 2 cars in front of me and I saw movement behind the window. That was the last time. No more. I so wish my friend, whom I pick up for, could use a different pharmacy. I'm so glad I don't have to use CVS for my prescriptions!! When I got up to the window, which seemed to take an unusually long time with only 2 cars ahead of me, the woman was able to find one prescription relatively easily, but the other took sooo long for her to locate that I was trying every thing I could try to get her attention because she obviously did not know what that prescription was. I tried waving my arms to get her to look at me....no deal. I tried pressing the "call" button....no one answered or even looked my way. I tried hollering "excuse me", but she didn't pay any attention. When she finally barely glanced my way, I waved my arms and motioned her over to the window, and she didn't look happy about it. When she picked up the phone, I told her the name of the prescription she was looking for, and that it would be in a large bag. She was obviously not a pharmacy tech. She would have known that prescription is a liquid and comes in boxes of bottles. Eventually, because she then continued to do the very same thing, picking up small bags and looking at the labels, again and again. I waved at her again and told her I didn't want it, I just wanted the 1 other in a small bag. She tried to have me continue to wait for her to locate the one she didn't even know how to look for, but I insisted on taking the small bag prescription only. She made a face as if she was angry and tossed my small bag prescription in the basket and pushed it out to me. I then had to ask for the debit card back...she was upset. I got the debit card back and left. Why would they out someone on prescriptions who doesn't know prescription?? I must say I have no complaints about the inside pharmacists and techs. They've been great, so far, but there's no point in having the drive through if qualified people can't attend it and attend it as professionally, easily and quickly as inside the store. read more

10 days ago I presented my medication bottle to CVS as a transfer from Walgreens. They were unable to fill it that day. So given waiting time I finally received a text last night upon my arrival this morning I am informed that the script has been returned to stock. How the does that happen in less than 24 hours. Despite the reviews for this location I was very happy with my first visit here yesterday afternoon, I was assisted by the employee Bryan who helped me find some allergy products I desperately needed for the season and rung me up as well! This store was fully stocked and organized making it easy to shop, which was great, so I found everything I needed! I would highly recommend shopping at this location, no complaints here, I'm one happy customer and I even signed up for their rewards program, since I'll definitely be making a return visit! There's a reason this company has been around since 1963, great deals, customer service and quality products! read more

If there was an option for zero stars..... This is by and far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Don't go here, they don't care about people, their jobs, themselves, anything. It must be the place they send the malcontents that for whatever reason they cannot fire. It is the purgatory of CVS employees. It's a 24 hour pharmacy. When you work at a place that is open 24 hours a day, there is a good possibility you will get the crappy schedule. And when you get the horrible schedule, you only have YOU to blame. EVERY PHARMACY HAS OPENINGS- EVERY ONE DOES. So, to the pharmacy tech who couldn't give a single xxxx about the sick customers coming in for meds, you need to get a different job. That covers the service part of my review. Next, when committing to having 24 hours of service and being the only option close to Roseville, you should know that people, real life humans, depend on you. You are not a luxury. Everyone in there is suffering. The pharmacist who seemed more curious with his Iwatch and cell phone drove me crazy as the tech said he would be at least ten minutes u til he could talk to me. And then....they did not even have the med in stock, they could not tell me when it would be available, nor could they help me look at other cvs locations. I was out of options. I wanted to scream. And by the way, when the urgent care doc called inquiring about the med, they confirmed they had it. Horrible experience, inadequate people, and poorly run operation. The next morning at 8:02 am I was able to get the medication at a competing pharmacy without any issues at all. Don't go here. read more

Staff members all give conflicting info on medications and policies. Super frustrating when not even the pharm manager gives accurate info and is contradicted by a pharmacist. Gave me inaccurate info that I passed on to my daughter's physician regarding what he needed to do so basically waisted not just my time by a physicians time as well. The only reason I go here is it seems to be the only pharmacy that consistently has her medication in stock monthly. Seems they have only partial quantity available for some reason the last few times which makes it really inconvenient with a C2. They state that corp does their ordering so someone needs to communicate their stock better with corporate it seems. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Drove far out of the way because it was the nearest one open. When we got there a guy told us that someone would be right with us and 20 minutes later sitting there no one came to help. The old lady behind us got out of her car to get their attention and when she did a lady came up saying that the guy didn't let anyone know he was leaving from the window. She then told us to come back in an hour which already is irritating as I'm not from the area and in a severe amount of pain. Came back over an hour later and talked to her again when she said unapologetically that it would be probably another 20 minutes (meanwhile it's now almost 10pm at that point). When I pulled back around to the window it was a male whom just handed over medication without checking id at any point. He showed absolutely zero remorse for the horrible customer service. Also how dangerous it is that he just handed over my muscle relaxers to my fiancé without checking either ids. Hope they don't get caught and lose their license There were at least 5 other cars that got into screaming matches with them in the 3 times I was in the drive thru.
