They really need to update their hours. They are NOT open 24/7, and they regularly turn people away in the early morning hours. I've stopped by late at night, exhausted and dealing with symptoms from a chronic illness, just to buy ice (paying for ice is really something, isn't it?) because I'm anemic. I've even been barked at to "hurry up" because they needed to randomly lock down the store. (Don't say you're open 24/7 then) If you've ever dealt with anemia and PICA, you know the craving for ice is visceral, it's not just a habit, it's physically consuming. It takes me less than five minutes to get in and out, and that's being generous. But half the time they just lock their doors at random, so I end up wasting gas driving there only to find I can't get air for my tires, cant pay for gas with cash, and can't pay for ice (paying for ice is such a silly thing to say), because they're simply not open despite claiming to be. I won't blame this one business alone for the capitalistic dehumanizing greed that turns basic human needs like water into something you have to pay for, but it's still disgusting how normalized that behavior has become. This review is for the customer service! I came here for the first time the other night looking for where I can fill up air in my tires. It was raining and I just needed to get to one fast as I've been having a tire issue for the week. Thankfully I saw this place on my way home. It's a large gas station and the air/water pump area is in the middle, farthest from the gas pumps, and north facing towards the AMPM store. I walked over and the guy working there (didn't get his name) was kind enough to help by turning on the air machine for me. I easily put air in my pesky tire without issue. Now that I know of this place off San Juan, I'll be frequenting it more. Thanks AMPM! read more

I won't go back in here. I used to frequent this AM/PM every single day when I had a store on San Juan. Fast forward 6-7 years im working at Safeway so I decide to go get coffee again at this am/pm like I used to every single day. Every single time I go in there the hazelnut creamer is out and I have to wait for them to refill it. Every single day for me 7 days straight. Yesterday I just walked out. The employee NICK is extremely rude! He's showing his ignorance by not answering back to customers when they talk to him. My sister and I were paying and he went to hand the receipt and my sister with to grab it but he juked her hand and put the receipt in mine and stared at me until I left the counter. Sometimes, I think it's just a waste of time to review things like toll bridges, parking garages, and gas stations, but I find enjoyment in others doing it because it makes for some good reading on the shitter and a good share with friends. That being said, I would like to personally thank the cockwagon that inspired this review. Without you, sir, I'd be sitting on the Yelpian sidelines rooting on the opinionated players who post those reviews - but now the coach has put me in. It's a chilly morning (today) and I'm on my way to my essential job at 5:10am. I realize that I didn't make my breakfast and needed to grab something really quick. AM/PM was there for me. This AM/PM is nice, because it's one of the few that sell liquor (you know, for on the way home...come on). One of its biggest drawbacks is the gas pumps are a half marathon away from the front counter. However, I can't blame the owners of this AM/PM for the layout of this station, no, but I can blame them for keeping this douchenozzle as a clerk. I'm grabbing something that I won't share I'm having for breakfast for one, self-respect, and two, I share these reviews with my future wife, and I do not need more prodding to get back to the gym (once it re-opens). I get in line and not really paying attention to the banter that the clerk and the customer in front of me are having until I hear some buzzwords like "Coronavirus", "dying", "taking a poll", "media" and a lot of other spirited conversation from said clerk while it looked like the guy in front of me is fumbling to accept the $0.35 charge for his card so he could get the fuck out of there. Once the customer ahead of me wrapped up, I woefully traveled the 6 feet I was behind the customer ahead of me (practicing SWEET social distancing) to the counter with the absolute assurance I was next in this "poll". Fuck. I was right. It started with a "Good morning, sir, are you ready for a little dissension in the ranks? I'm interested if you'd like to take part in my personal poll". "No." I slid my card in the slot. He laughed and proceeded to ask me anyway..."Sir, do you know anyone who has died of the coronavirus, or someone who knows someone? 'Cuz I dont know anyone who has and the media is full of it." I wanted to tweak his numbers, since he was so sure of this conspiracy and I had just read that a distant family friend on Facebook lost her Aunt to COVID-19, so I said "Yes. I do.". While I had Kevin Bacon levels of seperation from the loss, I wanted this asshole to shut the fuck up. Watching this guy squirm was glorious. The "Please Remove Card" prompt was delayed enough to make this a super awkward moment and I was able to mental tally mark in the "Fuck this Guy" column. While I am comfortable making others uncomfortable, this guy should save his tripe for Facebook comment sections, or replying to this Yelp review. Other than that, he is for sure one of the ones that need to stay home more than anything else. read more

Good place for cheap gas. Easy to get in and out no matter which direction you're coming from, or going. McDonald's is nearby if you're hungry, and the couch is a good sports bar right next-door. read more

This is a centrally located ARCO gas station with an am/pm mini mart. The mini-mart is kinda far from the pumps so the urge to get a drink or snack while getting gas is not there especially when it is a 100 degrees or freezing out. Pretty clean mini mart and the employees were friendly. Gas is inexpensive comparatively too. Easy in and out from Madison and SanJuan Ave for cars, vans, SUVs, motor homes, RVs etc. Plenty of space, near a McDonald's and Dutch Bro's coffee. Roll on in read more

me and my fiancé usually come here a lot for Ice because I'm pregnant lol but however this night the man at the register a white middle aged mid height with dirty blonde/ brown hair started yelling at my fiancé saying he is banned because his friend "stole" a cup of ice. my fiancé always pays every single day for my snacks so he came home and told me and naturally I get up and go to the store to see the problem and no surprise he starts yelling at me asking if I'd like to be banned too after I paid for my things nd asked for corporates number ... there were 3 other customers who were there n totally disagreed with his behavior. read more

This is one of my favorite gas stations to come to. It is so big I have never had to wait for a pump. Their gas is always a great price. The only thing the sucks is the market is far from the pumps. So, in the morning if I am in a hurry its kind of a far walk. Other then that, no other issues and they have a huge selection of goodies inside for great prices. The staff has always been very friendly and outgoing. read more

These days a couple of cents on gas prices make a huge difference. I always use 91 and that is already a bit more than the other two but I have found that here it is priced at what the cheapest gas is at any other place. When I'm in this area even if its just a quarter of a tank I need... I stop in and fill up. read more

More often than not, I go in And I have to wait for the cashier to stop watching movies on his cell phone to ring me up. Sometimes, they'll continue watching movies while handling my transaction. Customer service is iffy, sometimes I feel like a bother more than an actual customer. I understand if it's slow and there's no customers and all other works finished to pass time watching movies but come on. Owner should make a rule that if any customers are in the store, have their phones put away. Mind you, this was not one isolated issue/visit, this happens all the time. Honestly wish I could give 0 stars. The cashier guy was extremely rude to my dad. We passed by for some gas and decided to get some snacks for the road my dad likes the burritos they have there so he warmed it up before paying for it we obviously didn't know that this store had a rule about that because all the other ones didn't mind when he warms it up before paying for it. Anyways so when it was our turn in line the cashier guy literally got extremely mad about it and had my dad scan the burrito as my dad was reaching to scan it again because he got 2 of them the guy literally pushed my dads arm trying to block him and damn near yelled "no". My dad is a dialysis patient and has the little thing that they connect the tubes to on his arm. If he would have pushed any harder he could have really hurt my dad. I really didn't appreciate how he treated my dad not how he had a stupid little attitude and constantly rolling his eyes. Honestly if he doesn't want to be at work then just fucking quit.
