Fiesta stores have been nothing but trouble for me. So it's nice to find such a helpful and friendly and efficient location in Katy. Yes it's still a mega chain, but this is a damn good location of said mega. This section of a very popular Katy based shopping plaza has had plenty of popular trendy restaurants and less popular restaurants and other businesses which seem to come and go, which is strange because the rents are not bad and there are plenty of other good businesses here and lots of traffic. It's a good plaza with a lot of great businesses past and present that we've explored.

They never really communicated with the customers on why it closed for nearly a year. They just disappeared into thin air. Then all of a sudden it opened back up under ownership. I'll be the first to say that it's not the same at all. They don't have most of the things I used to purchase before the first one closed. For example, I used to always order Oreo vanilla shakes. Now they don't serve them anymore. I used to always stop there to get a few Powerade or Gatorade drinks for the road. They don't sell those anymore. The last time I stopped there for a Powerade, they said the only fruit-type drink available was Calypso. I reluctantly order one of the Calypso drinks and the kid proceeds to hand me a HOT one. It's 120 degrees outside and they give me a hot drink. I asked him why he gave me a hot Calypso and he said sorry and gave me a small cup of ice for my troubles. That's not going to win you any customers. I also forgot to add that I came up one morning to try the new chicken biscuit sandwich. This was around 830 or 845. So I was assuming that they'd have plenty of breakfast ready. Nope. They told me it was going to take 20 minutes to make the sandwich. Luckily I had to stop home and was going to pass by again, so I told them I'd be back. I reluctantly came back to get the sandwich. It was tasty, but it shouldn't have taken 20 minutes to make it. I'm willing to bet it won't take Tim Horton's 20 minutes to make a breakfast sandwich. I'm trying my best to support Farm Stores, but this new regime is clearly cutting corners on supplies and everything else the old regime had. It's not the same place as it was before. Not even close.

I had an extremely poor curbside experience at this location…read more I placed a curbside order scheduled for pickup between 1-2 PM. At 9:00 AM, the app showed my order as "ready" and indicated that my organic whole milk had been substituted, but it did not list what the substitution was. I also realized I needed to add one more item, so I attempted to call the store. I called the store over 10 times throughout the morning and no one answered. Because the order showed as ready, I went to the store to pick it up. Upon arrival, I again called curbside -- no answer. I was forced to go inside, which defeats the entire purpose of curbside pickup. The store was nearly empty of customers. Several employees were standing around; one was eating. I spoke to a person who appeared to be a manager and explained that I had been calling all morning with no response. There was no apology or urgency. I was directed to another employee who appeared confused by the order. When I asked what my milk had been substituted with, I was told 2% milk, which made no sense given that I ordered whole milk. When I asked why it wasn't substituted with another whole milk, there was no explanation. I was then told that whole milk was out of stock. I personally went to the milk section and found the shelf fully stocked with whole milk. I brought it back and showed the employee. He said it "must have just been restocked," yet no one had bothered to check before making the substitution. I was then told that nothing could be changed or added to my order, and that if I wanted additional items I would need to place an entirely new order -- while standing in an almost empty store. At that point, I was told I could place another order and the employee could shop it, which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. I paid over $140 for a small order, received incorrect substitutions, could not reach anyone by phone, had to walk into the store anyway, and still could not get basic service or flexibility. For the prices Sprouts charges, this level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I will not be shopping at Sprouts again.

Here she is doing her famous pose at one of the better gas stations west of Houston, right off the south side of I-10 and very convenient, forgive the pun. I-10 runs from Santa Monica's Pacific Ocean in the West LA burbs, all the way to Jacksonville on the Atlantic Coast, and a little over halfway across starting from Cali, you will run into this gas station just before you get into Houston proper. It's a pretty good convenience store and they sell Barbi's fave water, and have a bathroom you can use after that long drive across the T to the X, and in general are a pretty good place to stop for gas right off the highway, and not too expensive, and it's open 24 hours which is a huge bonus.
