I love Sprouts. If you know how to shop and when to shop, you could get some deals. I also go to TJ's, Kroger. Go for buy 1 get 1 free deals. For example, milk and you'll get 2 for maybe $6-$7.xx. Cooked beans, grains, dairy, ice cream mochi, frozen foods, etc. Meals to go or meals ready to cook deals for days you just don't feel like cooking tonight. You'll have to eat it within 2 days. Raw meat packaged here seems to last longer than other markets. Sandwiches made on the spot. Good for lunchtime. I remember I used to go for this during lunchtime from my hometown. What I don't see from Spouts anymore, or any Sprouts are the self serve hot soups. When it comes to produce and veggies, these cost a little more or sometimes the same price as HEB. All right now this store is amazing! I think the prices can be high however it seems as if they always have deals so be sure to check out maybe their newsletters or just come into kinda see if you can scavenger hunt for some deals. I also picked up some items and I will say the Buffalo ranch sauce was a six out of 10, but it is very, very healthy. And the croutons were definitely a 10 out of 10. I had an extremely poor curbside experience at this location. I placed a curbside order scheduled for pickup between 1-2 PM. At 9:00 AM, the app showed my order as "ready" and indicated that my organic whole milk had been substituted, but it did not list what the substitution was. I also realized I needed to add one more item, so I attempted to call the store. I called the store over 10 times throughout the morning and no one answered. Because the order showed as ready, I went to the store to pick it up. Upon arrival, I again called curbside -- no answer. I was forced to go inside, which defeats the entire purpose of curbside pickup. The store was nearly empty of customers. Several employees were standing around; one was eating. I spoke to a person who appeared to be a manager and explained that I had been calling all morning with no response. There was no apology or urgency. I was directed to another employee who appeared confused by the order. When I asked what my milk had been substituted with, I was told 2% milk, which made no sense given that I ordered whole milk. When I asked why it wasn't substituted with another whole milk, there was no explanation. I was then told that whole milk was out of stock. I personally went to the milk section and found the shelf fully stocked with whole milk. I brought it back and showed the employee. He said it "must have just been restocked," yet no one had bothered to check before making the substitution. I was then told that nothing could be changed or added to my order, and that if I wanted additional items I would need to place an entirely new order -- while standing in an almost empty store. At that point, I was told I could place another order and the employee could shop it, which completely defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. I paid over $140 for a small order, received incorrect substitutions, could not reach anyone by phone, had to walk into the store anyway, and still could not get basic service or flexibility. For the prices Sprouts charges, this level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I will not be shopping at Sprouts again. read more

BEWARE: I use to feel like this store in Cinco Ranch was safe but no more. This store is not stopping shoplifters with meat left in their basket at checkout, while other items were put on counter for check out. Customers saw it and so did the checker but the checker said nothing to this couple. Another customer put the meat left in the basket on the counter for them, thinking they had forgotten it in the basket. This must have enraged the couple that they were stopped from shoplifting by this action. This couple left the store then returned into the store to confront and threaten the customer checking out who had been behind them. The checker then apologized to the couple who was threatening and attempting to shoplift, not apologizing to the customer who was threatened. She had to leave the store all alone with the criminals waiting in the parking lot for her as they were getting into the SUV but the big tall male was facing directly toward the lady in a threatening manner as it looked like the customer quickly left in fear. *I now believe that what I saw was a gang of shoplifters since there were 2 couples in different ends of the store who didn't appear to be together but in the parking lot, they all were getting into the same SUV. read more

Like fresh, hot bread out of the oven is this fabulous experience that I cannot wait to share! Today I wanted to try something different and go shopping for lunch for my daughter in the Houston area. In under five minutes, I was able to do so right from the comfort of my "comfy" couch (pardon the redundancy). Sprouts was my choice store and the process was seamless. It was a one-two-three steps where I clicked, checked out and received follow-along texts from my personal shopper, Yusuf. Although there was a hiccup because they ran out of one of the items, my shopper sent photos of alternates and we were able to replace as if I had been right there at the butcher case! To top it off, my first order was stapled with free delivery, and the gratuity was guaranteed for my driver in its entirety. I will not hesitate in shopping Sprouts again and in recommending them to everyone! read more

Beautiful produce with lots of organic options. Only place I've found that carries the Keto friendly Lilly's chocolate bars (beware- they are pricey but delicious). Today i went for the 5# bag of scallops on sale for $9.99 a pound. They are sweet and good size and this is a great deal. I cook them in butter with a little garlic and some seasoning they're just delicious. I grew up in this neighborhood since '94 and was so psyched when a Sprouts finally came in. It gave this dominantly suburban community a little bit more of a city feel since we don't have a whole foods close and Sprouts is way more inexpensive. I've always loved Sprouts' customer service, well organized aisles, and cleanliness. They have the best management and employees. I LOVE YOU SPROUTS. The freshest of the fresh. A huge variety. All our family's needs in one place. You have provided a great place of community and unity for Cinco Ranch. I drove by today and was heartbroken to see a bunch of anti-maskers trying to bring down a business that works so hard to protect the health of their employees and the health of all those who walk in the door. It's wild to me there are so many selfish people in a city that hosts the number one cancer center in the world. If anything Greater Houston should be extra cautious for all those they are putting at risk when they choose to omit a mask. In regards to the Woman's post who says she is being discriminated against, I'm not sure if she knows what that means. Businesses refusing to take you in because you are gay or hispanic or black is discrimination. Businesses that follow science (that the whole world is implementing because we are in a pandemic crises) and refusing to allow you in because you post an instant threat to everyone you walk past when unmasked, that's called the business cares more about the general population and not someone's inconvenience or high maintenance needs. POI from an asthmatic with bad breathing problems: If you have asthma and can not breathe in a mask... you forgot to take your inhaler before you put your mask on, and that's on you. If your inhaler isn't working then it's probably expired (meaning your asthma isn't really that bad). If your inhaler isn't expired, you still can't breathe in a mask after taking it, then your breathing problems are much worse than asthma and you should be using stronger prescriptions + nebulizers and 1000% should not be in public because you are most at risk. If you have family who maybe has a mental illness and can not wear a mask, we all are understanding towards this. We kindly ask you do what all the other selfless families in affluent suburban areas with access to meal delivery services do, and stay home to protect others and order your groceries by delivery. It's so funny how people who don't work in industries like bars, restaurants, grocery stores think the health of the people serving the is not important over their own needs and conveniences. Stopped by Sprouts for the first time for a speciality item. Picked up a few extra things that bring corn bread. Upon opening the container I see speckles of mold.. it was so small that my parents thought it was jalapeños. I'm so glad I opened it first rather than my son or my parents because they would have eaten it right away. It was 2 days past it's sell by date... I called the store right away and complained but just needed to warn others as well, to always always check the date! The name of the store says it all..."Farmers Market". Whereas most of Whole Foods' produce is organic and expensive, Sprouts is cheaper and mostly NOT organic. Sprouts is a small, neighborhood store, but has bread, cheese, a deli, wine, vitamins, and prepackaged health food. Sprouts excels at produce. I stopped by around 9pm (the store closes at 10pm) and picked-up some oranges and pears for $.98/lb, peaches and plums for $1.29/lb, organic pink lady apples for $.68/lb, and a cantaloupe at $1.50. I came back home with about 20 pounds of fruit and vegetables for only $17. You can't get these kinds of deals unless you shop at a real farmers market. You can also check the weekly ad online. For some reason, most, but not all of the produce is low-priced. Bananas always seem to be cheaper at the other grocery stores. I am not much into health food, but it appears to be competitively priced. You can find bread, cheese and alcohol at similar/lower prices at HEB. Meat and dairy products such as milk and yogurt are cheaper at HEB and Aldi. The soup and deli sandwiches are good if you want a quick lunch. I also enjoy the cheese from Sprouts...there is a good selection of name brand and Sprouts cheeses. Coffee bean dispensers line an entire aisle. Sprouts has an excellent variety of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffees. Several aisles in the front of the store offer bulk dried fruit, nuts, grains, trail mixes, and granola. I really like the tasty oversized raisins, 5 grain cereal and "Everything" trail mix. The store is located in the middle of Cinco Ranch...across the street from the golf course/next to LifeTime Fitness, and minutes from my house. Quite often on weekends, you will see people walking between the store and their houses. Although Ranch 99 and Fiesta may have the most variety in their produce, I keep going back to Sprouts. Many times I have purchased wilted broccoli from HEB, only to find it fresher and cheaper at Sprouts. I would give Sprouts five stars if I could get all of my groceries there...at a good price. Lately, I have been getting produce at Sprouts, milk/eggs and prepackaged food at Aldi, and everything else mainly at HEB (sometimes Kroger). When that gets to be a pain, I get all of my groceries at HEB as a one-stop-shop. read more

Gotta say I love this place. It's a Farmers Market, so you'll find the best of local and some organic. I love that it's close to my home, not as crowded or overpriced as Whole Foods and has some stuff that I can't find at WF. I love the eggplant meatballs. Haven't been able to find them anywhere else. I also love their store brand orange juice - so fresh!! It's a smaller store so people used to the large scale selection at WF or Central Market might be disappointed. Great grocery store for healthy eating. Be sure to check their sales if possible, go on Wednesday, Wednesday's are by far the best day to go because you get a double sale, both last week and this week's sale! The reason this particular store got 5 stores is due to the service we received. We were debating about 2 products to get for ear pain. In the 5 min, we were there, 2 workers came by and asked if they could help. The first one we told no, but then got overwhelmed, and was so grateful a second person came by. She explained not only what was best, but why. We could not believe it. Then we went to get salmon, not only was wild sockeye on sale, but I had a few questions, and the department went out of their way to answer them. Every department we went to, we were greeted and could see that the employees were genuinly happy to help. read more

My location didn't have what I was looking for (even when I had called ahead to make sure they had the item in stock - sigh.), so I made the short drive east to this location. I interacted with no less than 5 staff members and they were each so effortlessly kind and helpful and went out of their way to help me even beyond what I was first asking for. So Glad Sprouts is in Katy. This store has great customer service. We used to goto whole Foods but ive since been searching for a organic store with no disfunction on customer service. They pretty much had the same selectionat sprouts and interestingly, one of the old employees of whole foods works there too. Lol We liked him too when he was at WF. That guy Derek now works at sprouts and hes super cool. He used to be the only one who was smiling and working at the old store we'd goto ( Whole foods). Hed always say hi, how yall doin' etc.? Its nice to see a familiar face at Sprouts now. He is just as friendly as I remembered. When we shop for food, i like to be around positive happy vibes vs. nasty negligent types. Sprouts surprisingly has grass fed meats too and a soup bar with chicken noodle soup which is our favorite! Their prices are a little less that whole foods=whole Price. Never again! I just got sick of being over charged too at WF. I was constantly in the customer service line getting my money back, and alot of times i would get attitude Or ignored. Terrible customer service. I am a senior citizen living on a very limited food budget. I bought 8oz sliced mushrooms and the price said $2.99, rang up at $3.49. The clerk checked and came back and said $3.49. we both walked back and I showed him the $2.99 price and he told me that was for a different brand and said they were out of them. instead they kept the $2.99 sign up and filled it with the higher priced mushrooms. That is bait and switch. I told the clerk I wouldn't be back, a manager saw me leave and just ignored me. This will cost them far more the the 50 cent difference. one thing retired folks do very well is to share their experiences with stores, good or bad, with others. Also, their handicap parking places are on the side of the store rather than near the doors. I know this is a gripe by an old person that some may think has nothing better to do, just remember everyone is heading in that direction and it happens fast. I truly adore Sprouts. I was introduced to this store after my sister kept raving about it. It also helped that the store is new and so close to my house! I'm glad I finally checked it out and I must say I am impressed. The store is average in size and neatly organized sections such as produce, deli, meat, bakery, et cetera et cetera...They have a nice bulk items department, where they have tons of grains, cereal, nuts, and so on, all sold per lb. The prices are for the most part comparable to, if not cheaper than, the other stores like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. I would say it is a bit messier and "less fancy" than the others, but it doesn't matter too much for me. I also like the fact Sprouts offers variety of products for vegan and gluten-free lifestyles. Though I am neither of those, I'm glad the options exist if I do want to change. I have to commend them on the service...there are always several staff available around the store if you need any help. The Katy location is pretty convenient for me, very close to Grand Parkway (hwy 99). I heard there are several new Sprouts markets well...sprouting around town nowadays. If you are trying to eat more healthy foods and/or organic foods Sprouts is a place you need to check out. All of their food is of that nature and their prices are pretty good, or so my wife says she watches that stuff more closely than I do. =) Anyways they do have a good selection even though this store is tine compared to the likes of Whole Foods. Their produce is real good (unlike what others "Claim") and in many cases they have some smoking deals on it if you hit them on the right day. You can also find some interesting choices in their meat department such as kangaroo meat if you are brave enough to try it out. (yes we have some of it here, just have not made it yet). To go along with their produce, in truth they have smoking deals all throughout the store. Keep an eye on their adds and you can make out like a bandit if you catch them on the right day. read more
