Bathroom access required a keypad, which is understandable, however I was escorted to the door, and the code was deliberately concealed rather than shared. Once I got inside, I noticed the door lock had been taped over, preventing it from being locked from the inside which raised my privacy n safety concerns honestly. The bathroom itself was poorly maintained. Toilet paper wasn't properly stocked, floor was sticky, there was an exposed hole in the wall blowing hot air over the toilet, and handwritten graffiti "no smoking crack" had been left directly beneath the "no smoking" sign. I don't usually leave reviews for convenience store-gas stations, but this stood-out due to basic cleanliness and maintenance issues that should be addressed. With better oversight of the bathroom, this 7-Eleven could be much improved.

As I finished it a police car parked in front of me. An officer got out and stood there staring at me. I then went to the drive thru ATM and left. This was early Sunday morning. The Bank was closed so a 7-11 employee would have been the one to call police. The lot was over 90% empty. There was a car to my left being repaired that was there before I was. There was a person on my right going through garbage cans looking for bottles. When I go into this 7-11 there is usually someone standing outside by the door. Sometimes they ask for money and sometimes they don't. When I was parked in front of the 7-11, I have had several instances of people coming up to the car asking for money. I regularly use this ATM and pay the Bank a fee to use it. As stated I was mot parked in front of the 7-11 but the Bank. Can a 7-11 employee make a Bank customer parked by the Bank leave. I came here today for the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine…read more Roughly 30 seconds after receiving it, I felt light headed. A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was racing at 160. My blood pressure skyrocketed to 182/111. The young man also gave me a small bottle of water, which did not help. My vitals did not stabilize. He, nor the pharmacist who administered the vaccine were equipped, to help me. They did little for me. The young man said that he has an EpiPen but that my symptoms did not require use of one. Lastly, he did not even given me a glucose tablet when I asked for one. I thought my blood sugar was also low. I thought that I was going to die and called my next of kin. Thank goodness I had my phone with me. Staff called an ambulance, which came in about 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of the store in a stretcher and said that I likely have vasovagal syncope, which is a rare adverse reaction to the vaccination. The MD at LI Community did not formally diagnose me with that. Dr M. merely said that I had a "fast heart rate and racing pulse" in response to the Pfizer vaccine. An RN administered IV fluids and continuously monitored my vitals. Staff also gave me an EKG and withdrew some blood for testing. I spent four hours in the ER before my vitals stabilized. Lesson learned: ONLY GO TO A VACCINATION SITE THAT HAS AN EMS, AMBULANCE AND MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES. Google research indicates that Pharmacy staff is not equipped to handle severe reactions to any vaccine. I should have done my due diligence before I selected Walgreens as my vaccination site. Addendum: The pharmacist, Jenny, did call me the next day to check my status. She also informed me that she will be reporting this incident to VAERS, as required by Federal law.
