I've been to many Tropical Smoothie locations across the island. Some good some bad. I'll be honest before coming here and scanning through other helpers reviews I was definitely hesitant, but also pleasantly surprised that my experience here couldn't have been further from the negative ones on here. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, quick service (without sacrificing quality), HOWEVER I will say that because I go to so many of these locations & because I'm a creature of habit I get the same thing everywhere. This location was $3 more than what I pay elsewhere so not sure what that was about but not the end of the world. Overall, great experience. read more

Went through the app to try to get my money back and sent about 3 messages with 0 response. According to the corporate website the owner is the one who issues a refund. Love this cafe. Variety of smoothies are great. The manager for this location she is awesome very friendly always smiling. My favorite smoothie is get up and goji and avocalada. Long story short we were in there a few months ago and a young man working there had his mask around his chin at the counter and there were employees in the kitchen with no mask. My wife asked him to please put it on and he said he had it on. This is abridged but we were told to mind our business and go somewhere else if we didn"t like it. When it arrived, my first thought was "wow, this one is so much bigger than the one I usually get from Emma's". This smoothie must've had so much ice blended into it because I couldn't taste the veggies....only a hint of ginger. For this particular store, 5 stars all the way. It's THE best tropical smoothie store on Long Island, by far. There are a bunch of other ones around that are complete DUMPS. Not this one. This one is clean, has good help, and has fast service. My only issue is with tropical smoothie itself. How can you still be using Splenda in 2019 with all the data that's out there? The fact that tropical smoothie doesn't use stevia, xylitol, lo Han fruit, monk front, or some other healthier sweetener is a mystery. But that doesn't have to do with this particular store.
