From the second you walk in, it just feels homey--like everyone knows each other and you're instantly part of it. Nothing fancy, just good people and really good food. The gravy? Honestly some of the best I've ever had. Super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor. You can tell it's homemade, not from a mix. I was literally making sure I didn't leave a drop on the plate. The Texas scramble was SO good--big portions, packed with eggs, bacon, sausage, and smothered in that gravy. Total comfort food. And the chicken fried steak... wow. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and absolutely covered in that same amazing gravy. It's one of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. I decided on their seasonal drink, Jasmine Yuzu matcha. Oooh-Mmm-Geee, this has got to be one of my top favorite matcha drinks. I was able to taste the umami of all the ingredients in this holy grail. From the Jasmine tea syrup, matcha, and Yuzu citrus cream. It was such a symphony of flavors bursting in my mouth. I went on a Monday around 11 am and it was packed but it's also the summer time. The parking was very easy as it is located in a shopping plaza. My first impression when I was that it felt like a smoothie spot on the beach. I loved the garage door that completely opens with the swings and I also liked the indoor, bar and outdoor seating.
