They just block it off while hanging out doing nothing or another side of entire store. If this is the culture of RaceTrac, they just lost my business. I've never met a happier group of workers. They say hello when you come in, and are willing to answer your questions when you don't know how to use the coffee machine. They also seem to keep their roller items attended to (hot dogs, taquitos, etc). I've never gone in there and seen some nasty day old hot dog that looks like a slim Jim. It's a really nice gas station experience.

Pilot Travel Center is the way to go!…read more My husband is a true believe of Pilot Travel Center and they are always or go-to stop for cheap gas, clean bathrooms and great snacks. The bathrooms in this pilot were clean as always, but there aren't as many stalls as they have in other locations. Besides their usual snacks, this location also has a McDonalds and a Subway connected to the main building. This location also has a full section of Texas souvenir items, which I thought was pretty cool. Last but not least, gas prices were great as usual!

The old Circle K across from this store? Not as much. This place is in a strip mall and looks like the type of place where you try to cash checks, or spend your whole check on the Lotto, so I can see why many may pass it by. For those of you that like your convenience store to feel like a head shop - this is it! Electronic machines with "~store credit up to $5 only~" behind a wall but in the open? This is your place! Inside the display you will find Kratom, CBD, "Hemp Bombs," paraphernalia for "tobacco use only," and ashtrays. I don't partake in that wack toback, but I know that if I did, this might be my place. They have a really big wine selection for a store this size, and a good variety in that. They have all your standard gas station fare, and have some really interesting varieties of Nootropic or CBD infused Bang energy, Kratom sweet teas and some obscure aqua frescas. They open at 6AM, and shortly after opening you will find the owner spreading bird seed on the far corner of the parking lot. He always looks so happy doing it, and that makes me happy. The number of pigeons that show up is unreal. Sometimes they have so many show up that passerbys take pictures. Never a dull morning.
