To start the tiramisu cookies had wonderful coffee flavor, and the fresh, creamy frosting paired nicely. The chocolate chip cookies were soft, chewy, and had chocolate woven throughout. One of the best I've had! The olive cakes were good, well backed and had a delicate flavor. However, we weren't the biggest fans of the thyme flavor, but that's just our preference. The focaccia was deliciously savory, the toppings paired well with the bread without overtaking its flavor. Lastly, the showstopper, was the cinnamon roll. It was next level good, and I dare say the best I've ever had. The roll itself was soft, buttery, and full of cinnamon spice. The frosting was perfect, creamy with a delicate cream cheese flavor. I know I'm going to be craving it in the future. On top of the delicious baked goods, the interior was clean and had welcoming vibe. The employees were kind and helpful. The price for everything was $58, which makes sense with how expensive groceries are nowadays. And you're supporting a small, locally owned business. The chicken and biscuit breakfast was simple breaded chicken with no flavor on a basic biscuit. No sauce. No sweet heat. Just a choking hazard. I wanted some hot sauce for my omelette but had to wait 20 minutes just to ask for it. Instead of giving me hot sauce I got one of those white paper portion cups (like you get at fast food places) with a dollop of sauce. We took a long break from this place because they won't accommodate my handicapped mother-in-law for trivia night but decided to give it a go since we have a visitor this weekend. From the signs, it looked like a small local business, and we always enjoy supporting local entrepreneurs instead of the big chains, so we decided to stop. What a wonderful surprise! Twinkleberries is a Christian-owned business that shares a positive, uplifting message, something this world desperately needs. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff gave us attentive, personal service. There were already a few customers inside, and shortly after we arrived the shop filled up, which speaks well for this hidden gem. I ordered the Wagyu burger and a chai latte, and both were absolutely marvelous. My wife had the grilled cheese, a peach smoothie, and a London Fog. She has several food allergies and they were very accommodating to her needs. Everything was prepared to perfection and served with a warm smile.
