Always great quick stop for refreshments and snacks. Get a slurpee or a quick hot dog. Convenient free parking right in front of the door. This location has been here for years and always have quick check out. They're good about rotating their sandwiches to make sure they remain fresh. I was able to see a customer spill an entire slurpee and the employees were so efficient at cleaning it up and with no complaints or bad looks. That's always great. BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND CALL THE COPS ON YOU. I went in on 8/8 for the 1$ big gulp and while I was at the fountain I took 2 sips from the cup to try the soda, to make sure I wanted it as this place was filthy and dirty. So I continued to put more in the cup, Then when I go up to the counter with my cousin the big lady rings me up for one drink then once I tap the screen to pay, She changes it to show an additional charge for a refill and said that because I took a sip it was considered a refill. She then proceeds to cancel my pin entry to bypass the transaction and let the payment go through. I wasn't even finished translating what she was saying (Spanish is not my first language unfortunately) when she tells me to leave or she will call the police to trespass me. If I did not have my cousin with me I would have stayed and explained my side to the cops but I decided to leave as I am a non-confrontational person, I am already struggling as is in this economy so please as warning. It is not the first time that I have had this experience with this employee. He then intentionally gave us the wrong products that we were requesting. In key biscayne and cashier started flirting even after she was in the car my daughter had to go back because she had forgotten something and then he was sending messages using my eight year old daughter that she was beautiful and very attractive, this happen on Wednesday night 31st this past Wednesday night, it was a young guy, i think something should be done about this and even gave her a free soda thats giving something that's not yours the front of the stole the item to give it away .. read more

We seriously need a negative star option on this application. I have lived on Key Biscayne for almost a decade now and every couple years or so I give the 7-Eleven a chance at this location. And every couple of years I am even more disappointed with the service and the staff. They are rude and they act like they are doing you a favor and they are very ungrateful for your business. And this includes the franchise owner as well because I have spoken to him over the years.There are a couple employees that are the exception and they are the younger ones. But the rest of the staff are disturbingly rude people. Being a restaurant manager and bartender for 28 years I know what service is, but when I ask a question they roll their eyes and say "I don't know". I asked to see something behind the counter tonight because I didn't know if it was exactly what I was looking for and the Lady turned around, huffed loudly, snatched it off the shelf and then proceeded to throw it on the counter as if I was an inconvenience. Nothing nice about this experience in fact the service has gotten even worse. I've never seen something like this in my life. One thing they can be sure of is I will never go back to this location nor another 7-Eleven in my life. Absolutely disgusting. If you don't like your job then get another one that doesn't require you to deal with the public. And to the location manager take some pride in your store and stop depending on the fact that you're busy and making enough money therefore horrific service is adequate. This is my Go To pit stop during my workout walks/jogs, and biking. It's located in the shopping center. It's always pretty clean and the just remodeled the bathrooms and it's pretty nice. Way better than using the park bathrooms! They offer every type of snack. The sell hotdogs, wings, mini tacos, taquitos & so on. And they actually have one of the best pan de bono! They also have a coffee machine and serve coladas, cortaditos and café con leche. It's usually kinda busy with bicyclist. The staff that works there is usually the same people. All of them are friendly and always welcome everyone. read more

I never leave Yelp reviews but after the absolutely awful experience I had at a SEVEN ELEVEN I decided it's necessary. I was simply looking at snacks with my boyfriend (we are both 19 years old) and the black woman who works here screams at us from across the store "YOU NEED TO GET YOUR THINGS AND LEAVE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A HANGOUT AND THERE IS A CURFEW YOU KNOW?? GET YOUR STUFF AND LEAVE IF YOU'RE NOT BUYING ANYTHING GET OUT." I was in utter shock because me and my boyfriend were literally just standing in the store looking for what snack we wanted. We are also both college students and 19 years so I am not sure what "curfew" she is talking about. I told her to not speak to me so disrespectfully and that we were buying something and we were both adults and she cannot treat us like this, and she just ignored me and rolled her eyes. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a worker for absolutely NO reason at all. We were not being disruptive at all, just minding our own business. She then proceeded to scream at another costumer who asked a question about where the hot dogs were, and she was incredibly rude to this man and I felt terrible for him. I even took an audio recording of what was going on because I was worried things would escalate even further. There were 3 people working 5/24/20 12:30a.m. the men were very nice but the black lady was extremely rude,so I asked here what the issue was and she was extremely belligerent, kept interrupt me and was unable to extrapolate any thing i was saying,then she kept telling me my entire glass head cover was not permitted in the store,my hole head and face was was covered by a face glass and head fiberglass,any how she had no critical thinking skills and was unable to under stand the government regulations on face coverage. This is your typical go to place for fast shopping on the Key. I am impressed by the selection at this store. Plenty of beer and chips for a nice day at the beach. I also noticed they have a decent wine selection. Tucked in the back is a citibank ATM! Yay no withdraw charge since this is my bank. The worst service I've ever experienced. I walked out without even purchasing anything because I refuse to patronize a business that talks and treats their customers the way I was treated. A female (not worthy enough to be called a lady), by the name of Jessica, which apparently is the owner's daughter, was not only rude to me but to the delivery driver and her fellow employee. Her attitude is despicable and I feel sorry for her parents that own this store. If they continue to let her work there and/or run this place, they will surely go out of business. ATROCIOUS!!! Visited this store for a late night purchase and was met with very rude staff that spoke no English. After several minutes of trying to return an item that was charged incorrectly, the cashier handed me a slip to mail in for food stamp reimbursement (?!). After filing a complaint with the 7 eleven website, I received an email from the Dist. Manager apologizing and assuring me that action would be taken and inviting me to return to the store. I decided to give it a second chance and boy, . Someone must have said something to the staff because when I entered, one of the women who had been working the night of my initial complaint recognized me. Far from greeting me, or apologizing to me, or even saying hello, she turned and rushed to her friend and began chattering away in Spanish, glancing over at me. When I went to the register, she rang me up. She scowled at me the entire time, never greeted me (no hello or good evening), and the only thing she said was "cash back?" because I was paying with my debit card, and she didn't even look at me when she said it. When the transaction was done she shoved my items into a bag, turned and walked off...no "good evening", no "thank you". Nothing. I would mention her by name but she wasn't wearing any kind of name tag at all. I can tell you she was about 5'1" tall, stout, darker olive complexion, long hair, and a pinched face. I am not one who tends to complain...it takes a LOT to get me riled up, but this treatment is unacceptable. I am also not one of these over-wealthy vacationers on Key Biscayne...I am working in the area as part of an annual event, so I spend several months a year here working. I have worked retail.
