    Mini cone - great value!

Finally had a chance to try the peppermint bark flavor - was soo good! This location has super friendly staff and is kept very clean. Ice cream everywhere just seems to be so expensive lately but if you just want a reasonable amount of ice cream and don't want to spend too much, the mini cone or cup (which is what I got this time) is the perfect size and is about $6.

Peppermint bark cones are back! So good!

If you want to find the best ice cream in Coral Gables, this location is the place to be. The service is incredible despite a full location on Christmas Day. The negative reviews are often Karens who have never worked a day in their life because the employees, and especially the manager Pedro, are hard working, diligent, and amiable people. Their cakes are also to die for! Best ice cream and service I've had for a while, I love this Häagen-Dazs!

    It's Ice cream time!

Worst service of my life! The photo below was before I saw the bill. Beware! The yelp checkin water and coupon for a free cone doesn't apply hear when it's all in one check. I was charged $1.50 for the waffle cone and $3.20 for the water. The two girls working there spent 15 mins trying to figure it out with the manager. They never even apologized for making an error or try to make things better for me. I'm upset but mostly sad to see customer service is extinct here. Had I gone to Ben and Jerry's, they would have done a refund without skipping a beat. They ruined the whole ice cream experience for me for good because I will never go to that location again.

Took my son for some ice cream and we were not disappointed! Ice cream was delicious and they offered all kinds of toppings. Service was superb, the guy helping us out made the experience fun and exciting for my son. We will definitely be returning!

This is the third time this happens to me. I have ordered from this particular store twice before and the ice cream always comes half empty. We are located right next to them not even five minutes away and the ice cream is not melted because it's hard. They fill half the cup for me and my coworkers. It's the third time this has happened. Last time I ordered from a farther away store and the cup came full but they didn't have the flavor this time so I order from here. Honestly it's shameful that they charge you $10 and they give you HALF A CUP. i'm outraged right now

This Haagen-Dazs just opened on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables a few weeks ago. I was in this area with a group of 6 for dinner this past Friday night, and we decided to stop here afterward for dessert. Flavors were somewhat limited when compared to some other ice cream and gelato shops I've been to in the Miami area, but still, everyone was able to find something they were happy with. A regular scoop in a cup was $5.35, large scoops in a cup were $6.35. Dipped waffle cones and cups were $1.35 extra. All totaled, for the 6 of us, 2 getting cups and 4 getting dipped cones, 5 getting regular scoops and 1 getting large, the total with tax was $41.20. The quality of the ice cream was quite good, though the service was really without charm.

Prices: Kiddie $4.35, Regular $5.35, Large $6.35 This Coral Gables Haagen-Dazs shop recently opened up on Miracle Mile. The quality and service is about the same as most Haagen-Dazs shops. Being a brand new store, it is very clean and has a nice display of their offerings: ice cream, sundae toppings, and ice cream cakes. I always feel weird when they weigh the ice cream scoops on a scale if you order it in a cup. But I guess it's a good way to ensure customers get the correct amount of ice cream and that they are not losing profits. I just get forcibly reminded that I'm patronizing a corporate place when they do that. There a couple of tables outside and some limited seating inside.

I came by Haagen-Dazs as I came way to early to the nearby Miracle Theatre to watch the play, The Big Bang. I had over 45 minutes to kill and my family and I decided to eat some ice cream next door to kill time and get some yummmm on. My mother got a chocolate shake and my brother and I both ordered salted caramel truffle shakes. My mother Shake was delicious... my brother and I both tried ours and it was...watery and disappointing. I noticed when our shakes were being made she used the same amount of ice cream to make the shakes... and that's the problem. So my mother got some concentrated chocolate goodness... while my brother got a somewhat watered down version because she should have doubled the amount of ice cream as it was two shakes. I have had worse ice cream or shakes sure... but still I would have appreciated consistency.

I loved the topping bar; there's a lot of healthy options to chose from. I decided to add granola, raspberries, white chocolate chips and chia seeds. The froyo was sweet but refreshing all at once. I will say that I didn't realize that there were other toppings that you can drizzle on top. I wish I knew because I would've added a drizzle of one of the sauces/syrups they had. The froyo was about $1.39 per ounce from what I can remember. It ended up being about $26, which I can think can be a bit on the pricier side but it was lowkey worth it. Heads up, parking can be tricky, you can try to find street parking or park in the lot across the street. There is also a parking garage a block or so down.

The creamy ice cream a variety of flavor is including an option for my puppy simply makes for a perfect experience every time I stop by. Personally, I could go for the Chocolate Gooey, Brownie, and the Panther Coffee Chocolate Tres Leches every time and still think I had found ice cream heaven but I find it often necessary to go a script and try some of the other wonderful flavors, including the monthly specials. Sadly my dog is indifferent about the pup cup. Sometimes she's a huge fan and others she will turn her nose up to it. But never fear, the accommodating and wonderful staff is always willing to come through with a little dish of whipped cream that she will wolf down in seconds. Did I mention that that whipped cream is as good as homemade? When it lacks the old school ice cream shop, vibe and seems more touristy then I would like, it is still attractive and pleasant to be at in. The service is just so darn good that it matches the excellence of the product. Love it here and it's a must stop venue every time I am walking around in the Grove.

I went in already knowing what I wanted, and the chocolate brownie ice cream did not disappoint at all. It was rich, creamy, and full of deep chocolate flavor with great brownie pieces throughout -- definitely lived up to the hype. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the service. The person assisting us seemed like they didn't really want to be there and was a bit distracted chatting with coworkers instead of being engaged with customers. That said, the ice cream itself was excellent and worth the visit. I'd absolutely come back again, hopefully with a better service experience next time.

Sweet Melody makes all of their ice cream from scratch as well as any baked goods that go into it and toppings. They don't use any artificial colors or flavors. The 16 percent butterfat ice cream is made without egg yolks and can be described as having a rich and dense texture. An egg yolk French base is used for flavors like creme brûlée, key lime pie, and brownie batter. They offer creative signature, weekly, and seasonal flavors. I have enjoyed Sweet Melody ice cream at the Citadel in Little Haiti and at their Kendall location. I was really looking forward to coming to the Coral Gables shop which opened in October of 2022. Interestingly this location didn't open until 5PM. In any case the timing worked out perfectly for us and there is even free parking in the lot behind the store. We were the first ones in Sweet Melody's as they were turning on the lights and by the time we left, there was a crowd behind us. I wanted to visit this location because they have more of a variety of scoops rather than just selling the $12 pints. A single scoop of ice cream is $6.50. After a taste test I decided on the Strawberry Pop Tart but the Krispy Treatz was a close second. The Strawberry Pop Tart is a vanilla ice cream with homemade strawberry pop tarts. I really enjoyed the large chunks of flaky pastry filled with strawberry jam throughout the ice cream. I really wanted my ice cream in a waffle cone but was told that it would be an hour before the machine heated up to make the waffle cones! While I enjoyed my ice cream in a cup my friend bought a few of their pints to go. I ended up getting the Berry White pint along with her haul. Unfortunately my pint had none of the promised raspberry swirl. Sweet Melody's tastes like a care free summer. I love how they generally get the ice cream to mix in ratio just right for my taste. I like a little ice cream holding my sweet treats together. I wish they had all of the pint flavors available as scoops but no bueno. The June special Pina Colada Cake was really calling my name. I also discovered too late the incredible looking BDAY Cakewich made with cake batter ice cream in between slices of cake. Maybe next time.

The night I spent here, however, was not so sweet... I visited the establishment in hopes of a delicious treat and instead left overcharged with freezer burnt scoops and regret. Poor guy serving the scoops was friendly but clearly didn't know math when ringing customers up or how to properly manage his dairy products. From a taste perspective, that ice cream was horrible (odd because it's usually okay here) but food safety wise? Extremely unsafe. You know what they say about thawing food out and then refreezing it in a public establishment? Don't do it. Why? Risks of salmonella, E. coli, and much worse... a soiled palette! Not to mention lawsuits... Also, the sprinkles were improperly stored, they were out of toppings like chocolate syrup, they had no bottled cokes or waters, and the place had a creepy Elmo figurine dangling from the wall like it was his first and last breath on Earth. Don't even get me started on the ant-ridden benches and seatings. Overall, really poor ice cream quality, overcharged by mistake but there's no way this guy didn't know his scoops were freezer-charred.
