We visited the Häagen-Dazs location on Miracle Mile on June 13, 2026, between approximately 6:30 and 7:00 p.m., and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I have a serious nut allergy, and at most ice cream shops, employees are willing to take reasonable precautions, such as using a clean scoop and serving from a fresh container in the back to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. When we explained my allergy, the employee quickly told us that she could not accommodate it and immediately returned to watching the FIFA game on a laptop. Two young employees were working at the time, and despite there being only one other customer waiting, they seemed distracted, rushed, and more focused on the game than assisting us. I completely understand that a business may not be able to guarantee an allergen-free environment, but the lack of concern, explanation, or effort to assist was extremely disappointing. Had a cooling stop at the Häagen-Dazs in Coral Gables today. The place was super chill, clean, and had such a laid-back atmosphere. Val took my order and was incredibly kind, offering me several flavors to try. She almost convinced me to switch to the Irish Coffee flavor, but in the end I stayed loyal to my original choice: Caramel Cone, and it did not disappoint! One of the best parts of this location is the terrace seating, perfect for enjoying the beautiful outgoing yet relaxed vibe that Coral Gables has to offer. I was in this area with a group of 6 for dinner this past Friday night, and we decided to stop here afterward for dessert. Flavors were somewhat limited when compared to some other ice cream and gelato shops I've been to in the Miami area, but still, everyone was able to find something they were happy with. A regular scoop in a cup was $5.35, large scoops in a cup were $6.35. Dipped waffle cones and cups were $1.35 extra. All totaled, for the 6 of us, 2 getting cups and 4 getting dipped cones, 5 getting regular scoops and 1 getting large, the total with tax was $41.20. I always feel weird when they weigh the ice cream scoops on a scale if you order it in a cup. But I guess it's a good way to ensure customers get the correct amount of ice cream and that they are not losing profits. I came by Haagen-Dazs as I came way to early to the nearby Miracle Theatre to watch the play, The Big Bang. I had over 45 minutes to kill and my family and I decided to eat some ice cream next door to kill time and get some yummmm on. My mother got a chocolate shake and my brother and I both ordered salted caramel truffle shakes. My mother Shake was delicious... my brother and I both tried ours and it was...watery and disappointing. I noticed when our shakes were being made she used the same amount of ice cream to make the shakes... and that's the problem. So my mother got some concentrated chocolate goodness... while my brother got a somewhat watered down version because she should have doubled the amount of ice cream as it was two shakes. The ice cream is great but they are terribly understaffed. I've come by on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night which are the busiest on miracle mile. There's never more than one person working behind the counter and normally a long line of people waiting to be served. I've waited over 30 minutes each time. Considering sticking to Ben and Jerry's a few blocks down. The ice cream is great... that's why I'm giving it three stars. Writing this review in hope that the manager can staff appropriately. When this location first opened I was super excited mostly because its hard to find Haagen Dazs stand alone ice cream shoppes. They're scarce around South Florida. Only The Falls Mall (if still there), Bayside Marketplace, Aventura Mall and Dadeland Mall. I use to frequent the one on Key Biscayne and it closed down. Hence the excitement of the Miracle Mile location. I don't believe many people see it, as its a narrow location next to the theater. Downside here is that I don't believe they have found the right motivated staff to cultivate good retail management. One of the times I visited the staff member didn't know how to start the register, as she had just gotten to work and had to gift me the ice cream because she wasn't able to charge me. Another time a group of young gentlemen chatted away, while I waited to be recognized and greeted. Either way, I am a loyal patron because of the brand and product. I came in on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm 12/14. Customer service was very rude by the cashier a young girl named Veronica (?) I came in just for a mini ice cream because I wasn't looking to spend too much. I ask for specifically for a mini cone but they trick you into getting a bigger cone for "not much extra" and to get toppings without letting you know it's a lot extra. My ice cream was double the price! When the price rung up at cashier I told her I didn't know they would make it that much more expensive. I said I just didn't want to buy ice cream then. She kept insisting I absolutely had to buy the ice cream with the worst attitude and rolling her eyes. She went back and forth me for awhile insisting that I had to buy it with no choice. When I said I didn't expect it to be this expensive when she snuck in all the extras she rolled her eyes and said "you need to look at the menu". I was shocked how rude and disrespectful she was. She knew what she was doing trying to sneak it in. I'm not the type to write bad reviews but this was the worst customer experience I've experienced. I know it's difficult to deal with customer annoying needs or requests but when you work in customer service but shouldn't you at least try respectfully? After having lunch at Hill stone I came across this Haagen-Dazs location. I was craving my favorite mango sorbet (YUMMM). First time here & I must say the service was great. The staff was very attentive & friendly. I was happy to find they had these beautifully decorated ice cream cakes! I suprised my best friend with this cake for her birthday & she was super happy.
