Overall not a shabby place! Had what I need, sometimes it's a bit busy but that's a 7-11 for ya! They usually have what I need & are fairly nice each time I've been here. WARNING be careful of the timing when they scan your card, they skip the screen where you have two options showing skip and pay if u missed it they probably timed before when u went to open ur wallet. Terrible! Ever since the new management took over and got rid of the fantastic and amazing lady who used to work nights, who would do anything to help you, no matter what the circumstance was, it's awful. You have to repeat everything a million times, they mischarge you, they want to argue with you, they don't know how to count change correctly, they don't know the prices of things or how to use the registers. You don't get a greeting when you walk in they just stand there and stare at you. I will never come here again, it's too much of a hassle and a waste of my time, I used to come by here every night after work to get what I needed with zero problems, even if there were a bunch of people ahead of me. The air pump is not working reported to vendor offered to place an out of order sign and he declined. They charge for tire air. Make sure its working before inserting money... they don't care and he said it was not part of them to give a refund... its only $1.50... hence why the one star. read more

the food is always dried up and old, the past 4 times i ordered pizzas and taquetos ...they were old, the hot dog yesterday was all shriveled up....the will not bake a chesse pizza even when theres space for another flavor pizza...not helpful at all, quality doesnt seem to be a priority, the guy that works swing shift is alright, but all the others are not.....keep your food fresh....ebt ive been told doesnt work, hasnt for a long time...and if you bring any bills with any words or any marks they will not accept them either...i believe that is against the law...that store needs to be checked by several organizations read more

I like this 7-11 because women work here. Albeit they are usually out of my type of e-smokes. So I don't come here often but when I do I like having nice women help me. Not a surely man who could give two f's about me. They remodeled it from the former Valero and its a much nicer gas station and store. Gas is pretty convenient to get. I recognize that 7/11 is kind of based on doing as little as possible while also providing gas to buy but this is the only gas station I've ever been to, of any company, in any state, that doesn't have trash cans next to the gas pumps. They used to, but I assume the lazy ass workers thought, "how could we go through our day being even lazier?" "I don't know, maybe we can glue the gas pumps closed so no one can use them and put a chain on the door so no one can come in?" "Too far. Let's just get rid of trash cans." "That's a great idea. Yes, I do not care for this 7'11, I I've been going to the store for the past 4 years and they are really shabby. When there's specials at other 7-Eleven stores like buy one get one free or whatever the case may be, these people at this 7-Eleven you never the same sale that you get at the other 7-Elevens! They are just not trustworthy, I don't know if they're pocketing money and not reporting it or what. I went into this location at around 8pm to get a drink from the fountain. The floor was sticky, the trash cans were overflowing and there were out-of-order signs on the drink dispensers. So I went over to the slurpee side and got a green apple flavored slurpee instead. When I approached the cash register counter to pay for my drink, the attendant scanned my 7-11 app on my phone and scanned the drink. The 7-11 rewards screen did not pop up on the cash register, so I asked the attendant if I can use some of my reward points. The cashier mumbled some words about him already scanning my phone for points. I told him again that I wanted to use my reward points. Instead of answering my question; the attendant swiped my drink off the counter and told me to "go somewhere else". As I left the 7-11, I watched the belligerent asshole throw my drink in the trash can while I drove away. I've already had filed a complaint with 7-11 corporate on the attendant's behavior. The girls wanted a slurpee while I pumped gas, so I gave them a couple bucks to get one. They came back totally confused by the signs and prices of slurpees. I like 7-11 BUT....... I have been buying cigarette at 7-11 for a long time because they had good prices. So the other day I am in there buying my usual brand and they are 9.98. I asked "why?" and the clerk tells me oh didn't you know cigarettes just went up $2. No I did not know so not questioning it I purchased my $10 pack of cigarettes. I am at Walgreen's the next day and my cigarettes are only $7 still. So I went in again and asked why and they told me again they went up and I told them no they did not and can get them at any other store in town for the regular price. Even the 7-11 on Morello are only charging $7 so I am boycotting Alhambra Avenue for cigarettes and especially because they lie to me about it - raising the prices is on the management of that establishment and not the state so shame on you! read more

Worst 7-11 i have ever been to. Gas pumps down at least once a week. Never have hot food ready, boxes in case like there is food but when i order it im told they are empty and will take 5mins to cook. According to owner 7-11 told him to do it this way... wierd that no other 7-11 does it this way, id have to call bs. This 7-Eleven imposes an unnecessary health risk to all, especially seniors. Let me explain. I and numerous customers I've spoken with (and overheard at the cashier's counter) have had problems with gas pump technology: 1) credit card function frequently defaults to debit, requiring a PIN which many cards don't have, and 2) pumps more often than not do not provide a receipt. The resulting health risk is that when either the pay-at-pump function for receiving a credit card payment or later for prinitng a receipt for that credit card purchase fails to work properly, the customer must enter the small store (which requires masks but posts no limits on how many customers are allowed inside at any given time). If both functions fail, customers must enter the store twice! I attempted to discuss this problem with a short red-haired man who said he was the "general manager." He told me his name was "Will" but refused to provide his last name, a business card with his name and business email, or even the store owner's name (he said there is no owner...just corporate). "Will" was arrogant, argumentative, unreceptive, and really just plain uninterested in my concerns. He argued the problems were essentially customer user error with credit cards and that all pump receipt functions were checked regularly and frequently by employees. This did not match up with what cashiers and other non-management employees on the front lines have told me over time. They've said things like: We aren't allowed to go to the pumps after the manager leaves. We can't fix receipt problems because we're told stocking the shelves comes first. At night, only one of us is on duty and we can't leave the cash register. I've gotten in trouble for going out to work on the pumps. Eventually, I gave up on store level management and sent a detailed account of my concerns to 7-Eleven corporate. I received an email non-response from some person at corporate (again a person refusing to identify themselves by first and last name) "Your case has been created. Someone will assist you soon." When "soon" came and went, I followed up with several emails asking exactly who is responsible for reading my email and "assisting [me] soon". Corporate responses were pretty meaningless: " The case CS0701126 has been updated and it is under review." "The case is under review by the Store Management department and they will communicate all the answers to your questions." Really? I had to write to corporate because "Store Management" was not interested in my concerns. And finally, speaking of Store Management's lack of concern, when I first spoke with "Will", he countered my concerns by saying 7-Eleven regularly sends surveys to their "preferred/rewards customers" who overwhelmingly give favorable responses. I suggested these "rewards" customers might not represent all customers. I then asked if he followed YELP reviews of his store. He replied something to the effect, "Oh I don't read those. They're just a bunch of angry people." And I thought, but did not say, "Perhaps those people are angry because they have something to be angry about. Why would you not want to know what your least satisfied customers think so you can improve customer experience?" The final straw prompting this post was that Iwas just unable to get gas or purchase anything because they're 'having a shift change'. Health hazard, filthy just disgusting bathroom. I don not know about the rest of the store cleanliness, as I would not touch or buy anything food related after seeing the disaster. Clerk dishonest, prepaid for the gas ($30), the pump stopped at $ 21 and some cents. Went back to the store to get the new receipt and was told that, the difference will automatically go back to my card. Had no time to check the very pale receipt but later was able to see that on the receipt says the clerk suppose to give the new one if there is a difference. read more
