BEWARE! Zero stars. Terrible service and even worse customer treatment. I drove over 15 miles for a "complimentary" wash that was promised over the phone, only to be met with a condescending attitude and RACHEL literally raising her voice at me. Completely unprofessional. I've been a repeat customer and have referred my husband, my dad, and friends here but after my last two visits, I'm done. Both recent times, the service wasn't completed to satisfaction. One visit, my back seat carpets weren't vacuumed, crumbs left everywhere. Both times, only the driver-side tires were dressed. For $50, I expect the full service listed on your menu not half a job. When I came back to redeem the promised wash, they refused to honor it. If that was the case, say that on the phone. I had explained over the phone that this was a free wash and I was still having issues. I was told on the phone to mention it and they would take care of it when I returned. Instead don't waste my time and gas just to turn me away once I'm in person. Yes, I asked for two free washes because both times the service was not done correctly. That's not unreasonable, that's holding you accountable. I also paid for at least 3 washes prior to this when the service WAS DONE correctly. Being talked to like I'm the problem when your team didn't deliver is unacceptable. No wonder the rating is so low. Do better. Treat customers with respect and actually complete the service you're charging for. I will be contacting my bank for the last wash I did pay for. read more

Horrible! I spent $169 to get my car washed and clay bar wax treatment. They did an awful job. I ran short on time so o didn't inspect it before driving back home which was my mistake. They left wax on my car, there were still bugs and bird crap all over the car. I took a couple of pics then gave up because I was so frustrated and needed to hurry and clean it because I had other things to to do. The workers were nice but I'm never going back. read more

This has never been the best car wash but it's been ok for the price but the "car wash" I supposedly received today will have me going elsewhere. I paid for a wash, and when I got home there was still bird crap all over my car, the roof hadn't been touched and there was dirt all over the inside. I called them and the lady was not apologetic whatsoever, just told me to come back, which I did. When I arrived she told me I was getting extra vacuum, the roof would be done and a free hand wax for my troubles. Which was very nice but still no apologies or anything just matter of fact like this happens all the time. After the second car wash, the car was shiny from the wax but there is still bird feces on it, the roof is a little better and none of the problem areas inside were touched. I don't have time to spend 2 hours and multiple trips when I want to get my car washed only to have it still be dirty. I wont be coming back. Usually just my card but added on interior cleaning for 50.00 as well. Dust all over my touch screen splotches all over the dash. It's like complete rip off for that price. I purchased the Car Wash package at the Walnut Creek Location on a Saturday back in May. The cashier asked if I would like to pay for the VIP package and just use the car wash two times a month and it pays for itself. Not a bad deal if you want to keep your car clean with little effort. So, I went to the Walnut Creek location for a few weeks. They do an excellent job. Since I live in Martinez, I thought I would try the Martinez location. They did a great job and, at the beginning of July, I started using the Martinez almost every Saturday. That is until last Saturday. I was in line, the woman who checked my car in, who has always been great, checked me in and came to me and said, "Honey, did you know your plan is only Monday-Thursday?" She then offered to add the Friday and Saturday on to my account for an extra $10 a month. I then explained to her that I have been a member of this "club" for months and I have only come on Saturdays. And for the last two months, I have had my car washed on Saturday in Martinez and she was the one that has helped me. She shook her head and said, "Uh, noo." I told her to cancel the membership. She asked why and I explained I work Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm, 30 miles away from Martinez. A car wash plan that is Monday through Thursday is worthless to me and I am not spending an additional $10 a month, when I can just show up on Saturday every other week and have my car washed for the same price. She offered me a "free" wash "this time" and I could think about it and let her know next time. I went and sat down as I received my complimentary wash, which I had already paid for with an automatic payment out of my bank account days before. I got up and canceled my account since that was the inevitable outcome to this joke. I imagine if I ever get a chance to be off of work in the coming days, I'll be able to use my M-Th car wash since I was given zero refund for cancelling my account which was paid just days before, but looks like I just wasted $60 for this month. Like I said, they do a pretty decent job at this car wash, but the whole bait-and-switch of their sales tactics really left a bad taste in my mouth. I would say, read the fine print if you are presented with one of these plans. The problem is, there is no fine print. You are presented with the plan verbally, they take your credit card and hand you a little "membership card" and you are off on your way. Live and learn I guess. read more

I bought the monthly membership which allows me unlimited full service car washes. I think it's the best deal in town. The guys do an incredible job on cars. I think what I like best is how well they clean the wheels. I have chrome rims and it takes extra effort to make chrome gleam but they do it every time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

First time going to this particular location. The service was fast and the guys working there did a wonderful job, mind you it was 100 degrees outside! They have a bench to sit down in the shade while the service is being performed. I recommend if you like to keep your vehicle clean and life keeps you busy purchase there vip pass. You can use it at all there locations as well as get 10 dollars off for other vehicles you may own that are not registered to the card. read more

They do an OK job though I frequently have to ask them to finish drying certain areas of the exterior or point out they forgot to finish vacuuming certain parts of the interior when they hand me the keys back. It's better than my local place so I'm usually willing to drive a little out of my way to get there. However, they raised their prices again (by $2 for their most basic wash) within the past month so it now costs $37.95 before tip for the basic wash & interior cleaning which makes it harder to continue justifying the cost. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband and I brought our Subaru Forester there to be washed, we chose the 40 dollar wash and tipped $10 which should have included an outside dressing of the car. The total time from start to finish was less than a half hour. Now, that would be a good thing if they actually cleaned my car. Before we left, I noticed some "water spots" from from the usual places water will run from when you get your car washed (side mirrors, trunk door, etc) which is fine I know that happens. However when we got home (and we live less than a mile way from the car wash) it was a whole different story. There were still noticeable dirt marks and residue all throughout the car, the wheels were half cleaned, the tire dressing spilt onto the wheels, windows still were not cleaned, the interior was barely wiped down and vacuumed, etc. You can see for yourself in the photos attached. Anyway, I was very upset so I decided to drive the car back up to the car wash, told the employee who checks in the cars (Rachel) I believe her name was, and told her about my dissatisfaction with the car. I was met with the response of, "well we can't clean the water spots so if you wanted that you should have bought this wash), when I mentioned the interior being barely wiped down I was met with again, "Well if you wanted the interior dressing you should have bought this wash". When I pointed out the dirt and other areas the car was not cleaned she stated, "well I can run you through again and just have your exterior done". Now, call me crazy but I paid 40 dollars for less than 30 mins at the car wash and the car obviously was not cleaned and there were some major issues to be told I should have done this or that and to be told they could clean my exterior again but that wouldn't be a guarantee it would fix the issues. So rather than waste my time again hoping they would do a good job cleaning the car again, I left the car wash and decided to fix the issues myself. And guess what? Those "water spots" I had to buy a whole other wash for? Came off with a little bit of elbow grease and a standard quick detail spray, my interior, just took a few minutes to wipe down (after it allegedly was already "wiped down". My windows? Sprayed with some auto glass cleaner and guess what? No more water spots, streaks, or marks! I can go on but the point is I should have to have done any of that if I got the proper clean I payed for in the first place. I wash not asking for much, I just wanted to be done right in the first place, only to be met with blatant disregard for the mistakes, turning it back around on the customer, and an insufficient cleaning job by the employees. Love this place. It is always busy, and for good reason! The workers do their best and my car comes out smelling great every time. Even with being super busy, turn around time is about 25 minutes at most. The girl who checks you in is always so kind. They have a month VIP card that also gets you about 12 cents off gas which is a nice little touch. read more

Most the time I have no complaints about this car wash. They do a pretty good job except when it comes to the queue it's horrible. Cars are lined up on the boulevard trying to turn in to the driveway but there are so many cars waiting to be processed by the cashier and hardly any cars that are being dried and cleaned by the workers because of the bottleneck. I'm afraid to say this business is poorly managed in that regard. I think they cut back on staff during the rainy season in there left flat-footed and people have to wait an hour to get the car washed. Don't understand why they don't hire another cashier. Saving $15/hour wages is penny wise and pound foolish. I saw 3 customers give up and leave frustrated. read more

Went there for a car wash just now and was denied because the tires were "too big". But 2 weeks ago they ran it through just fine no problems at all. Then the cashier lady (dont remember her name) was rude and proceeded to tell us to go somewhere else. I understand truck size and tires they don't want to cause damage to their equipment or the vehicle but when it has already been through the wash without a single problem and you deny a service saying it's never been through the wash before basically calling us liars is completely unacceptable I will never recommend this place or return. read more

They've got a great crew and most importantly, my car gets thoroughly washed and cleaned per selected package. They even offer an unlimited monthly car wash package that includes discounted gas. A client of mine gave me a 69 dollar gift card to get my car "detailed" here. I'm a dog walker so, this was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, I think I paid 89 dollars including tip for a car wash only. I don't expect them to get the car perfect, or all the dog hair out. However, the doors are still dirty and they didn't even bother to vacuum the carpet a bit. The tires are still dirty. Once again I don't expect it to be perfect but the doors and a quick vacuum can get some of the stuff out. I think the guys are working hard but the expectation to have a car "detailed " in 15 min is unrealistic. Would never go to this place again. read more

I've come here for the last year or so. I have a membership for $48/month for unlimited car washes any day of the week. I love it because I am a contract driver. It's such an easy way to keep my car cleaned and maintained for my passengers. I drive up and in less than 30 mins I have a clean, shiny, vacuumed car. Now don't have the expectation that this is going to be some perfect luxurious detailed car wash every time. There will be some details that are just missed. You're paying a very low amount for a very valuable service (seeing as most gas station car washes are like minimum $7-$10 a wash). The Autopia business model is sustained through efficiency. Their goal is to turn over as many cars as quickly as possible. The actual cleaning service wouldn't garner five stars on its own. But combined with the convenience, the cost, the efficiency (in and out in less than 30), and the kind staff, this is a service that I will continue until I move out of the area. And if you take care of the guys they will take care of you! I try to always tip well and on occasion I bring drinks and treats to share with them on hot days.
