Round the corner from Sportsplex where I used to play, this is an average Noco with some friendly employees. The gas prices are a little higher than average, but it's open fairly late, moreso than most of the gas stations in these parts, so I'd often end up filling up here after late games (after driving to Sportsplex with an empty tank of gas because people I shared the car with always left it that way). It's conveniently located near BK and Payne's Restaurant, right on Payne. I'd love to tell you more about it but I have a Payne in my writing hand.

Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. I've even had a sandwich from here recently when my favorite restaurant is closed down for a few weeks. Not bad at all. My previous review: I used to think this was called "Convent" and would come here looking for cute nuns, because I always wanted to date a Nun, but then who doesn't? I've been to this store many times, as I used to live right around the corner. Lots of cute girls shop at this store (Willow Ridge is the street of cute girls, btw), that is one of my defining memories. Another is that the prices are a little lower than you'd expect for a convenience store in a rich suburb, and they have some more interesting selections. Service is really nice, and after awhile, the guy knew my name. I doubt he does anymore because I moved away. It's a useful convenient store near Willow Ridge on NFB that sells all kinds of random stuff at typically marked up 7-11 prices, and helps the local community avoid trips down to Wegmans and the now-closed Walmart that was close by. It was exactly as the name suggests: convenient. With very friendly employees, too. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop. Oh wait. No. It's Adler. A German restaurant. Yes that's it.

When she got back I told her that I was sorry I got cash back. She proceeded to tell me she already gave me 10 dollars. She never gave me ten dollars she got upset and started yelling at me. She called the manager and still yelled when I told her it's 10 dollars I'll get it from the ATM and deal with it tomorrow. She ended up giving me the 10 dollars after yelling a bunch. Clearly on the video the manager can see what happened. I've never had a problem with any person from 711 this was ridiculous and should have never happened.

It was on the corner where I used to work (kind of) and used to live (nearby), and it featured prominently in a major incident. I was involved in a car crash last time my mother was here... I wasn't driving. My mother will be visiting this summer for the first time since this crash actually. We had a couple of people in the back of the car who were riding in, basically, the SUV trunk, illegally. Thankfully they weren't injured, but the cops were coming, so they had to hide out somewhere and it was midwinter and way below freezing. This gas station allowed the 2 in the trunk to hide out until the cops came and went, and we appreciated that because all kinds of people could have gotten in all kinds of trouble otherwise. And no I'm not worried about Yelp snitches... do whatever you want and I hope it helps you sleep at night knowing what kind of crap you reap on other people. :) But thank you to the wonderful employees here for helping us out, and even though your gas is usually too expensive as is your convenient store, you get a solid 4 for that. This gas station, though, is usually way too busy. Like my gf's thingy.

No-Cal is better than No-Co. I mean, No-Cal has the Avenue Of The Giants, has Crescent City, has…read more(not Otis) Redding, it has a lot of beautiful coastline and Mount Shasta... I mean, it has so much going for it. Whereas No-Co just has, um... gas pumps. This is the UB North location of NOCO in the sense that it's always filled with college students. The reason it scores lower than other NOCOs is because it has the same issues (slightly overpriced, and too busy), but with the added caveat of having one particularly unpleasant (male) cashier that seems angry every time you get something rung up by him. The other employees are okay. But there are much cheaper places to get gas anyway (try the reservation out by Akron).
