The downside was that the rice milk was WAY beyond expired, I didn't realize it until today when I was trying to have some and it tasted funny to me. Personally, I would give these people a C- because it seems to me that they don't check their products often enough to see if they're still good or not. Other than that, the service wasn't too shabby, employees were very polite and all that, it would just be highly appreciated if they checked their products regularly because as a grocery employee myself, it is very critical that they are not selling expired groceries to their customers, ESPECIALLY elderly people and children, because it can make people really sick

ampm is my favorite convenience store in Oak Harbor…read more But the gas at Arco is more expensive than some other places, so I usually come only for the convenience store. ampm actually sells hot food that doesn't actually take like crap, like they even have a kitchen in the back. Try the 3 pack peanut butter cookies, they're the best non-homemade peanut butter cookies I've have. They have no reason to be this delicious, but I'm not complaining. But my favorite part by far is the rewards program on the app, it's great, just get the ampm app and you get so much free stuff. Also for every dollar spent you get a "scratcher" on the app, so you can win free drinks and snacks and things. They also have 89¢ large fountain sodas, so with tax it's still under a dollar. Never get the bottled soda at gas stations, they're smaller and more expensive, this is at all convenience stores, not just ampm.

I stood at the empty counter for 10 minutes ("Pick Up" line is where you go for vaccinations.) A couple employees passing by did say "I'll be right with you." Eventually the counter was staffed and I was asked to fill out a form on a clip board. The form was the same one I'd been enticed to complete on-line as a way of saving time. I filled out all the same information again, and turned it in. Other people presumably waiting for vaccinations stacked up behind me, eventually 4 deep, outside the private consulting room where they give shots. Nobody went into that room, and nobody came out. I was first in line for my shots. But they apparently did not have anyone on staff who could give shots. 40 minutes after arrival I told the guy in line behind me good luck and left. With the drive, this was a waste of an hour and forty minutes of my time. On the way out I almost bought a bottle of Bactine, but figured I'd not reward them for wasting my time. I found the identical product at Wal-Mart for $5 less. On the positive side, this store is better stocked (post Chapter 11 filing) than the store in Freeland. Not great, but better.

These hard working guys are simply the best. The car is spotless once they are done and it lasts. I get a wash once every 3 months and for some reason the car stays clean longer than others I have used. Best car wash in the area and the personal service is without a doubt the best.
