You said you have been there 50 years and you don't have any curbs. So, I attached a copy so you can see your curb. You said you wanted to know who I was. That you couldn't find any invoices. Over the last 2 weeks I called and left my number numerous times and even sent you a note, but never got a call back. I had all my invoices to discuss. Read your responses to your x-customers. You are an angry man sir. You don't care what they think. But you lash out at them ensuring we won't come back and will share that opinion with others. Why in the world it took you 2 years to respond to my post is really awkward. You should be on top of it and try to bring those customers back. I have 5 vehicles I will not bring there again. Went in because my car truck was bouncing along the road, hard to drive. One of the mechanics backed my truck up and my wife saw him ram the side of my front tire into the curb. I told them but was told no damage. I got a call later saying tie rods and etc. need replacing and it would fix the problem. After paying, I drove the truck back home and although the steering was tight, the car still bounced around the road. I had to wait 2 weeks to get it back in. They did an r/r on the back right Stabilizer and told me the tires were the problem and if I bought new tires from them it would fix it. I left. I crawled under the truck when I got home to check what they did. Right stabilizer was same old one. Called and was told they removed and replaced but didn't find any issues with it. Upon a further close-up look I saw oil stains on all the shocks. Good grief. I just needed shocks. This gets better. I went to Schwab to ask about putting 4 new shocks on. $168 for each shock and about an hour plus work to install each one. Wow, Like $1,400? I ended up buying a full set of nice Monroe gas shocks on a prime day for $185 for all 4. Schwab wouldn't install since they didn't sell me the shocks. Went to Precision on Goldie. Really nice folks. The we're glad to install the shocks. Quoted me 2.5 hours, then charged me for 1 hour to install all 4. It's only 2 bolts he said and they came off easily I was told. The new shocks fixed the issue. I have them service my other cars now and a few months later bought a nice set of tires for the Silverado. read more

Had them do oil change for VW Diesel. They used the wrong oil even after I warned them that VW specs a specific oil for their diesel engines. They also claimed my air filter was completely clogged and needed to be replaced. I had just replaced it minutes before taking the car there myself so that was just a flat out lie. I had to change the oil myself the next day after I found out they used the wrong oil. It appeared they never even replaced the oil filter. Will never go back. I think many of the positive reviews you see on Google reviews must be fake. So basically this is just a dishonest business I would avoid at all cost. read more

Told me my 2 hour wait was because they had the wrong part. Wish they would have told me sooner. Owner said the reason is because of the people who worked on the car previously. Not sure the reasoning on that statement. I said I couldn't wait any longer Then when I asked him to put my car back together he called me a stupid fkn customer. I thought he was going to throw a punch. Called me dumb and lobbed a few more insults. Screamed and hollered some more and stormed off to the shop. Went there when I had coolant leaking bad on a 1999 ford Crown Vic. Asked them to find the leak. I was told I needed a new radiator for $350. Thanked them and decided to replace it myself, as it is an easy repair. When I pulled the radiator hoses off to change it out, I noticed the hose to the thermostat housing was cracked (thanks Ford for plastic engine parts), so it ended up needing a new intake manifold. At least I didn't waste my money getting a new radiator from them, so I guess my experience wasn't all that bad! read more

This place is amazing. I got back from a deployment with only a few days before I had to drive across country. My ac stopped working and there was no way I could make the drive without it. Called them and explained the situation, they told me to bring it in the next morning and they would have it done by noon. They did just that! All the other shops had estimated it would take a couple days but Hilltop got it done in a few hours for an amazing price. Super friendly and great staff!! My first oil change there I got their star service. The next day my car was low on brake fluid. There are no leaks as I filled it myself and the level been good for weeks. I gave them one more chance today and asked them to change two low beam headlights. They said the service would be$15.95 but when i had my own headlights they said the same service would be $20.00 and some change. I've changed the headlights before myself and I confirmed twice with o'reilly's that they were the correct bulbs. H11 for the low beams on an Acadia. They told me "they tried to change them and they didn't fit." They finished the oil change, spilt oil beneath the filter, so it wasn't covered properly. I was skeptical enough that I made sure my oil filter was right before I left. At least they did that right. They must not have had the time to change them since it's about 15 mins per bulb. They should have been upfront and said they did not have time. I would have been fine with the truth and been a returning customer again. Be careful if you go here they are quick and sloppy and possibly slightly dishonest. read more

Critical: Professionalism I called yesterday about getting 4 tires mounted and balanced on my pickup. I initially spoke to a female who handed me off to who I can only assume was the owner, he asked me a series of questions about vehicle model and if they were new or used tires to which I replied they were new and he started running his mouth off at me asking why the place I bought them from didn't install them? I told him I bought them from an online retailer "tire rack" and that I had them shipped. Then talked down at me insinuating I was stupid for not buying my tires from them and asked what size of tire they were which I didn't know off cuff "I'm not mechanically inclined" had to go look on sidewall. He cut me off multiple times and continued to run his mouth. It's a shame that they only care about making a buck off the good people of this town and not their customers. MILITARY BEWARE!! The fucking balls on these people, they will give you shit customer service and from what I've read here shoddy maintenance don't fall for their low prices, all you are is someone to take advantage of. I'm going to the base tomorrow to see that this place gets put on the list of establishments to stay away from they would have a field day with the young servicemen and women. read more

This business has got to be the sorriest excuse for an auto repair shop i HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO hire for services. The owner,Phill, was not only disrespectful, and rude, but downright ornery,and slanderous...! When I asked him how long it was going to take, (ballpark estimate) He said and I quote" I'll tell ya what,ill have you out of here in 15 min, and I'll make sure we do a half ass job". So, as angry as I was I bit my tongue and walked away. Took my Pontiac G6 in for Air Conditioner service. $79.95 for service + Freon and air still blows hot. Spoke with office and was told they could do AC diagnosis for $79.95 which I agreed on. End of the day I call and the technician has no idea and was unable to diagnose the issue, was told to take it to the Chrysler dealership for further testing. $200 with no resolution. Luckily summer is short here. Office people are nice. read more

Had an appointment to have my brakes checked at no charge. Knew I had an issue with the emergency brake which they fixed. They gave me a readout of the percentage of brakes I had left which was very easy to read. They also tightened the clamp on my battery cable at no additional charge. I've always had excellent service from this company. read more

Stopped there today for an oil change...quoted $39.95 by one of the techs. Time to pay...$55.19. The extra charges? An extra quart of oil, some $1 fee, an oil filter, and tax. The charge for an extra quart bothered me, but I can deal with that since me vehicle takes 6 quarts. They should know that and quote accordingly, but whatever... The one that really gets me tho is the oil filter. I'm there for a freaking oil/filter change, why is the filter not included in the quoted price? Ridiculous! I was about to return immediately with my wife's vehicle which also needs an oil/filter change, but you can bet your ass that I'll be heading elsewhere. Update: So I reviewed other oil change places on this island that I'm stuck on and they're pretty much all terrible. So I returned to this place because they were quick, did a good job, and vacuumed the vehicle. I also spoke to the tech about my charges. He stated that my vehicle has a canister oil filter which is an extra charge and that they do not charge extra for "normal" oil filters. I bumped them up to three stars from one. They should still notify customers of added charges in advance. Changing oil is their business, I'm sure they know which vehicles have a higher capacity or use "abnormal" oil filters. read more

I brought my Enterprise rental car in for a required oil change and the lady at the counter was super friendly as soon as I stepped in the door. She was helping another customer but made it a point to acknowledge me and that she'd be with me soon. I really appreciate that small gesture. I explained my situation with the car being a rental and was told to bring it to them and she knew exactly what I was talking about and said she'd get me taken care of. It seemed like I had just sat down in the waiting area, which was clean and had popcorn and coffee available and stuff for kids to play with, when the service tech came and said my car was ready. The lady at the counter has my receipt and keys ready with a smile. My car was vacuumed and ready to go in 20 min and I am very impressed with the service I received here. read more

I have been there several times in the last 2 years and have always had good service, NOT TODAY 12/22/20 @ 2:45.pm. I stopped in on this day because my truck was having a hard time starting and I thought it was probably the battery, I called ahead to make sure they had the right battery for me. I got there at 2:45 pm. and noticed there was no other customers waiting so I thought great this should be fast !! At 3:15 I thought WTF ! I got up and looked out the window and my truck was still in the same parking space!!!! FINALLY at 3:30 they finished!! Normally a tec will come into the waiting room to tell you what they did !! NOT TODAY !! when I paid my bill I mentioned this to the cashier and she went out and talked to the tec then came back and said yep, it was the battery, I asked what took so long and why didn't the tec come and tell me ! STAY AWAY. ! This place is a complete rip-off. Paid for a front end alignment and front end still shimmed. Took it to Les Schwab and their alignment fixed the shimmy. LS said the wheel toe was completely out and I would have ruined my new tires. Went back to Hilltop and owner said Les Schwab was lying about the front end. NO REFUND and owner said "get the **** off my property." Hilltop also said I needed new rear brakes, but front brakes were fine. Had Les Schwab check that also and what do you know. My left rear brake pad was completely gone. They showed my to verify this. So I had them also replace the rear brakes. BTW, the front brakes were fine. Hilltop also said Les Schwab was lying about the brakes. GO FIGURE STAY AWAY from Hilltop! read more

Spent $1000 getting my clutch replaced and got a dollar off gas per gallon Now for the cons When I dropped my car off on Thursday they said hey Saturday end of day. This was Shannon that I spoke too, cool thanks! Call maybe Friday found a leak gotta replace it, cool, will I still have my car on Saturday? Yes... Saturday at 430pm rolls around and I call them, apparently my car won't be ready till Monday by noon. Like really? 1. You don't think to call and update your customer?! And 2. Shannon was so rude with me about how she's not the tech and she's just the lady at the front desk... Get my car back, new clutch, now 1,3,5 gears won't stay in gear, didn't have this problem prior so I take it back and the long of the short is now I need a new transmission, the shop didn't do anything wrong, it must have slipped out of gear before and I never noticed?! Are you kidding me? Really? Took my car to another place... apparently Hilltop didn't seat my counsel back properly... they fixed it quickly and now I have no problems and didn't need a new transmission read more

I have been bringing my vehicle here for routine service. When I needed to have some repair work done, I figured that I would take it there. Three days after the repairs I began to notice that it was making the same noises as it did before the repairs. When I took it back, two weeks after the repairs had been done, to have them check it, they said that the same part needed to be replaced; in addition to more work. I explained to them that I just had them do the repairs. After the technician looked at the previous invoice he said that the part would be covered under the warranty. Now I'm out more of the little time that I have on the weekends because they failed to do quality control. Needless to say, I will no longer be taking my vehicles there for any repairs. They only reason that I gave them 2 stars was because they are relatively quick at their oil changes. read more

Soooo....my husband took my 2 year old car into this shop to check the brakes. They told him that my car needed front brake pads and rotors a price over 300.00. That the brakes were on metal . Well today another business advised that the pads and rotors are perfectly fine. They will last at least into next summer. Shame on you for offering free brake check and then trying to sell unnecessary service. read more

I have had my oil changed here a couple of times without incident, although they did note that it should be changed in 3,000 miles when the manufacturer (Toyota) recommends 5,000. Made an appointment to have a couple of lights put in. They took an hour to do so, and worked on the cars of others ahead of me even though I had an appointment. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH AUTO REPAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. IF i could rate them as a zero that is exactly what they would get. I took my car in for a timing belt issue on Monday and I didn't get it back until late after noon Friday. During this experience, they never called me to let me know what was the status of my car and each time I called, the Rep. said that she would have someone to call me. This never happened. No phone call or anything. Finally I talked to a person/ manager by the name of Phil on Thursday and he informed me that my car would be ready by the end of the day. I called several times towards the end of the day, trying to see when my car will be ready and I kept getting the run around. So I called at 5:30 pm and finally talked to someone and she informed me that Phil would call me back. This never happened. At this point I am very frustrated. I gave up. Around 8pm a rep called me back and informed me that they need to do some tests or further evaluation to make sure everything is good to go and I would get it back Friday Morning. I called Friday morning and of course they didn't have it ready. I didnt get my car back until 4pm in the after noon and they wanted to charge me more money than what I was handed in writing. I am outraged at this point. So I get in my car drive it to my location and notice that my car was over heating. So I parked the car, called them and adviced them what was going on. Phil came out to my location the next day to see what the issue was. He popped the hood and wanted to drive the car back to the shop. I adviced him that he should nt do that because it will over heat and may damage some other part. DUHHHHH!!!!! So he decided that he was going to bring his flat bed truck to tow it. On Friday I told Phil that I had talked to one of the Mechanic there and I adviced him that there was a drip pan under my car with radiator fluid in side. The guy replied, "Oh that is okay, we had to drain and replace the fluids after changing your timing belt". When I told him this he advice me that I should go to a 3RD party to get another opinion. WHAT!!!!! At this point he is not taking the responsibility of owning up to they mistake. He told me that it was not his problem and he is not going to fix the car. They have not heard the last of me or from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again if I have not told you in the review. After paying $30 for a headlight bulb at AutoZone and hoping to put it in myself or have an employee there put it in, I found out the bulb that needed replacing was in a spot that would require more work to get to. It was suggested I come here so I wouldn't be charged a high amount for something I should be able to do myself. First estimate was 1 1/2 hr to replace the bulb at $62 an hr. Disappointed but needing it done since it gets dark so early I agreed. Luckily I saw my car was done about 15 min later but then I sat around for about another 15 min for invoicing. When I saw the bill was $44 I asked why since it was no where close to an hour. I was told that the technician used to work at VW so he knew the trick to getting it done faster and I was charged for half an hour. I'm grateful that he was able to get it done faster and that they were honest by not pretending it took an hour but it didn't take a half hour and even if it did half of $62 is $31 not the forty they charged before taxes. Basically I was also charged labor for the time they took to print how much I owe them. read more

Dishonest. So I went there initially to get my oil changed they did so and soon after my oil fitlter seal blows dumping all my oil. Luckily i was close to home. I called them to remedy the situation and so they sent someone out to install a new oil filter. With in a couple days of minimal driving the oil filter seal blew yet again. This time i called them asked them to tow the vehicle and once again fix the problem and verify there was no engine damage. Pretty reasonable however I got back a very disgruntled "okay." Finally after a couple days theyve towed my car, installed the correct oil filter, and supposedly checked my engine for damage through various test. However suspicious of there disgruntal attitude about doing there due dilligents to fix it, I went to another mechanic for a second oppinion. The mechanic told me there was no way that they could have done half of the test they claimed to do without even touching the engine. They lied to my facing telling me they had checked my engine when in fact all they did was put a new oil filter and call it a day. read more

Dropped in to get the oil changed in my car. Quick & slick. I was in & out in about 15 minutes. Went to leave & my car wouldn't start. Went back inside & told the lady at the desk the car died. The fellas from the work bay came out to check my car. I was pretty sure it was the battery because I knew during the winter it had been a little slow to start a couple of times on very cold days. One of the guys put a test meter on it & it popped up with a bad cell reading. So they put a new battery in for me and I went on my merry way. Nice job! They are all so nice. I really appreciate that they had the necessary battery for my vehicle & were so accommodating. Especially when my car was blocking anyone else who came in for an oil change. It died right in the alley from the work bay. How fortuitous was that? I wish I knew everyone's names so I could mention them here. Thank you all for your kindness & hard work. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!! Back in December I brought my truck there to get the spark plugs changed. I had been having problems with it before I brought it in and was hopping the plugs would fix it. Didn't tell them to fix it, just said replace the spark plugs and do a tune up. Fine after them saying it would be done possibly that day and they would call to saying they would have to hold it till the next day and would be done in the morning to finally getting a phone call to pick it up at 1500 I got my truck back. Recommended replacing one of the coil packs. Fine did so with a cheap aftermarket one. Still had same problems. Just got worse. I didn't blame them for the work they did no reason to. It was a hope this works. Well just took it to ford for them to fix it. Come to find out I had two coils bad and 5 of the spark plugs were loose and one of those was a thread away from coming out. Truck is fixed runs like it did when I got it. GOOD!!! Ford recommended talking to Hill top about the spark plugs and getting some money back. So I go to Hilltop auto. I talked to the lady at the desk who, quickly went and got one of the mechanics. Well after waiting for about 5 minutes. The guy comes out with a horrible attitude as ask me what the problem was. So I told him what happened. And he says its fords word against theirs. I ask him if he guarantees his work. He says yes then I say then why did ford find the 3 loose spark plugs. After going round and round in circles with the dude he just walks off. Says I don't have time for this and leaves. Leaving me and my wife dumbfounded at what just happened. Needless to say we won't be going back to them for any service or anything of the sort and will be pursuing this a little more. JUST SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DONT GO THERE!!!!!! read more
